Athletico Physical Therapy - Aurora Eola

I worked as an aide here for a little over a year and it has been one of the best experiences ever. It’s an amazing place to be and to work. All of the therapists and support staff (the rehab aides and fearless front desk leader queen Diana) are so kind and genuinely brilliant at what they do. The time I spent here has taught me so much and made me a better person!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

I have chronic neck issues that also impacts my right shoulder. I saw Chris for a flare up I was having. From day 1 he was very professional and made sure from the start that the more we communicate to each other the better. He allowed me to let him know what was working and what wasn't that needed adjusted. Thanks to Chris, I have
never have had this much range of motion and I appreciate all the time invested in coming up with my treatment plan. I have been seen at other Athletico locations and Chris by far has been the most helpful. I will definitely be back in the future to see him if I have more flare ups I am not able to manage. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. I also saw Mark for a free assessment and he was very informative and shared a lot of why my thumb was hurting and let me know what I could use so it feels better. Since my visit with him, my thumb has felt a lot better. To the entire staff - Thank you for the support and the investment you put in to helping patients like me. Can't say enough good things about this location and the employees who work here. Thanks Chris!

After a knee replacement I was lucky to have someone refer me to Athletico Eola. My therapist, Noah Paras was great! He knew about knee replacements and what I should expect during my recovery. I started 7 days after surgery and was barely mobile, but after Noah worked his magic I'm back to almost normal, but with no pain. Noah set my expectation which was right on, and then we set out to work toward the goal.

I had physical therapy when I lived in New Jersey after a shoulder surgery and it was nothing like the experience at Athletico Eola. It's hard to imagine that hard work - pain - all the while in an environment that is fun and energetic. Chris manages this facility and creates the environment that makes it fun to get better.

I highly recommend Noah Paras for your PT and certainly recommend this facility!

Mark Tenhor was terrific in helping me through the healing process after a wrist fracture requiring surgical repair. The whole staff was super helpful and right on top of the details with my surgeon’s office and insurance carrier. Appointments were readily available.

Great team, great atmosphere, great therapy! Simply put, best therapy team and organization I have ever worked with. I have had 11 surgeries with extensive physical therapy following and in my experience, this team is hands down the best I have seen. Do not hesitate to utilize this team and facility for your therapy needs.

Athletico at North Eola is a great place with extremely helpful therapists and experts. I had a great experience during my recovery from a surgery. I felt fully supported and taken care of. This facility is very cheerful and always bustling with people. I worked with Chris and Daisy through my recovery and am very thankful for their support and commitment! They took the time to explain my injury in detail and answered all my questions thoroughly. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would recommend this center to anyone looking for effective and compassionate physical therapy care.

I came to this site for physical therapy on a sore shoulder. From the first evaluation, through each session until the conclusion of my therapy Chris Chalko and team were fantastic to work with. They were flexible in scheduling my PT sessions at times that were convenient to my work schedule. I experienced steady progress from my twice a week sessions, and am pleased to be in less pain. Great experience!

After having cancer and surgery on my arm needed therapy and looked into athletico physical therapy. Was the best decision I could have made my occupational therapist Mark the rest of the staff was very nice and make you feel welcome everyday. I appreciate everything that did for me to get me back to work and a timely manner I thank everybody for their support and help. Definitely will recommend them to family and friends if ever needed. You won't be disappointed by the knowledge, patience, and positive attitude the therapists have for you. Everyone at the Atheltico on Eola was fantastic, special shout out to Jordan, Noah, Nem, and Chris (Mr. Inevitable). I was there for a weak hip and IT band strain and put in the work to get well enough in 6 weeks to no longer need them but promised to continuewith what they all taught me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for pushing me, healing me and most important reminding me that I can still do hard things.

Best place to go for physical therapy. Their staff is amazing and they will always make your day so much better. I walk in there and I’m instantly greeted and I’m always asked how my day is. They are amazing with scheduling and always have open times. Their equipment is always clean and very nice and well kept. They are very good with getting me back to sports and making sure I am healthy. All in all a great place for physical therapy with great staff, equipment, scheduling, etc.

