I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 2+ years. It’s always good vibes and positive energy. Most importantly, my barber Keem Styles gets me right every time!

Prices a bit higher than the average haircut, but it's absolutely worth it. The barbers take their time and it's clear they know what they're doing. They're very dedicated to their craft and they do a phenomenal job. Barbers are friendly and very skilled. It's very worth it to spend a few extra dollars to get the perfect haircut

Drew was amazing. I had a prior appt today at another barber shop in town on empire, however that barber was not present or contacted me to inform me. I should have listened to the reviews about that place. Moving on...as I was in the parking lot of the barber shop...I was simultaneously looking for other barbers. Well I found one that said uptown, and that's where I drove. I was more than satisfied. I was amazed with the barber Drew. He was so professional, detail oriented, kind, and gentle while cutting my head. My head left in a state of perfection. And the best part is that you could tell that he truly enjoyed what he was doing. Thanks Drew for also taking me as a walk-in. He has a new customer in me.

I scheduled an appt with Sean. He got me immediately on what I wanted and got it done quickly. Definitely will be coming here again.

Best experience! King Kay is an artist and not a barber. I have had thick beard and long hair. He listened to us and did exactly what we asked for. I am not very demanding honestly but he didn’t give a reason to stop and ask him what I wanted. He understood the first time what I wanted to look like after the hair cut and beard trim. Great work!!!

Uptown Barbershop is perfect!! I have been to many barbershops. I am very picky about my hair. Uptown has a very professional crew and they take care of their guests. I always look forward to my next hair cut. I go to Keem who does an amazing job with my hair. But it doesn’t stop there. The other barbers are cool too! Just take your pick and you won’t be disappointed! With the fun conversation about life, sports and more, it’s an experience you cannot miss! After my cut, I am ready to schedule my next!

This is my new favorite place for a haircut in bloomington, hands down. It's a casual atmosphere, relaxed, friendly, and these guys have delivered an incredible, quality haircut every time I've gone!

I usually deliver for Amazon to surrounding areas on campus even this Barbershop. It was time to freshen up the ugly mug so I tried Uptown out and this was by far the best barbershop I've been too. Haircut was above and beyond from being on point and I'm picky about my fades. Walked out looking like I was fresh out the womb!

This place deserves more then 5 stars! They took my son as a walk in today. They fixed my baby's hair after a horrible hair cut at great clips! (I kno, idk what I was thinking lol) I'm not from the area and my childrens father is away at "college" 😂 he recommended Uptown and I will never take my son anywhere else again! The vibe is great, both guys were super friendly and welcoming. My son didn't cry one time. Which is huge because he's never around men. I'm 100% satisfied.

Drew was my barber for my previous visit, and he was excellent! Very personable and gave me the best cut I’ve had in a long time! Check them out!

I moved to normal IL and I struggled to find a barbershop like I had in Chicago. I literally went through like 5 barbers before I found Uptown Barbershop. These guys are real and great barbers. The store is always clean and the experience is always. If you want a real and quality barbershop please go to these guys.

Great place, very friendly staff. Took us as a walk in which was very nice of them. Great fade cut for my son, he loves it! My son was happy with how they took their time to do a great cut and fade. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Great barbershop friendly staff and great barbers. I would highly recommend but make sure you make an appointment because they are busy. Keem is one of the best barber's around.

Probably the best barber in normal. If you dont make an appointment you might be in for a long but then again that's probably because they are the best in Normal in my opinion
