El Tequila

I had no idea this unassuming restaurant was so good...I drove by it so many times... My daughter ordered the sopa de pollo and it was extremely flavorful and the portion was good. The fajitas were great! We asked for hot sauce and they brought out this obviously house made sauce that was so delicious. Clearly the salsa and refried beans were house made too and were very good. Everything was at the right temperature and the servicece was great too. We will be back.

Super, nice quite place to have 'out of the norm' dinner. The chips and salsa before dinner were 'ok more out of the bag and bottle....' but the meal itself and the wait staff (who I had) was superb!

Very fast service for take out and the price was good also. The food is very nice and fresh! Try it! Was my first time here. Will be back. I deliver to the Sherwin-Williams store across the street.

Service and food is always great. So much authentic Mexican food to choose from. Below is a genuine tamale. I’m taking this home for later. Too full right now.

So we came in and were taken aback by how cool this place is. Like the chairs are all super dope, I know that sounds strange but like they are functional pieces of art. Food was fresh, fast and super delicious. The salsas taste like they could have been plucked from the garden this morning. Service was delightful and we will be coming back (as frequently as possible)

Had an absolutely wonderful lunch on Friday, Nov 26th, 2021. The lunch version of the Alambre was so flavorful. The server was very attentive, food was served so quickly. We were planning to go to one of the chains in Augusta for steak, they were too busy and this was a windfall for us! So glad we stopped for a great lunch, ambiance was good, the food and service excellent! Can't recommend strongly enough. Support this local restaurant.

This place is fantastic if you like authentic Mexican cuisine. Not only that. The atmosphere is all there too. The food was fabulous and the wait staff was great. I left a hefty tip. People, you really gotta get out there and try this place. Don't be shy. Put them on the map so they stay. And yes they have take out. I'm not sure about delivery but there is door dash , and all that. I'm sure you can get it delivered. Also kids menu...

This is our go to Mexican Restaurant in Brunswick! My husband and I have only been able to order take out so far but have had zero complaints and our food is always delicious and fresh. Went inside this most recent time to pick-up our order and the inside is clean and welcoming! The patio looks great too with a high privacy wall to shield from road. Can't wait to dine in!

Thank you for having authentic Mexican cuisine! Best Mexican food I've had since moving here from Texas! Waitress was very sweet and attentive! Great atmosphere! The only complaint I have would be to maybe have some music or the TV or some kind of sound in the background.

My husband and I have delivered El Tequila numerous times through Doordash and decided to try it ourselves, finally! And boy, let me say we were not disappointed! Food was quick, very fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, their staff is so kind and amazing. New favorite restaurant!

Wanted to give this restaurant a try. Having been born and raised in Texas, with most of my time In San Antonio, I am partial to good Mexican.

Waking in we were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant is festive, and very clean. Great drink menu, with plenty of choices for margaritas. Chips and salsa immediately upon being seated. A plus! We ordered the guacamole. We loved it. For entrees, by wife ordered the combo beef and chicken fajitas. She said they were out of this world. I have the enchiladas Del Mar. Plenty of crab and shrimp rolled in corn tortilla with a creamy, not to heavy sauce. So tasty, and sorry no leftovers. What a great addition to Augusta! A must try!!

2 of us came here @ lunchtime to dine in. I've eaten here 2 or 3 other times. Each time a different meal, each time was amazing! This visit was no different, as far as their food tasting amazing! The main issue I had this visit was that we were seated for over 10 min & noone had come 2 our table 2 get our drink orders/apps. Once our food orders were in, we did not wait very long b4 we were served. I tried the Texanas fajitas this time & was amazed @ the flavors & the overall amount of food. All the enchiladas are all delicious as well! This is a great cozy restaurant with delicious food at a reasonable price! I would recommend this restaurant 2 anyone!

The food has been great. We are new to the Augusta area and don’t go out to eat often. The service is friendly, prompt, and the food is authentic and fresh. We’ve gotten take out twice and it’s been super delish. We recommend El Tequila for sure.

I love it. Very authentic mexican. The music and vibe is nice. They serve your food very hot. I love the cast iron dish your meat comes out on. My wife and I have been a few times.We will definitely go more

UPDATE: They listened to everyone's chip suggestions and they are much better.

There are kinks to be worked out as there are with every newly opened restaurant but the food is so delicious I had it for two nights in a row. The cheese dip is delicious, the rice is amazing! The only constructive suggestion I have is regarding the homemade chips. Some were overly crunchy while others were overly chewy. Even then I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Mexican food

The food here was great. I can't believe this place wasn't packed. Service was quick, food came out quick, bathrooms were clean. Zero complaints. I highly recommend it if you're looking for good Mexican food.

By far the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Everything is very fresh and you can tell the vegetables are freshly chopped. Chunky and delicious guacamole. The El Texano nachos are excellent and a huge portion. The guys in the kitchen definitely know what they're doing. This is now my default restaurant.

First time eating here. Took my daughter out for lunch/dinner. The waitress was great! The food was delish! The portions were large, had to take most home. We will come back!
