Eric’s Too Family Restaurant and Lounge

This is our first time here. The food was so good. Our waiter was fantastic. This was the best burrito I have had in years. My wife had the ribs. She said they were really good. You should give this place a try. Prices are good for the food.

Service was wonderful! Food was great and a fair price. One server was running the whole show as far as I could tell. We got a chicken wrap (not my favorite) and a Philly cheesesteak (amazing!).

On a road trip. Not sure what we were hungry for…. Hotels Concierge's recommendation was spot on. We chose Lasagna and Fajitas but there was so many more choice. Food was all fresh and good. Server was friendly and knowledgeable food served hot and quickly.

I've been to the four corners of this planet. This is hands down the absolute best full rack of ribs I've ever eaten. Clearly slow roasted, the ultra ultra thick ribs fell off the bones perfectly. The decor and menu looks simple and modest, but if you are the kind of person that likes to discover hidden mom and pop gems, definitely gives these ribs a try. The mexi rice was delicious, both spongy and a little bit al dente. Whomever is handling the prep and cooking puts TLC into the cooking and it shoes. The chips and salsa were interesting. The salsa has a bite! loved it. The chips were quadruple fried it seems, they were delicate, crispy and plenty of oil. It isn't for anyone watching their cholesterol, but it was tasty.

LOVE THE PLACE. I stayed in the Ramada Inn and I got told Eric’s is a good place for some decent food. Upon arriving the owner Eric showed me my seat, pored me a drink and gave me the time to look at the menu.

I ordered the What a Burger and it was actually a decent burger served with salad, pickles, mustard, jalapeños and fries.

Very good burger, nice and juicy and overal in my opinion great burger for the money it costs.

The owner Eric is really open and after lunch we talked for a few hours about his heritage, his family and he introduced me to his son who was responsible for the delicious burger.

We had a long talk about food, cooking and overal just a great and amazing guy.

Me as a European traveler traveling the USA felt at home at the place, the way the owner talks with his customers feels like long time friendship and overal 5 stars deserved.

Eric take care and we see each other again in 2023.

Randy greeted us and we chose a booth. He has such a bubbly attitude. He brought us drinks and we asked about the 1/2 rack rib special. He highly recommended and we heard they were good. We really enjoyed and glad we ordered. So much meat and great sauce. It was a win win with great service and food.

It's a great place for Mexican food. The staff is vary friendly for someone who is a little rough around the edges. The bar atmosphere is perfect for the late night crowd.

Came in got my best lashes from waitress great service and excellent food try the burrito best eve.

We stopped at Eric's restaurant on our way to Missouri and the food was great!! All 4 of us had no complaints with our food. Eric was outgoing an a good waiter!

Very nice place to eat. A little hard to find as it's in an odd location. Was right next to The Country Inn that I stayed at. Food was made fresh. I ordered the Chicken Parmasan and my boyfriend ordered the Spaghetti and both dishes were good. You get what you pay for. The waitress and cook were very friendly and held a conversation very well. Will stop here again when I'm in the area.

Best place I’ve eaten at in Bloomington/Normal. Eric is awesome, the staff is very personable and the food is great! They have a lot of specials but I love the Mexican food. Homemade hot sauce and the burritos, enchiladas and a Mexican egg rolls are the best! Highly recommended

The smothered chicken is great! My wife got the chicken stir fry and said hers was great as well.

It is a real shame this place has to limit its hours and menu because they can't find more employees. Everyone is hiring now and everyone needs help. This place is one of the last full menu family restaurants. The food is great! The atmosphere is friendly. You may not get what we ordered because we were lucky to get to order from their regular menu.

The seats are comfy and well spaced. We sat in the dining room instead of the bar area.

The worst part was the ability to get there off the interstate. We wouldn't have known it was there if we didn't check into a nearby hotel. Business would be much better if there was more traffic through there. But that is good for people looking for a restaurant out of the way and quiet.

The meals range between $10-25. We ate for $50 for a sandwich with a salad and a regular dinner. We each had one adult beverage too. And that included the tip. Dinner was filling and we didn't need dessert.

This place would be missed if it closed. Check it out before it does!

Best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. Service was outstanding

Surprised they had liver and onions on special. OMG! Yummy. Served with homemade smashed potatoes and gravy, corn with melted butter and a faint garlic flavor. So good. Eric seated us, was patient as we were calling people to come and eat. They showed up at different times and Eric was very accommodating. Very clean, organized, got our food hot and everything on the table was homemade.

The food at Eric's is absolutely amazing. The Best breakfast in Bloomington! The bar is very welcoming . Nice place to relax with a drink after work.
Eric the owner is very hands on and always has a smile on his face.

We went to Erick's Too because it was across the parking lot from our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the food. My wife had the lasagna and I had the beef tacos. The lasagna was great and there was a generous portion. My tacos were different than I expected, served open faced so I had to fold them but they were really good. Plenty to eat even without the beans and rice. The beer was cold and the service was excellent. Eric came over to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. Will definitely stop at Eric's the next time we go through Bloomington, IL.

Was on the road passing through. Found the place. Very good food and service. When we travel back through the area. We will stop by again.
