He was fair, honest, and made me feel confident about my decision. I’ve been driving my Grand Cherokee for almost a year now and it still drives like its brand new. The wife is needing a different vehicle soon and I can guarantee it’ll come from Bloomington Auto Sales.

Rick is an amazing salesman, he stayed way late waited for me to come from 3 towns over and still got me an amazing deal on a really nice vehicle. I would definitely recommend using this dealership. Bests them all in the central illinoos region!!!!

Came through for me when I was in a bind. Got a decent deal on a used car. Car runs smoothly so far. The only thing I'd recommend to this place is to get a good office manager/receptionist for organization and handling customers.

UPDATE: The car still runs, but ended up having severe water damage issues and a rusted brake issue that cost $300 to fix. The sun roof leaks and stores a lot of water that dumps on you upon acceleration. Really cheap car, but be aware of hidden issues.

Went to pick up a car for for my friend's fiancé, and we did a test drive. Everything seemed fine, but then the check engine light came on. They plugged it in and ran some checks, and then told us it was an emissions code—that made sense, since it was a hybrid. They reassured us everything was fine, it wouldn't be anything major. Rick seemed like a nice guy.

Shortly after the purchase, the car overheated on the side of the road due to a faulty belt configuration and a missing radiator cap. My friend called Rick to rectify the situation, and didn't get any reasonable help. Rick said he'd have to pay even more for only the bare minimum of service on a car we were lied to about.

In short, don't trust this guy. He made us feel like we were getting a solid car for solid money, but then hung us out to dry as soon as everything was signed. None of the issues were easy to see from our initial impression, and we were lead on. Bad business, bad ethics. Would not recommend.

Bought a 2009 Chevy Traverse from Rick in October 2020. Thought I was getting a solid car for a decent price. Financed $5000 just to have to finance another $4200 in repairs come the end of November because the timing chain went and then a control arm and a catalytic converter had to be replaced. Still finding things wrong and have now put in more money to fix it then the cost of the car. They are definitely never getting any business from me ever again!
