My husband needed to buy a suit and the menswear staff was absolutely amazing. He had some issues with the process and the staff were incredibly accommodating to his situation. He left very happy. I shop at Von Maur frequently and have always had good experiences. They are one of the few places around with old fashioned values and customer service.🌺 Also, I LOVE the piano!!!

My experience working with Von Maur to purchase a mother-of-the-groom dress for my son’s wedding was excellent! From the lovely selection of gorgeous gowns, to choosing the right dress for the occasion, the Von Maur staff was delightful every step of the way.

Chanel cheerfully helped both my friend and I on our initial visit to the Normal, IL Von Maur in December of 2022. Although I didn't find my dress on that day, Chanel assisted us, sharing her knowledge and complementary opinions of each of the few styles we liked. She encouraged me to come back soon because new dresses come in weekly. (Chanel took us to lingerie and showed several great options for my friend's dress. She also took us to shoes and pointed out a few possibilites to try on with the dress. Chanel went over and beyond which we appreciated and my friend found shoes that day too.)

Early in March, I took an overnight trip to Moline, IL and found myself with some shopping time at the Von Maur in SouthPark Mall. I headed to the formal dress department and there it was! I knew the style that I wanted after trying on dresses in Normal. My size was not on the rack but I tried the dress on that was closest to my size and knew instantly that it was the dress I desired. Linda was helping in dresses that day; she assured me that she could locate the dress in my size and have it shipped free to my home. Any alterations could be done at the Normal Von Maur which was only 45 minutes from my home. Later, Linda took the time to call me and let me know that she had located and completed the ordering process and for me to expect delivery within a week.

The dress was delivered to my home four days later. I took it and my shoes back to Normal where Chanel attentively called Miriam from alterations. Miriam was sweet and knowledgeable offering several alteration options. The hemming of my dress was complimentary. I received a phone call from Miriam within 7-10 days letting me know the alterations were finished.

I was thrilled that my dress fit perfectly. I received many compliments on it at the wedding and was quick to tell that I had found it at Von Maur and what a tremendous selection they carry.

Thank you to these exceptional Von Maur employees: Chanel, Linda and Miriam. I am grateful for each of you who helped make this joyful occasion so pleasant.

I Buy a lot of clothes from here. Great selection of nicer more upscale clothes and shoes, lots of items most stores dont carry. The Staff are always super helpful and have great recommendations. Store is clean and easy to navigate.

Incredibly pleased! I couldn’t find a dress for an upcoming fundraiser in Peoria, so I headed to Von Maur in Bloomington. Very impressed with their customer service & selection. I was greeted immediately upon entering the building. The staff directed me to the appropriate department & introduced me to the sales staff. Barb was incredible! Very informative & helpful! Checked on me several times, was professional & insightful. She managed several customers all at the same time. Found a dress I was happy with & was surprised at the reasonable price! I would highly recommend this business. Interesting to note, the other two parties looking for dresses were from out of town as well...Peoria & Springfield!

Came in and Barb had an outfit pulled together under very stressful circumstances. She had worked with the client for years and knew exactly what she would want. Barb was so kind and always went beyond for the client over the years. Both Barb and Linda were so special to us on this day.

Had a wonderful time with Bonnie picking out my wedding jewelry. She was so helpful in the process and patient while I was deciding. It was a really great experience!

Found a very nice birthday gift for my daughter. Great selection of jewelry and very helpful employees. They even wrapped the present for free. I recommend this store to others.

I needed to exchange a blouse for my wife. The help was great. Was in and out in 10 minutes. My wife now loves her new top. And it looks GREAT! Store was very clean and neat.

My husband and I went to Von Maur today so we could finish Christmas shopping. I'm so happy we went when we did ☺.
We met the nicest, most friendly and helpful lady in the men's department's. She found us in the Under Amour section, our youngest two grandsons wear that brand. So of course we want to buy them what they like!! This wonderful person showed us everything the store had in this brand. Soon we found all the items we were shopping for ☺
There were no lines at the registers, lots of parking, the wrapping lines were busy, and the wait was not that bad. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and kind.

Wow! This is what a department store was like when they were nice 👌. This is a gem, attentive service, great options for shopping, great deals. Great place to shop and spend money! Well worth the experience!

Great place to shop for all members of the family. Friendly staff who know their merchandise well. Comfortable sitting area to rest or for men to wait. Grand piano. Live person playing most of the time. Always a relaxing experience.

Beth Halsey is The Best !! I had approximately 1/2 hour to find a bra, out of towner on the way to airport, it's been forever to go bra shopping, and we all know it's right up there with swim suit shopping..ugh Beth was a delight and kept bringing in bra's to try on, I think around 30?? I scored with 2 new bra's Yeah..So Happy and with Beth the encounter was The Best Bra Shopping I have ever experienced!!!

I so enjoy shopping at Von Maur. I've been shopping there for almost thirty years. It is one of the last bastions of service and quality. It is well staffed with helpful people. The clothes are amazing. I highly recommend them for an excellent shopping experience.

Excellent shopping experience. Nice selection. Pleasant staff in all departments. I shop the stores because I don't want to lose them to the online outfits. This particular store is one of the reasons we can't afford to have department stores go by the wayside !

Von Maur is the kind of store you can go to and relax and look. The clerks don't get pushy but let you know they are there to help you. If you are walking around with something to try on they will start a dressing room for you. The merchandise is quality and displays are enticing. Often there is relaxing piano music played live. As you walk around the store clerks smile and speak to you. That is why Von Maur is my favorite place to shop.

This is my favorite department store! The customer service is unmatched!
