Nothing better than a locally owned small business. We have purchased guitars here numerous times over the years for our kids. It was finally my turn. I had amazing service, tried numerous guitars and was able to choose the best one for me. I’ve had lessons now for nearly 2 months and I’m loving it!!

Great music store with cool used guitars and a lot of nice New Guitars as well. They also have other instruments of all kinds. They give lessons and Jesse does a great job fixing your guitar up when it needs TLC.

Wow wow wow!!! What an amazing experience. I went guitar shopping today with the intention of checking out various stores and browsing for just the right guitar. Kenz was my second stop and was recommended by a co-worker. What an amazing shop. I was in there for not even a few minutes before one of the gentlemen working asked me what I was looking for and told me to sit down and try some out. At no point did I feel pressured. Had I been I probably would have just left. I had amazing interactions with the sales associate, the owner and a local photographer that just happened to be in the store. I ended up with a guitar that as I write this I am still more than stoked to now say that I own. I bought an Alvarez LJ2CE and she sounds amazing. I wish I had gotten the guys name that helped me pick her out. We talked about musicians and he even gave me a book recommendation on one of my favorite guitar players. It was just literally one of the coolest and best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’m definitely recommending this shop to anyone looking to purchase a guitar.

Great shop on the downtown square. Definitely a must-visit store when strolling. The exposed original stone walls and historical wood floors really give this spot it's charm. Great selection and the friendliest service. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and eager to assist customers. I love how they interact with our children. This kind of interaction is exactly the sort of thing that can spark a child's curiosity and inspire them to pick up an instrument. I know my son wants to return and his awe of the shop surely fueled his fire.

Ken is absolutely amazing! He's so helpful and I genuinely love visiting his store! He goes above and beyond to help his customers out. His patience knows no bounds as I have two very hyperactive, inquisitive little girls who will talk your ear off and he will gladly oblige them and answer their questions.

We go there weekly as we have music lessons held in the back rooms and I would recommend his store to anyone and everyone!

Ken's is a family-oriented, friendly place. They're happy to help you with your guitar needs. I haven't bought a guitar there, but I've taken advantage of their luthier services. The service on my guitar couldn't have been performed better. No need to go to Austin for guitar repair and servicing. Ken's is great.

Owner is super nice and willing to help you figure out or find what you need. There is also much more than just guitars here. I'm a ukulele player myself. There's all sorts of instruments here as well as all the little things you may need and fun little decorations for the house

Small town guitar store with full product lines for the player. Friendly informed and helpful personnel. Great place to visit and sit and jam awhile. Highly recommended.

I took my nearly 10 year old Tele in to get the intonation worked on, first time I ever have, and I think my guitar is better than when I bought it new. I'm getting natural harmonics all up and down the fret board.

Love this place & have been going for years. Ken is a true gentleman full of knowledge and his staff is superior. Very family friendly environment. Always able to get what I need here at great rates. Small Town music store with local owner who understands that not all music is about how loud or how new or limited to just one genre.... it's not your big box store with corporate dictates... that's a plus in my book....so it may not have "everything" as one review indicated...but I've been to the big stores in Hollywood and Nashville that didn't have what I need...so that can't be a strike against a small store simply because of it's size. This store is comfortable.

What an amazing gem of a store on the historic downtown Georgetown Square. Ken is super and so was all the other staff we talked with. I visited this store the Saturday before Christmas and everyone was just delightful and happy to assist in my search for a guitar! I found a really special guitar for my dad for Christmas! Check it out for sure!

My son and I love to stop in anytime we are on the square. Ken is always smiling, always nice and always helpful. Wide variety of musical instruments, gear, repairs and accessories, and if he does not have it, then he will either order it for you or tell you where you can find it locally. Ken'z is the best.

This is my first stop any time we come to the Worlds Greatest Town Square. Ken is an amazing gift to Georgetown mercantile. We have shopped all the music box stores like everyone does, but when we moved to Georgetown and found this gem with live shows and open mic nights (pre Covid-19) we fell in love with Ken’z. We always are surprised at his ever changing selection. Ken is a brilliant supporter of all genres of musicians and bands. Honestly if it’s not in stock no worries Ken can get it for you. You really have to stop in when you come the Georgetown square. What an awesome blast you’ll have. Sure you’ve seen huge Music stores and we’ve all shopped them, however you will love a visit with Ken anytime or every time your near the square in Georgetown. Parking is generally great and who doesn’t love to walk all the shops in the most beautiful town square in Texas. Stellar restaurants and stunning stores with great inventory to browse. So get your fun on at Ken’z Guitars soon. Stop in and support this shop anytime you can during this pandemic, we all need picks, t shirts and a strum or three on some of his guitars and basses. If you need school band equipment or instruments he’s your guy.

Ken is a great guy who cares about his customers and their loyalty. He's honest, knowledgeable, genuine. The shop has a wide selection, great prices, and a cool atmosphere.

Ken is the owner of this store and he is there. He is very knowledgeable about the musical instruments. We got ukuleles for our three granddaughters and one for their grand dad so he could teach them to play. They also do repairs on instruments. I would highly recommend Ken's guitars if you were looking for musical instruments.
