Candlewood Suites Bloomington-Normal, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is older, but management keeps the place in good order and clean. I've stayed here multiple times for work and the rooms are always clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You guys are doing a good job, keep it up. I don't pay complements freely, you have earned my praise. Thank-you.

Staff was super nice and very helpful. Very reasonable pet fee. Great little coffee bar with lots of packaged food options. Very quiet for outside-the-room noise. Comfortable bed and two types of pillows.Yes, AC is "loud" but not louder than other hotels in my experience. However the ability to leave the fan on subs for my white noise machine, so that's good. 🙂

Best place to stay at Bloomington with everything around the hotel. Good amenities and surroundings around the hotel. Just walkable distance to all marts like (Walmart, Meijer, Best buy, hotels etc..)

Wonderful place. Very clean lobby & room. Extremely comfortable bed. Cot was also comfortable. Loved the complete room set up & the ability to save money by cooking in, instead of eating out. No breakfast or maid service because it is an extended stay hotel, but if you have a need, contact the front desk and they will gladly help you. They do have an area that you can purchase food, drinks, health&beauty items, & laundry soap. Coffee& cream is free all the time. Love this place!

Had a nice stay at Candlewood Suites at Bloomington Normal. The rooms are equipped with kitchen and the basic utensils. The staff were very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

One of my favorite hotels! Great location with a lot of food options nearby. Room was clean and decent. Nice staff. The best thing is they have washers and dryers to use for free. It's great if you stay in town for a few days. They do not offer free breakfast, however. But again, Panera is like 3 min walk so it's not a big deal.

Really nice hotel! Ten minutes away from Illinois State University. The new beds were indeed comfortable with lots of pillows. Room has everything you need to make your room a home away from home. Pots, pans, even a small bottle of dish soap. The kitchen also has a microwave and dishwasher. The refrigerator has an ice maker. The bathroom has the usual shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, face/body soap and hair dryer. Inside the closet are the iron, ironing board, and a laundry basket. On the first floor there is a fitness center with 3-4 treadmills. Next to the fitness center is a laundry room. Next to the check-in area is a small convenience store with water, soda pop and snacks. Be careful when you arrive, there is only one entrance to the hotel and it's not right at the hotel. Also be aware they will put a small pending charge on your card for incidentals if you've paid for your room through a third party service like Expedia. Oh yeah, air conditioning works amazing!

We weren't in the hotel all that much. We stayed one night, and had zero problems. Everything went smoothly checking in and out. The room was very nice. I didn't know what the amenities were before I walked in. We didn't use anything outside of the ice maker but it definitely would've been nice had we stayed longer.

They accommodated our 3 dogs and a cat when we needed a place to stay after we had a house fire. We were here for 24 days and it was very relaxing. The free business area, laundry, and workout room was great. Wonderful place for animals!

I love staying at the Candlewood Suites, the rooms and over all appearance of the hotel is very clean. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. The value for the stay is great. I highly recommend staying at this location

This place has more of an apartment feel then a hotel. It does have a gym and laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers to suit your needs. It even has this thing called a lending locker which you can borrow items like board games, blenders, slow cookers, etc. My room I got came with a climate control thermostat, small glass top stove with two small burners with a digital turn on/off and lock, a full sized refrigerator with a normal freezer, dishwasher, microwave, sink with disposal and a drain plug, a small coffee pot, a toaster, plastic glassware, tupperware, silverware, two dishwasher tablets, a tv, a fluffy bed, full bathroom, closet, full computer desk with a dresser built in, a computer chair, and a recliner. It's not a bad place either. They have an indoor pool I didn't use and free wifi. The people there seem very friendly.

The hotel was located in the shopping district; a short 10 minute drive from Illinois State University. Parking was easy and the hotel had an elavator.
The hotel room has a kitchenette compete with a full-sized fridge, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave, pots, pans, plates, dishes, utensils, glassware, kitchen towels, hot pad, and dish soap.
The room had two beds each with 4 pillows and a large decorative pillow. Both myself and my daughter found the beds to be very comfortable. There were adequate sheets and a comforter on the beds.
The shower had adequate water pressure and temperature.
The room was big with a large flat screen tv, computer table, two chairs, and an easy chair that when you leaned back had a foot rest.
The room had an iron and ironing board, hangers, and a coat closet.
WiFi was fast.
There was a complimentary laundry room in which the use of the washers and dryers were free. Laundry detergent was not included but available for purchase in the little corner store at the hotel.
The workout room had a weight machine, free weights, an elliptical, treadmill, stationary bike, fan, tv, and sweat towels. The water cooler was in the laundry room which was attached to the exercise room.
The local paper was complimentary.
Coffee, bananas, and apples were free. Other food items, frozen items, beverages, and comfort items were available for purchase in the corner store.
The hotel staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

For the price, this room was incredibly nice. Comfortable bed, a small kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, plates, tupperware. I would definitely stay there again. A seriously excellent value.

Location is great, in the middle of downtown Bloomington. Definitely catering to the extended stay guests. Laundry is on the facility and the room is great with all appliances you would think of needing included.

Rooms are nice, and pretty clean. The amenities with the kitchenette, the laundry, and the workout room is excellent. The staff I've met so far is friendly.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. I literally have no complaints. The rooms are huge, the AC is ice cold, and the location is great. Definitely won me over. I will be staying at this hotel everytime I am Bloomington.

The staff is very attentive. Great for extended stays, the rooms include kitchenettes. The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable and is located close to a Panera Bread, Sonic, and Walmart.

I always feel right at home when staying at Candlewood Suites but the staff that keep Candlewood - Bloomington up & running are Just Great in ALL areas of customer service. They are always extremely polite and eager to please... CANDLEWOOD IS MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!

The standard room has twin beds. A kitchenette with an oven, stove and microwave with a well stocked cabinet. Beautiful and spacious room with all HD satellite tv. Highly recommended.