Pros: I worked primarily with Daisy but also saw Noah for a couple of visits. Everyone there was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and made my physical therapy experience go extremely well! If you go in the evening be prepared to talk about “what’s for dinner?” Because that seemed to be the most important question most nights! You’ll definitely be laughing through some of the (good) pain they put you through while they help get you back on track. Everyone works together and you get to know everyone there, not just your therapist which makes it a good environment for recovery.

Cons: Daisy refuses to count your reps for you. She makes you count everything! (But she will set out a timer for time based exercises) And there is this really tall guy Kris who works there who has this outrageous hatred for pretzels. Ive never met someone who hates pretzels as much as he did. My only suggestion is don’t bring up pretzels if you are working with him…🤷‍♂

Chris and the other therapist are awesome. They are all so friendly but also know how to push you to work harder and get you where you need to be! The front desk ladies are also super sweet and always say hi!

Amazing staff. Helped me return to collegiate football and rugby. I have recommended them to multiple people in need of therapy as well! Will definitely be back if I ever need it! Shoutout to Chris Winberg

I was referred for PT by my doctor due to acute explosive pain in the base of my skull. These occurrences were extremely painful and began happening multiple times per day. I worked primarily with Chris, who assessed the issues and developed a treatment plan. He was patient, encouraging, and listened to my concerns. Within a few weeks of twice weekly visits, I began experiencing reduced occurrences of the pain, and after a few more weeks, the pain had subsided altogether. I was just discharged with a solid understanding of what I need to do to maintain my neck health. If I should ever experience any issues in future, I will definitely return to Athletico. I am so grateful to Chris and Daisy for all their work in getting me back to a good place.

This location is the most caring and really listens to the patient. All staff is attentive and encouraging . Great comradery among the staff. They make each session Fun even though the exercise is not.

This is a great place to get your physical therapy. I recently had my left knee replaced and I received great guidance and encouragement from Chris W. through the process.I feel that we worked as a team by setting goals and meeting them one by one. He truly enjoyed and shared in my progress.. For me, having a great physical therapist is only part of it…. The entire clinic is very well run. They communicate well with each patient and handle all the various administration.There is a collective vibe in the clinic. Everyone pitches in ,supports and encourages the efforts for each patient to recover as favorably as possible.The therapists frequently confer with each other regarding their concerns. Arriving at the best possible outcome for each patient is what really matters to them .Thanks for helping this old guy to have a successful rehab………Jack H

I had the privilege to rehab my shoulder at this facility. Everyone there was very friendly and also pushed me to get to get to my goals. I would recommend this facility to anyone and would come back without question if I needed to rehabilitate anything. Thanks to everyone at the facility!

Daisy and Chris were awesome!! They both worked with me on my sciatica nerve problem. They are both very knowledgeable and compassionate. Listened to what my concerns were and worked with me until I was feeling so much better. Gave me exercises to do at home which helped with my treatment.

I would highly recommend their facility. The entire staff is very nice and very welcoming!! I’ve had physical therapy before and I definitely think Daisy and Chris are two of the top therapist I’ve ever had!!

My experience from start to finish with Athletico has been excellent. Every associate is professional, friendly and helpful, including benefits/billing and the front desk staff. Most importantly, my therapy with Chris C. has truly given me back quality of life I was so sad to have lost, and saved me a surgery I really didn’t want to have. We worked hard, made great progress and laughed every session. It is very bittersweet for my treatment at Athletico to be ending, I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made with strength and mobility, but will miss going there, pushing myself and enjoying the kindness of everyone there.

Update: 9/6/23 I returned to the clinic after total hip replacement surgery. Like my previous experience, receiving care at this facility was above and beyond. I truly believe their help and support made my recovery quicker, less painful, and more fun. Every member of the team is professional, caring, and want to help their patients feel better. I also was truly grateful to the holistic care I was given, I didn’t expect the emotional journey that a surgery involves, and the compassion and time given to me were invaluable.
All the stars, I will miss going to sessions, highest recommendation!

The staff at Athletico in Aurora, specifically Chris and Jess are unbelievably awesome! They worked with me to relieve my back pain, show me exercises to do everyday to be able to sustain a pain-free life and be able to live life again.

It was hard work that paid off as I am feeling great. Chris and Jess are friendly, professional and very understanding to a person’s pain. I would highly recommend this PT to anyone who needs it.
