Mexa Maya - Mexican & Central American Restaurante

My go to mexican restaurant in town. Great service and food. Their taco shell salad is amazing and thier enchiladas the best.

Had some time to kill. 4.55 for a tall draft. Not even thinking of food, as I looked at the menu, I decided that I would eat. Great idea. Great place to enjoy an adult beverage and some grub!!

Great Mexican food with a wide variety! Really authentic Mayan cuisine. Loved the salsa and the meal- had a good amount of leftovers from it.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was hot and fresh, well prepared, and plated. I had the camarones a la diabla, and it was awesome. Spicy! The salsa was pretty mild, but it was fresh and had good flavor. The restaurant is clean, well maintained, and inviting.

Mexa Maya is truly one of the finest Mexican options in town. Their Deluxe Burrito claims to be the best in town and it is! The interior is so nice and the food is so great. This is a spot I recommend all to try!

This place is amazing!! Definitely underrated. Don’t pass it up. The service was great and the food was incredible. Not one thing to complain about.

This place is not the typical American "Mexican" restaurant. I can't speak as to its authenticity, as the only food I ate when I was in Mexico was a turkey sandwich provided by a bus tour co (we were on a cruise excursion to Tulum). 😅, but we really enjoyed the different choices at Mexa Maya from the other places in town. I was a little unsure of the location, as restaurants don't seem to last long in that area, but I really did enjoy the restaurant and I hope it's there for the long term.
Guac was really good, but contains raw onions, in case you are sensitive to that. Service was relatively quick, considering there was a birthday party of 45 starting up whole we were there. We'll definitely be back.

I like the variety of central American dishes as well as more common menu items. This time I ordered the Enchiladas Mexicans and tried a pupusa on the side. Enjoyed everything - the flavors are mild, but they have a good selection of hot sauces to adjust to taste.

We had a really nice time here the other day.
Super friendly staff, good food and chips. Ice cold beer (just look at this beauty!), reasonable prices.
Also, they're following Covid protocols and have a nice outdoor seating area that was totally shaded by the time we got there at 6:00.
So glad they made it thru the last year, they've definitely earned our support. We'll be back!

This place is amazing! Incredibly fresh salsa and crispy chips were the perfect start. The chicken fajita quesadilla was amazing and the cheese sauce on top was to die for. This place is great and I can't wait to go back.

Excellent experience. Blazingly Fast service with piping hot food. The ingredients were fresh and tasty.
$4.50 16oz drafts were cold and refreshing.
Food was fairly priced w the portion sizes and was a good value. Ill certainly be back!

best authentic mexican food in the area!! margaritas are strong but gooood. I had the enchiladas bravas with a margarita and my boyfriend had the burrito supreme and everything was right under $30! will definitely be coming all the time now!
