Illinois Tollway Headquarters I-Pass

The customer service reps that answer are very polite, professional, informative and patient. I've never had a call where my problem was not resolved. The only complaint I have with IPASS is that we pay a ridiculous amount of money for tolls and our roads suck. Illinois should call Texas or Nebraska and ask them how they do their roads.

Samantha was the representative that took care of me. She did a fantastic job and resolved my issue. She was friendly and smiling the whole time. Wish more people in the service industry were like her. Thank you

Excellent new approach. I got my original transponder when they open up and there was a line around the corner another building. Now they do it in such a way very similar to Florida and it's definitely a great approach

Very long waiting time. Associate behind the window was very attentive, pleasant, & knowledgeable . Made the wait time more bearable.

I had received an email saying the last four tolls were done by license plate and not the transponder. I went to this location to have the transponder checked. I had no wait to be serviced. The person checked the transponder and said it is defective and exchanged it without any hassle. This was not what I expected from a state agency.

I had an issue that I needed a resolution to. Fortunately enough, I work in near proximity to the tollway HQ. I decided to visit in person after the phone reps were blatantly sticking to a script called, How To Provide Zero Assistance to Tollway Patrons.

There was a short wait (5 minutes or so) before my number was called. I was assisted by a fine employee named JD. He listened to my situation and made sense of it to me. He provided a satisfactory response and resolution that helped me rectify the problem at hand. Kudos, JD.

I doubt the Tollway cares or reads these reviews but it's far time that Illinois stops the unnecessary charade it's playing. So, if you are on Public Aid (SNAP or TANF) you will get your toll fines waived. If you're a Working Class Joe/Jane and don't qualify as poor- you will most likely be stuck with hefty fines. So, just because someone makes less than average, they get off the hook??? Yes, it's true and it says so on the toll pass website.

Additionally, the phone reps claim they can't get you to a supervisor because they "work remote" and "can't transfer the call". I had a phone associate named Robert tell me that today. I had opted into a short phone survey after my call. I was going to give Robert a negative score. After our call, the survey call rang my phone. I immediately answered and then the phone line went dead. Ironic isn't it?

I'm not always able to do what I need on their website so I need to call. Every interaction I've had has been exceptional. I've always received the assistance I need.

They did good if you call 📞 nothing gets done you will have to just show up their to get the job done this is only for the people who clean up behind your house 🏠 my 355 so when they do come out they do a great job 😀 👍

Short wait time's and quick service. Knowledgeable friendly staff.

Check the time of day/business to get in and out fast. Helpful people, taking grief from patrons but they are great. They now have chairs to sit if you have to wait, and they have lower desks for those in wheel chairs. Our rep helped us save some time. Thanks to you guys!

Came in person to replace my I pass responder, waited only 15 minutes and got up to the counter and got out in 10 minutes. Good job.

I received some of the best service I've received in over two decades! I have no complaints !

Stopped here on Friday to get a new pass. Mine fell off my motorcycle in the rain and hail storm the day before. Only had to wait a few minutes, and everyone was very nice and friendly, a chance to what I'm used to at other government facilities. The lady at the count told me that if I find my Ipass, I can bring it in for a credit on my account. Show told me where it was last used, and it was close to the bridge I pulled over under. Figured it was on my way home anyway so I'll stop and look. Would you believe on an expressway under the bridge I found half of my ipass. Starting to think I wonder it I could half my money back. Lol just kidding, I took it home and threw it away. Added a couple of pictures. Thank you for reading my story.

Half Price Tolls when using Ipass! Faster no stops for tolls!

They had a QR code on a big sign outside the building to scan to "get in line & be notified when to enter". I was texted notification of a 1m wait time... after 6 minutes I went on in & received friendly, quick service while exchanging my toll transponder.

Very clean and great employees. Quick service.

Wonderful people at this facility. Sabrina took care of my invoices today and greatly reduced the amounts shown. She also did some digging on the computer and found out what the problem with my account was. Greatly appreciated - thank you, Sabrina!!!
