Holiday Inn Express Bloomington West, an IHG Hotel

Everyone was perfect and accommodating. LUIS at the front desk...was amazing!! We are not an easy crew to have as guests. They all did great!! Food in the morning...super clean, just all good. Highly recommend!

Close to quite a few restaurants but not too close to be overly crazy. Alexanders Steak house is a must if hungry 💝

Rooms are clean and comfirtable, especially for the reasonable price. Front desk staff were extremely kind.

The room we stayed in had a huge hole in the bathroom door and instead of fixing it, they shoved a wash cloth in the door. Other than that the room was nice, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was yummy!

I love how friendly all the workers are here. Best hotel I've ever been to. It was clean throughout the whole building, smelled clean. Yhe manager, cleaners, all workers were just nice, down to earth, and welcoming. Wish all hotels were like this.

I was locked out of my room due to a key/door error.
The women with short purple hair at the front Desk worked tirelessly to make sure that I gained Entry into my room. I believe She may have been the only employee working at the time and she made several calls, assisted me with getting another room, and even got on the floor with a screw driver trying help me access my room!!! She even broke into a sweat and apologized profusely while trying to resolve the issue!!!!! The maintenance man who was off tried to assist her over the phone. When that didn’t work someone came in that wasn’t scheduled to work to assist to resolve the issue. I was Provided a different room while waiting and reimbursed for the inconvenience. I was impressed with the professionalism offered by this hotel despite staff shortages and tending to other customers

The room was modern and clean and had great air conditioning. The beds were very comfortable and felt brand new. The breakfast food was great with a nice variety of foods: veggie omelettes, sausage, a pancake maker, muffins, yogurt, and juice. Everything was fresh and tasty and the perfect fuel to start our day. Helpful and friendly staff as well. A+ would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel! Exceptionally clean. Late-night check-in was fast, and that’s what you want late at night! From the front desk we walked to the elevators past the beautiful, clean pool and steamy hot tub. Excellent, comfortable lobby with great seating and free breakfast. Room had some nice details like huge luxurious shower head, and end tables on both sides of the bed, Coffee maker in the room. Friendly staff at night and in the morning. Great stay!

Our room was comfortable and clean. No frills but none needed. As a traveling musician with a band to feed, I’m all about the complementary breakfast in the morning and Holiday Inn did not disappoint. From 6-9:30a, omelette’s, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and of course coffee are available. The food was hot and the spread had something for everyone.

Overall, this hotel is a little dated but cleanliness and staff helpfulness were all first class. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Holiday Inn Express Bloomington IL provided comfort and cleanliness for our one night in town. All members of the staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early. This hotel has a pool and hot tub, so we were able to enjoy these to ourselves in the early afternoon! The breakfast was plentiful & attendants were on hand to make sure you had what you needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I slept very well here.

Upon arrival we were greeted and checked in promptly by the front desk staff. Very friendly and helpful, also supplied us with complimentary bottles water. The room was spacious and clean, with comfy beds and pillows! It was a nice cozy hotel in the midst of a very cold evening. Breakfast was great, with variety of options. Eggs, sausage, turkey sausage, mini veggie egg white omelette, toast, English muffins, bagels, yogurt, cereal juice. Everything you need, with a fancy automatic pancake maker to boot! We would definitely return to this Holiday Inn!

The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. They provided us with a late check out. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rooms were incredibly clean .. probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Fitness center was a nice perk. We highly recommend.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Bloomington West for the second time this past weekend, and I continue to be impressed. The location is perfect, with easy access to town, but far enough away to not get stuck in traffic. It also has immediate access to I-74 so getting to and from the hotel is quick and easy.

The complimentary coffee is a standout for me, since hotel coffee is traditionally pretty mediocre. This was full flavored and tasty, and attention to little details like this really help to set Holiday Inn Express apart.

I didn't swim or hot tub this trip, but one thing that impressed me very much was that walking past the pool area there was no splashed water on the tile and no heavy chlorine smell. I saw kids in the hotel using the pool when I checked in, and expected to have to splash my way to the elevator, but everything was clear.

We stayed here because of previous positive stays at various Holiday Inn Express. Everything was nice in the room and the lobby, but the service was fantastic. Truly every interaction with staff was great. Cleaning lady found me in the parking lot, I'd left something behind by mistake. Morning desk people helped me back in my room. Awkward. Most of all was Hecter. Overnight front desk guy, he was the BEST. Thanks again Hecter. Sorry it took 2 months for this review.

My family came to visit and stayed at this hotel. We went swimming in the pool and used the hot tub. Both were empty at the time and seemed clean and the right temperature. Someone came in while we were there and replenished towels before they were empty as well as changing out a garbage can. The rooms themselves were clean and modern looking with tasteful decorations. If I didn't live here, I'd stay at this hotel!

Ihg happened to cook her in the wrong Bloomington, luckily they were able to refund the fee. This was the right one and was nominally full but they managed to get me into a king suite that was down for maintenance due to a lock that did not always unlock. I did not plan to leave so it was ok with me. Front desk said they were due for a remodel this year and I really cannot wait to see it. The choices made last time they remodeled were still pretty nice looking. I cannot say I have seen this carpet it lights at very many other locations.... Worth stopping by.

I don't travel often. I come to this Holiday Inn once or twice a year because I have family that live in Bloomington. I'm always happy. The room is always clean, the staff always pleasant. And the pool & hot tub are practically empty. There are other (many) choices closer to where my family live but I always choose to stay here. Conveniently right off of 55, and a quick 5 min drive into town.

Had a few nights off during a big tour. Decided to stay here for a few nights and would come stay again anytime. Very comfortable room. King Size bed was great with a good breakfast in the morning.

It was a great location right off the freeway, with a steak and shake right next door open late. It was a $10 Uber ride to a downtown bar for a couple drinks. Nice pool and hot tub and workout room. I'll be back again. Also good mini fridge in the room!

Holiday Inn is always reliable with a fast check in.

First of all when you pull into the hotel you notice it is in a very good neighborhood. Lots of places to eat are very close by.

Checking in was a breeze. Not problems and the front desk person was very friendly and professional.

The room was very large with a business area which was great for me since i work on the road. Plus the room was very clean.

I was stuck on the road between performances as a traveling comedian and this hotel really saved me! If you're ever anywhere in the area, this is the place to go. It's quiet and clean and the staff is great. There is a grocery store nearby, a 24-hour Steak N' Shake, as well as easy access to buses. Also, maybe weird to add, but the vending machines were impressively stocked. Also, I was able to do my laundry and print something out at the office in the lobby! Thanks guys!
