Academy Shopping Center

Called a few days before looking for a tent canopy. The young man who helped was just covering in that area, but found me the product and got me the correct part number.

Upon my visit a few days later we were greeted by the nicest young lady at the front t door. She directed us to the area and we were out the door in 7 mins.

Today we only looked for tennis shoes. We often look at hunting supplies, golf supplies, t-shirts, of, course, shoes, and always check out clearance items. For a Saturday, midday, the store was in good shape. Most things were stocked where intended and not all over the store. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. The store is always organized with a layout that provides a smooth flow to move about. There was plenty of staff available to help and answer questions. We always go back.

Usually a busy place, yesterday was no different.
Friendly staff and usually quick to help when you need it.
I can typically find what I need and be on my way in 20 minutes or less.
Online Oders you can pickup at customer service desk and be gone in less that 5.
Most things are being restocked quickly, high demand items like elsewhere, expect the same slim pickings.
This is my go to store in the area for anything outdoors.

Needed a TV quickly to replace ours that suddenly stopped working. They had the perfect TV, right price and less than an hour for pick up

Academy is our favorite sporting goods store for hunting and fishing gear. They always have good prices on ammo (including some hard to find caliber like 45-70) and killer prices on clearance t-shirts. Most all of our camo gear is from Academy since they have the Realtree print (camo design) in just about every article of clothing so it's easy to mix and match. Larry is also a superstar at helping me find low stock items.

I recently purchased two 5 gallon water coolers here during the ice storm when my son was without water at his house. They reasonably priced, $24 bucks each, and I was in and out in no time. The key here is that they were OPEN during the Ice storm. They had a skeleton crew but I commend them for being open to take care of community needs.

We purchased a new Propane grill. The help from the staff was well beyond any other purchase I've made at this store. Thank you to the staff and I wish I knew their names to give a shout out.

Went here to Best Buy to buy my laptop computer after my horrible experience at Wal-Mart in Fort Worth. Thanks Best Buy!

Big shout out to Bill in Guns/Fishing that went digging through cartons in the back to find a fishing rod for me. Showed it was in stock online but wasn't on the sales floor. He spent a good deal of time locating it and called the next day when he did. The store manager honored a $10 discount ticket that was expired by 1 day also for this sale, so cudo's to Kim too!! Academy Grapevine rocks!!! 👊👍

It's hard finding the cleets I want especially in my size 15 wide. Good customer service they went above and beyond to find my shoe size.

Came looking for shoes.. walked out with 6 pairs lol they’ve always got killer deals and at those prices I don’t even feel guilty! I drive to this location although further but never disappointed!
