It is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST honey!! i have tea imported directly from China and add this honey to hot, or to iced tea and it is wonderful. i add it to smoothies and on toast! i buy it when I travel to have with me! Worth every dime! Wish it was sold in Newport, Pittsfield and Bangor stores.

The only Hannaford I go to. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Lady in the produce section went out of her way to find a bag of spinach out back for me when I didn’t even ask. The employees make grocery shopping a pleasant experience.

Much bigger than the other Hannaford in town, so it has a bit better of a selection, particularly when it comes to baked goods from the bakery, hot food, and meats. We of course always enjoy the Hannaford quality, selection, and prices compared to Shaw's, so it's worth the journey.

Nice clean store. Good selections most of the time. Only negatives: salad/deli areas always full of product in boxes, hard to get to product; empty shopping carts have trash left in them; baggers don't always put perishables in my insulated bags. Positives: friendly cashiers, they open new ones when they see lines forming; very clean and well organized;nice wide aisles; fair prices. My favorite store for groceries.

One of the nicest and cleanest Hannafords around. They have a really cool spot to relax and sit down too!

It's Hannaford. It's great. It's always well stocked and the crew is awesome. Hadn't been here in years, but the store is well run and the meat department is fantastic. They have cuts of meat that you may not find elsewhere. A well cut, well marbled NY Strip for under $11. Yeah, you should check it out. When in town, I always go here. And you never have to bag your own groceries. I hate working for free...

Very well organized and love the fact they have an area you can sit and charge your devices. The employees and service managers and shift leaders are amazing.

Loved shopping here. Not happy about the mask police, but fear drives people to do strange things.

Okay, the beginning was back in 2021, so now an update in December 2023. The place is much better than when Covid was around. This is a better Hannaford!!!

I haven't seen cafe seating with outlets and wifiin a grocery store in 10 years and with a TV never. I love this Hannaford with in season plants for sale and a mailbox. Coming from South Portland the Maine Mall doesn't have a mailbox, let alone a stamp machine and the main PO in South Portland isn't a proper PO with box rentals.

We got fresh stir fry and sushi at Whitten Road in Augusta and and drove to the park by the Kennebec River and near Cony Hannaford to eat it! Yummy!

We stopped into Hannaford for a couple of last minute gifts. Who Christmas shops at Hannaford? I do, and they had exactly what I was looking for, a great selection of gift cards. The woman at the check was very friendly as well, made the shopping experience enjoyable.

It was very busy here this morning but it's also Saturday morning. I came here to buy a few groceries for myself and my sister too. The prices are still going higher as I buy the same items I've been buying weekly.

I was in that store on Sunday 8/15 and the store had lost half of its coolers from deli to meat, however there was close to 15 employees running back and forth from out back to ensure the customers had everything they needed. They did it politely and with a smaller and when it was time to check out the registers were all up and running and the baggers and cashiers were very friendly and pleasant. Best customer service I have seen in quite some time and will do my shopping there now instead of gardiner. Great management and it shows in your employees.

Whitten Road Hannaford is a large store and tends to be a bit crowded, especially on weekends and around 5 pm. The store is spacious but check out registers are a choke point and lines there can be long. Service staff are helpful and work efficiently. Product selection is adequate with fresh produce and butcher counter being highlights. Weekly sale flyer is released online Thursdays and in print on Saturday to help plan your shopping. Prices are competitive with other local markets but higher than local big box department store. Shop the bargains and pay attention to unit price and you can save money here. Service and convenient parking gives this store the edge and make this my market of choice in Augusta.

Almost always fast checkout and aside from supply side issues they still have all the staples. I just made another trip, some dairy, on certain days are in short supply... Aside from that still great store!

Had a really good bagger today. Some days they are terrible. The cleanest bathroom I have ever been in a Hannaford store or any public place for a long time. Just a great experience

Always great variety, great value, and great looking produce. Shelves are always stocked, and associates are always around to help. They have a sushi bar, soup bar, and more. No matter what diet you're on or what kind of food you like, they will have something for you.
