We had breakfast. Enjoyed the food and the relaxing atmosphere. Our server, Annette, did a great job! Attentive, efficient, and very personable. All around, a great way to start the morning! Kudos to Carla C. for her excellent service for breakfast of day two of our stay at the Sheraton.

Loved the Brix Burger. Thought the pretzel bun was going to be tough and salty, but I was way off. The medium-rare meat was greasy but not too juicy to soak the bun. No mods were needed. Tasted great stock. I got the wrong beer to pair with, maybe a dark would have been better.

I ate at the bar so the service was quick, and the bartender was helpful in deciding the meal.

The rest of the restaurant looked rather intimate, so I didn't walk past the bar. There were a few teles at the bar anyway. It seems like locals regular here.

Decided to try Brix and Ale for a Saturday breakfast. There was a Brunch Buffet available, in addition to a Brunch Menu for individual items. We decided to get the Brix & Ale Burger and the Avacado Toast. Excellent meals. The burger was served on a cutting board. It was so juicy, you had to eat it fast. My husband put a napkin down in front of him to contain the juices. It was really delicious. I ordered the avacado toast, and it was absolutely scrumptious. I felt like I got my healthy meal in. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the avacado was whipped with lime instead of lemon. Added a great zesty flavor. The service was great and the manager was very attentive with all of the guests. He visited with the patrons while making his rounds to ensure everything was good and if anything was needed. As for the asthetics of the restaurant, it is very open and pleasing. The windows overlook the hotel pool as well as the greenbelt behind the hotel. We definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes. Parking is free in the garage next to the hotel. You can order in or for take out. The service was quick, and again, all staff were very attentive and absolutely nice. Definitely a great place to stop in.

Decided to try this place out for my BFF’s birthday lunch and was not disappointed! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine and the food! We tried a variety of things on the menu and really enjoyed the presentation, freshness and taste of the food. We had fried pickles, chips and queso, street tacos (both kinds) and the grilled Caesar salad that had REAL grilled romaine lettuce that had a WONDERFUL/ unique taste to it. We LOVED it! Our waitress, Carla was really sweet and attentive and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Brunch is from 10-3 and the buffet ends at 12. Amazing buffet for Sunday brunch. It's exactly what you would think of for a brunch, but nicer and extremely clean and hot. Add on some Mimosas and a Bloody Mary and it is a very memorable breakfast, for a reasonably affordable price. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The silver wear was clean and the water was filtered.

There is always plenty of parking at the hotel and we have been here three times and never had to wait to be seated.

The other reviews are mixed, and I suppose that's true for any restaurant where they make things from scratch. They are new and perhaps have a few issues to work out, but my visits have all been great and we will be back.

Amazingly delicious food ... breakfast or lunch. Consistently excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful ... if a regular guest, they make an effort to know you and your preferences (above and beyond service and care). The environment is relaxing and comfortable. Great indoor and outdoor seating. I love being in this space and easily spend the whole day!

We had a Christmas Dinner for 27. The chef, staff and food were wonderful. Achiote Chicken, Short Ribs, Grilled Texas Caesar Salad, Chocolate Flourless Cake - all were delicious. Service top notch. Will definitely have another event here and come by with my family for future lunch and dinners.

Brix and Ale is a restaurant you want to visit in Georgetown. Each dish was crafted beautifully and was thoughtfully paired with their crafted drinks and local wine.

Chef Executive Robert G. Felios III and his team provided us with phenomenal small town Texas hospitality. It was a dining experience I will not forget and more of a reason to visit Georgetown!

Pictured here is:

Vanilla crème brûlée topped with strawberry

Warm bread pudding with bourbon caramel and vanilla ice cream

Brix and Ale was a great place to stop for some happy hour drinks and snacks. The restaurant is located within the Sheraton in Georgetown off Rivery. We had to eat outside because the Sheraton pumps some nasty Fabuloso-type smell throughout all their vents and it was headache inducing. The restaurant isn’t going to get less of a star because the hotel. The drinks were great at Brix and Ale and it was in a quiet part of the hotel at the bottom. Great patio seating.

We had Karla - she is an absolute rockstar,. This is the only restaurant and hotel that I stay at while I’m in the Austin area. Their services phenomenal. It’s always a lovely and meticulously clean atmosphere as well.

Brix and Ale is a wonderful restaurant that was the only one open in our neighborhood tonight during the ice storm. Since this restaurant is a 5 minute drive from home, we happily braved the weather. The place was busy and in spite of it being understaffed due to the storm, the service was good. The waiter was sincerely apologetic about the speed but we didn’t mind. The menu is not very extensive but the food we ordered was good. My group ordered the crab cakes, shrimp rigatoni and fish tacos and they were all delicious. The rigatoni was beautifully seasoned with creamy butter sauce and was served piping hot. The crab cakes, which were generous with the meat, and served with a big salad on the side, were also delicious. All in all a lovely experience.

Very nice restaurant in the Sheraton Austin Georgetown. We were staying at the hotel, so it was convenient, too. We had dinner and drinks, then brought food up to our kids. The bartender was very nice and helpful.

We had the place to ourselves for the most part. Enjoyed a cocktail and a glass of wine, and sour the four cheese grilled cheese, which was outstanding.

We will be back to sit by the fire tables on the patio.

Live music in the background was an added bonus.
