Central Public House

I have only visited for lunch but it was awesome! Would recommend. Parking spots on Main St. but there are also spots behind the building - be aware of the signs, don't park in the side lot - it's for Hopkinton Drug only.

Food is pretty consistently good. So far everything I've gotten here has been positive. The Caesar salad (with chicken) is divine- the dressing is pretty unique and one of the best I've ever had. It's an entree by itself. Gumbo tasted good even if I can't attest to the traditional-ness of it. Bread pudding is so good as well but a little too rich to finish in one sitting.

Go!!! This place is special. Staff treats you like family. Food (especially the fries) is really good and always rotating. Draft beer selection is perfect and always up to date. So nice to dine at a small locally owned and managed place

Rustic, approachable, comforting - Central Public House is the premier culinary attraction in Hopkinton featuring a seasonally rotated menu and superb staff. Recently, I was particularly thrilled to see chef revisit Osso Buco with steak sourced from Wisconsin and the peasant dish, Duck Cassoulet, featuring crispy pork belly and sausage.
Edit: I’m aghast someone rated CPH three stars bc they updated their menu, excluding French onion soup vs. a fast food restaurant with no dining area or bar they rated five stars…??!! CPH is the best restaurant in Hopkinton. Five stars. Full stop.

Thank you Mr. Wilson for bringing flavor to Hopkinton!!! Love your restaurant. The short ribs were so flavorful and tender. The tuna tartar was fun. Loved the papaya sauce for the oysters. The atmosphere was incredible. Can't wait to return. Oh, and our waitress Kristen was amazing. Welcome to the neighborhood, and THANK YOU!!!!!

......Once again, an outstanding dining experience on the patio at the Central House Pub. The great food, profesional, efficient service and friendly management and staff we're in evidence which we alway expect here based upon our frequent past visits. Special kudos to Mike, Leeanne, Lauren, Christina and Laurie for their contribution to a splendid, enjoyable time for us at the Pub. We're so happy that the restaurant is here in town and back to almost full operation.

We are frequent guests at the Pub, and think everything about it is GREAT! The overall experience is wonderful, to include the quality of the food&beverage, the service, the menu, and the ambiance not to mention the professionalism and friendliness of the management and staff! A great place and welcome addition to downtown Hopkinton.

Tonight was a spectacular night to visit the CpH! Heaters were blazing and Dennis was cooking up a storm. The mussels were steamed to perfection--slipping out of their shells right into that garlic bread sopping buttered sauce. The roasted pepper humus with naan and the Thai fish cakes with that mouth watering aioli opened the evening festivities. The chicken and waffles were crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside...I swear I was down south. I enjoyed the sword fish steak myself but the scallop gnocchi took the prize home tonight. Well, until the pumpkin spice creme Brule but don't listen to me. Go try it yourself! Any and all the CpH hosts and hostesses make you feel like royalty....

We come here on our lunch break weekly. As there very limited options for lunch-in this area. We usually order the salad which is very good. Lauren, our waitress is great. The ambiance is pretty.

This place is a great restaurant! The food was superb and the drinks were awesome. Highly recommend the French Onion Short Ribs! The place has a great look and an even better vibe. TLDR: Great service, Awesome food!!!!

We are so glad that they're back! We just had a wonderful evening "in the alley" with Mike, Calley, Kristina and Lauren---great drinks, great food and the friendliest, professional service. Downtown Hopkinton has needed an operation such as this for years----Great to have them back on line.

Great place, loved the interior and the bar was great. Initial impression was outstanding. Great staff and service. We only stopped in for a quick drink and are excited about returning again.

it was phenomenal...awesome food and service by our waitress Laurie who was incredibly sweet and informative about the menu and venue.She went above and beyond to make our first visit memorable.Absolutely 5 star and worth many repeat visits.

Large, comfortable bar with seasonal cocktails and a burger to remember. The outdoor patio makes for delightful dining and people watching downtown in the summer.

Cant speak for the food (yet) but I'm excited a bar with such a great atmosphere landed in Hopkinton. Lucky to have it. Great setup and great beers.

We ordered to go from here because someone gave us a gift card for Christmas, and OMG the food is delicious! Everything came out perfect!! We will definitely be ordering from here again!

I had a burger cooked perfectly, as I requested, and the place was very clean & new looking. Service was prompt & friendly. I would go here again!
