Anderson's Bookshop

A great bookstore, locked in a perfect place. I came here accidentally for an author's meeting with Wendy Moss and I was enchanted by this place, atmosphere and how professional staff work here. It will definitely come here more than once because the assortment is very rich here.

Support your local bookstores and come check this place out! I was here this past weekend for a book signing, and there was an issue with my tickets for the event that was out of their control. The staff made it right and we had an AMAZING experience with the author. The store has a great selection and they genuinely care about their customers.

A hometown bookseller, gift shop, fun toy store, puzzle warehouse, and more! They have an "Ask Me" desk that's always manned & where I've always felt welcome to ask ANYTHING, even if it means a referral to another shop that will get the business.

This place is special as it carries Naperville items --- books about the town, books written by local writers, and also an assortment of Naperville souvenirs.

As you enter the building, there is a display of children's gratitude cards on the windows, and once inside, there is an area for local vendors to advertise events.

I could go on forever, but you get the idea. Anderson's is a special place. Warm and inviting. Your hometown local business. There aren't many places like this anymore, anywhere. Come check it out!

Great local bookstore. They always have a good selection, and if they don't have something they can order it, typically comes in a few days. Prices are typically the same as the big chain or that giant online seller of everything that we shouldn't buy from. I recently used Andersons online ordering system to get a book they didn't have, it arrived in 3 days AND for a cheaper price, they refunded the difference. Shop local and support your neighbors.

This bookstore is amazing. The variety of books and authors is immense with so many diverse genres and diverse authors. I went for a book signing and instantly became a fan. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

The staff was amazing!!! I came in for a book signing from the far north side of Chicago. I am disabled and can't stand for very long, they went above and beyond to help me out and make it so that I didn't have to bring extra equipment with me. The staff very much make everyone feel very welcome, regardless if this is their first time there or if they are regulars. My only regret is that I don't live closer and can't go back more often. It will be on my must visit list for anytime I am in the area for sure!

What would I do without Anderson's Bookshop in my life? Between having the best selection, hosting top notch author visits, and being the perfect meeting place for our group of book friends, I am SO grateful to Anderson's for all they joy they've brought to my life!

Met Richelle Mead (Author) here a few days ago. This was the second signing I've attended Anderson's put together, but first in the store. The store is just so neat! Lots to browse and see. Signing was small and more personal than others I've been to. Things I thought were really fun were innapropriate socks, dishtowels, etc. My friend and I took forever trying to read them all and I was laughing obnoxiously hard unfortunately. I couldn't help it will return if the opportunity presents!

Many a years has my family spent shopping the cozy aisles at Anderson's Bookstore. I;ve seen this business expand their tidy toy corner into a whole big fun section of their expanded store. The icing on the cake - in addition to their oh so personal service - is how they manage to get well recognized writers to visit in person for personal style presentations and book signing. Anderson's Bookstore is amazing on SO many levels!

My dad and I drove from downtown Chicago to go see one of my absolute Heroes Patrick McDonnell, and I brought my cat with me. He signed a book for her and signed a Father's Day comic strip for my dad, as well. I liked the fact that it felt very intimate like an old school bookstore not one of the big big places where you get overwhelmed very nicely presented event as well.
