Clark (Richard) Park

One if my favorite places in Chicago. My 8yr old rides her bike on the dirt bumps they have big ones for beginners and more advanced ones. Paved pathways for walking, jogging or riding bikes. No motorized vehicles allowed. Parking lot. Great place for a picnic. Has washrooms inside. Can rent kayaks, or bring your own. Has a dock to the Chicago river. Ducks and geese are nice to watch.

I’ve been coming here for years now, and this is one of my favorite parks in Chicago.

Best place for biking, running or walking and it feels completely safe for me when alone.

Beautiful scenery and nature along the water.

Free parking.. Dog friendly... We met here so my 2 year old puppy could meet his real momma fir the 1st time! Great Day!

This is a great place to go rent a kayak from. Prices are very affordable and the staff is so friendly and pleasant. This place is a gem.

GREAT PARK FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, has great moto bike track or bikes in general with plenty of trail and a good view. Especially nice now with the addition of the new WMS BOATHOUSE.

Awesome place to launch Kayaks. Just an outstanding facility with FREE parking (in Chicago, that's a huge deal)

Cool park. You can rent a boat. There's a bathroom. Walking trails. Would recommend

Good parking, large launch area, plus when bathrooms are open

A wonderful public boat launch for canoes, kayaks and SUPs. Rentals are available. Well situated to have access to quieter northern parts of the Chicago river or the busier downtown areas. Sufficient open space around the boat launch to picnic. An fort bike course is immediately south of the buildings. Public restrooms are available during service hours.

Great for a pleasant kayak/canoe trip along a nice green stretch of the river. In early June we saw maybe 50 ducklings and goslings in one hour.

Perfect place to park if one of you is into kayaking and the other into BMX.

Super smooth kayak launch. Easy low-pressure parking situations.

Beautiful little park on the river with paved trails and a boat house. Street parking is free and plentiful. I stop here to take my elderly dog for a nightly walk on our home from doggy daycare 😊🐾

Kayaking on the Chicago river. The water was a bit polluted for my taste but the views we're good. A very calming place. The staff at the kayak rental were very friendly and helpful.

I might pick a spot further down river next time just to avoid the pollution.

This park, on the Chicago river is well loved by those who like to walk or for crew teams that use this part of the river for rowing practice. Birding is a popular pastime as it attracts all sorts of birds and waterfowl. There are paths on each side of the river and it is easily accessible from different points.
