Fairview Park

What a beautiful park, well maintained, lots of features, such as skate park, baseball field, swimming pool, splash park, 2 large playgrounds, it's my grandsons favorite park, he loves it here., Clean restroom located between playgrounds. , Lots of picnic tables, soccer field,

I visited for the 4th of July 2023 fireworks. The show was great. I haven't been to the park outside of the 4th of July fireworks show.
That being said the show was great. My family and I had a great spot on the lawn to view the show up close and personal. I'd definitely go next year too.

Went here because Anderson was closed. 2 1/2 hours went by very quickly, the slides were amazing! The pool was busy but not so crowded that I couldn't sneak in a few regular laps. My ten year old approved too.

Very humid but breeze is best here and lots of shady areas and a picnic area right next to it and a pool near too < 3

Really nice area. The park is clean, and our church had a great time there. It was a beautiful day!

BEAUTIFUL park!! lots of parking and spread out lots. Multiple playground for the kiddos, half dozen or so of gazebos with tables..more tables in between those. nice clean restrooms, nice bridge and walking path...splash pad and community pool. VERY nice!

We have only gone to the pool at Fairview Park. It is pretty big and fun for a wide range of kids. It does get pretty busy, though. There are many other things to do in the park as well. We saw tennis courts, a playground, a skate park, and I am sure other things that we did not see as we did not drive all the way through the park.

Swim lesson with my 4 year old grandson was well run and fun.

Grandson plays soccer here. The fields are well kept. The baseball diamonds are also. Very family friendly.

We came here for a high school XC fun run. Great Park. Connected to long paved two system. This Park has large open areas along with baseball/softball field and a public swimming pool aquatic center. My kids love coming here.

Good water park with fun slides. It's a safe place for your kids as there always seems to be a cop posted there.

Took our kids to the pool for the first time and they had an amazing time. Everything was clean and the staff was polite. Unfortunately, our day was ended early due to a storm but we'd been there for 3 hours already anyway. I would like to compliment the staff on how they handled some unpleasant guests, the uncertainty of whether the pool would reopen, and their adherence to their published policies. Only downside to the pool was following the rules against outside food and drunk and watching others open large coolers. Oh well.

The playground area was also clean and appeared to be well maintained. My son, a baseball fanatic, hopes he gets to play a game on the field at some point.

Price is affordable. So much to do for kids and adults. Lifeguards do an awesome job!

I love this park. I regularly bring my dogs here for off leash walks. The tennis courts seem to be kept in good shape. They're are nice picnic areas with playgrounds. There is also a skate ramp that seems pretty challenging. I'm told by my son the"lines" aren't that great, but the variety of obstacles seems nice. And during summer season be the water park has drawn rave reviews from my 13yr old as well. Says the slides are awesome.

Loved it! Family went so kids could use the pool. Life Guards were very attentive and nice, and it was just a lot of fun. 3 kids ages 2, 5, and 7.

Grew up coming here. Moved away & come back & met at a pavilion with old schoolmates for a reunion. Beautiful. We'll maintained. Didn't get to enjoy the pool, buy it still looks good.

I grew up in this Park, seems like I spent most of my Life in this park with my brother Bill. Lots and lots of memories oh, boy times have changed over the years so has this park. The city of normal has really taken great care of Fairview Park. It is a great part for family reunions, class reunions, cookouts or just lounging around.

Great park with plenty of facilities.

I absolutely love bringing my kids to this place. Very well-kept, beautiful grassy open areas. Even when there are lots of people you never feel crowded. Playground is friendly for use of kids of all ages.
