A+ customer service. Always helpful and always friendly (wether I like it or not). They almost always have what I’m looking for and often have things that I want but probably don’t need. Anyway, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for Spicewood Hardware

This is an excellently situated hardware store, which was clean, well lit, clean restrooms and friendly service.

My wife and I rented a U-Haul van here, and the process was efficient and straightforward.

Sam, who is Stihl repairman at this ACE Hardware is absolutely amazing. He offers excellent customer service and also does excellent work on Stihl chainsaws. I’d highly recommend him for repairs! Thanks Sam!

Awesome hardware store. Very nice & clean and offer a huge variety of everything for your needs.
I used them for a U Haul pick up. I had to make a lot of time changes because of unexpected illness. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. There’s one employee that really stands out as the best. I called her “my Angel “ Joanna. She should win the prize of “employee of the year “0f all the Ace Hardwares.
That being said there is one young lady that was extremely unreasonable & mean. It was a Sunday and Joanna was off that day.
If you need a hardware store in the Spicewood or Lakeway area, I would highly recommend this one.

Y’all, I am not a fan of hardware stores, but this place is amazing. Capri candles are enough of an incentive for me, but I can’t say enough good things about the staff as well. From Tyler’s laundry detergent to electric lawnmowers, we have always found what we needed here. So grateful to have this place nearby!

Called in to check for a pipe fitting, Henna picked up the call and went above n beyond my usual customer service expectations. She even put me on hold and went to find the right fitting combo and that saved the day on a a Saturday. Aweosme customer service Henna. Keep it up and thanks for super help.

Needed to get a new key for my old Mazda. They can order them for you and cut the key and everything right there in the store. Throughout the entire process of getting the key ordered and then made everyone was professional and courteous. Great location!

Never do I fail to find the item I’m needing here, usually saves me that crucial time to not have to travel to the big box store.. love this location! That staff is very helpful and always welcoming

I didn't think I needed help, till the clerk insisted. I did end up getting exactly what I thought I needed, but it was fun to watch him ponder whether I had made the right call for 15 minutes. Turning my 5 minute trip into 20 minutes, but seems like he really cared about his job!

Been going to this ACE for a few years and it's always been a good experience. The owners and staff do a fine job of keeping the store organized and the staff generally knows their stuff. They recently remodeled and the new layout makes more sense (maybe even more items now?). Deborah is very friendly and attentive, even under busy weekend pressure! Still better than the box stores. Prices are fair. We support local when we can.

This place is so good. It has everything you could possibly need or want in the highest quality you would expect from a mom and pop type hardware store. There are plenty of kind people there ready to serve you. They even have wonderful gifts and trinkets you can definitely appreciate.

An excellent hardware store! I only came across this place because they're a UHaul location, and I'm glad I did. Am astonishing array of things, and pretty much anything you'd need, at good prices. I'm sure they agonize over keeping down to the same price as the big orange store of home goods, but I wouldn't care if they didn't - the staff's knowledge and the great selection make this worth heading out of my way to visit when I need a socket wrench, oil can or bag of fertilizer. Keep up the great work!

Great local hardware option, although some things I find out of stock from time to time.

I can't recommend this store enough. After being greeted at the door and asked what I needed, I was guided to the correct isle and immediately helped with advice and guidance. They even suggested a plumber to use that was local. They made a stressful situation of a burst pipe into a pleasant experience.
