Holiday Inn Bloomington - Normal

Nice hotel with a restaurant and bar. Had a full hot complimentary breakfast. The king room was nice and clean, a little bit smaller than they usually are. Jasmine at the front desk was very nice, and when my phone charger wouldn't work, I asked if there were any in the lost and found that I could use, there were none. She went above and beyond, went to her car and let me use her personal charging cable! There was no reason for her to do that, but it just goes to show how wonderful and caring she is. Thanks to her, and I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice all around. They have a pool, bar, and restaurant all right there for your convenience. Rooms are very nice and clean along with the bathrooms. All are very updated and modern. There is no microwave, but there is a mini fridge. Pod coffee maker in room along with hot cocoa and bottle water. Updated heating with termastat on wall. It's definitely worth the stay.

Janet the bartender is excellent and is highly recommended to sit down and have some cocktails with dinner. She has a great personality and will accommodate everyone.

My wife and I got married here and it was amazing! They held the ceremony and reception and just completely blew us away with the decorations and coordinating. The wedding coordinator, Jamie, was amazing! Very easy to talk to, understanding, and she went out of her way to make sure we had the best day! My wife and I had many people come up to us stating it was one of the best weddings they have been too and we can say we had our dream wedding at an affordable price!

We stayed here for a conference. We arrived at 2am and were greeted by a friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was top notch the entire time, especially Sue at the front desk.

The rooms were very very clean and beds were very comfortable.

Our price was very reasonable.

We will plan to stay here again when returning.

Convenient location, nice rooms, and Janet took great care of me at the bar the entire time I was here.

Service was great. You have to pass several shabby hotels in a weird roundabout next to an apartment complex to find the hotel. The doors are a bit narrow for someone like me with a rolling tool box. Also, my room needed some trim redone where the spackle has fallen off. Overall, my favorite hotel in the area.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday inn and to my surprise was very pleased from check in to check out. All of the staff was well dressed, professional and easy to do business with. The rooms were clean and maintained during our stay with no harm to our belongings or privacy. The front desk staff was helpful in locating great food and things to do. I will be sure to book my future stays with them!

Sue was very helpful during my stay. The night Operator was especially gracious and helpful to our group. She made our stay very nice.

Finally, Finally,Finally. Finally, I have found THE Best Holiday Inn,NOT Holiday Inn Suites, &Express.

I travel HEAVLY for work throughout the year and have been to many HolidayInns.

Here is a list of issues that I have run into that MAKES this one stand out above the rest.

1. friendly staff
2. The lobby is clean and didn't smell (see pic)
3. The elevator has had a yearly inspection (see picture)
4. The elevator has a smooth ride and doesn't smell,actually clean.
5. The hall carpet is clean and has working lights. ( see pic)
6. Rooms are small and cozy,smelled fresh but CLEAN. ( see picture)
7. Bathrooms actually have working light fixtures and HOT water.
8. Vanity mirror for shaving ! Good looking out for the men !
9. The Bathroomsfixtures that are not falling off the sink or shower head.
10. King bed is very comfortable.
11. The toilet is not running throughout the night.
12. Soft touch doors that don't slam( I love it )!
13. Updated key pad for rooms.

I could go on and on, but Holiday Inn here in Bloomington / Normal WINS HANDS DOWN, in the State of Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota!

Our bathroom door wouldn’t close so the manager himself fixed it ! He’s a great guy. Breakfast was great ! Awesome servers ! The front desk people were awesome too! I think this manager is doing an amazing job keeping his employees and guests happy ! What an asset to your company!

I love coming back to this hotel! The staff over here is truly amazing and they go above and beyond to ensure that I am well taken care of. Shout out to Lauren S, Quentin, and Jamie for being extremely passionate about their jobs. Lauren in particular exemplifies what true customer service should look like! I'm thoroughly impressed with her. The rooms are well-maintained and they have great facilities on-site. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. Kudos to the entire team and keep up the good work! :-)

Rooms - The main part of the room is WONDERFUL! Bathrooms are SMALL - entryway into room is very narrow. It made me feel claustrophobic.
Service - Front Desk employee was very kind and professional. I enjoyed the breakfast, and the waitress was amazing 👏
Location - close to shopping, gas, and entertainment

My family and I checked in after 1am and the front desk agent was kind and courteous. Lobby felt modern and open, the guest room smelled fresh w/o any icky air freshener and it was clean from carpet to bathroom wall tiles, and I am quite critical as a former housekeeping manager. Comfortable beds and pillows, soft towels, very quiet despite nearby highway. Lovely hotel, would definitely stay again!

Sue at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Marsha was great with pur reservation as well! We arrived a bit early to enjoy the pool and to get acclomated to the area for our overnight visit. Rooms were clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. They have a bar there and the drinks were very good. Complimentry breakfast was vety good as well. Safe area very quiet and close to everything.

Fabulous reception from a Gentleman and a Lady at the Front Desk in the late Evening hours of May 2nd, 2022. Remarkably clean and comfortable room with a King sized bed which we could have sworn was treated with melatonin as we slept like babies until morning. The shower pressure was just right and the water temperature was easily adjustable from steaming hot to Luke-warm; whichever we desired. The complementary breakfast buffet in the dining room was presented complete with heated, roll-top chafing dishes filled with actual freshly made scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, sausage gravy and crisp diced potatoes. A freshly sliced assortment of mixed fruit was available as well in a serving dish immersed in large tub of ice as if at a banquet. A waitress circulated to ensure that everything was to our liking and offered to bring us coffee, tea, orange juice or milk.

Front staff very friendly. Room was huge and recently renovated. Bathroom was very clean and new also. Only complaint is there is no where to put your toiletries. No space on sink area unless you put in the toilet top :(

Otherwise everything was great. Staying here again in May.

Newly remodeled rooms. Comfy nice feeling. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great nights sleep. Had left overs from dinner. Used microwave downstairs to warm food up and also they gave us plates to put our food on instead of the Styrofoam containers they were in. Clean rooms bathrooms. Very polite pleasant time spent there!
