Reality Bites

Been here several times. Always good! My salad had one sliver of avocado on it. Bummer! A little slow today, got a parking ticket for exceeding the 90min park time.

Reality Bites is one of my go-to places for a special, nice meal like a birthday or anniversary. They live up to the hype in being known for their small plates. We have done some fun meals just getting a bunch of appetizers and leave completely satisfied. The goat cheese balls are a MUST every time!! I've never had a bad dish!

My boyfriend and I decided to try some place new for dinner and landed on Reality Bites. The owner greeted us right away. They were busy, so we sat at the bar while we waited for a table. It was worth the wait for sure! We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp 🍤 and bacon wrapped dates for appetizers. I'm still thinking about how good both of those were. 🤤 My boyfriend ordered the New York Strip and I ordered "the Funks Grove Burger". I can't say enough good things about the food and environment there. We were raving to our family and friends about it!

Went here for lunch and was amazed by everything! We ordered the seared tuna, funks grove burger, the western wagon burger, sweet potato fries, and the goat cheese ball salad. Could not stop raving about how good the food was while I was eating it and I honestly think those were the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. I would 100% recommend the goat cheese ball salad. Our waitress was also really funny and super nice.

The food was really really good. Desserts were to die for. Take two sets to go. Baby love the seasonal scallops with the pumpkin.

Nice lunch place. Great service. Fish tacos and chicken plates. Both looked and tasted great. Good coffee, but full bar available. A little over 50.00 with tip but worth every cent.

Good location and nice ambiance. I recommend getting there early during weekdays and make sure to call for reservations on weekends.
This is one of the few places in Bloomington that have eclectic menu and excellent customer service!
Danielle is one the few Mixologists in town, she knows how to get a perfect, balanced blend of flavors and aromas that make drinking her cocktails an unforgettable experience!

Had the best dinner at Reality Bites per usual! Love their food, get the Mac n cheese egg rolls! Emily was an awesome server. One of my favorite places in town, highly reccomend! 😊

The bacon wrapped dates are off the chain in Jesus name. I live here in Texas now and every time I go back to visit, bacon wrapped dates is a must!

My bartender Josh was extremely formidable. He made great Mai Tai cocktail for me. Gracious and wholesome place to bring the children and grandparents. Thanks for hosting my bible study tonight!

The spring rolls are delicious 😋 The goat cheese ball salad is a unique blend of flavors & textures that work well together. The chicken breast with mashed potatoes was moist & well seasoned. I recommend Reality Bites to friends from out of town. This is a local gem!

Reality Bites is a new favorite place to eat for our family. When you walk in the door you are met with a warm welcome. The atmosphere is very nice. The waitstaff that has waited on us has been outstanding and very attentive. The spinach and artichoke dip is outstanding. Everything we have had for dinner has been amazing. My daughter had the lasagna special one night and she still talks about how good it was. I keep getting the salmon tacos have to be the best I’ve had anywhere. My son loves the jalapeño lime marinaded tacos. I’m glad we found such a great place to eat.

We grabbed lunch here and it was really good! Sarah was our server and she was really quick, and had really good recommendations! We ordered the chicken ranch wrap (super tasty and we asked for quacamole inside), the special mahi mahi tacos (they were really full of stuff and super good to share) and the chicken bits sandwich with pesto (the fries on the side are worth it!). A great place for lunch and the staff is really great!

I had a great experiance here! We sat at the bar and enjoyed our food and drinks. The owner sat next to us and even bought a round of drinks for us as well. Great place to go!

This is one of the few non-chain restaurants in Bloomington. I have eaten here hundreds of times and always had a great experience. The food is delicious, the ambience is cool, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

We had dinner last night in their outdoor eating area. It was a lovely evening and the food was absolutely perfect! The salmon was wonderful, paired with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The service is always friendly. A great place to eat anytime!!
