I'm not from the area but I saw they had walnut shrimp and decided to stop by after work and treat myself.. I got the salt and pepper fish as well as the walnut shrimp.. absolutely the best I've had in years.. even better than Chinatown in Boston where I usually go, and free parking... very friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in the door. Will definitely be back!!

I live in the Boston but hike out in the burbs and I'm so glad I found place. I got a happy family or something similar but couldn't get over the variety of vegetables in the delicious dish. I also enjoyed some appetizers which were also delightful. I can't really speak to the atmosphere as I walked in in my food was food ready. I will definitely come back!

Every time I order food is amazing even the next day! Best spot in the area and I 100% recommend. I always get the Orange chicken with pork fried rice, beef teriyaki and crab rangoon.

Silk road bistro is under new ownership. After hearing so many positive reviews, I decided to check them out.
I ordered a few basics. Wonton soup, beef chow yoke combination, mini dumplings, and pork moo shi.
Everything was very fresh and delicious. I will definitely be returning to try more menu items.
At this time they are doing take out/ delivery only.

I don’t normally give reviews but this is my favorite chinese restaurant so far. We waited less than 10 minutes for our order PLUS the staff is super nice and friendly. I would recommend everyone to come here.

Came here after a web search, and was thoroughly impressed with the food. The owner does his own cooking, almost always a great sign, because it conveys a passion for creating delicious meals.
We ordered house special rice, the Szechuan Chili Bomb (it comes very spicy, and plenty of cilantro), and the Salt and Pepper Calamari. The latter was not on the regular menu, but was listed on the whiteboard at the front, and was a wonderful change from the way calamari is usually prepared (circular pieces), and had a wonderful crunch and flavor (we ordered it extra spicy and were not disappointed).
It's a small restaurant; not ideal for a larger group, but quiet and clean, inexpensively priced,with very fresh and meticulously crafted food. Overall an impressive experience, with the added benefit of having leftover food to enjoy later. We will be back soon to try other dishes!

Was really surprised by this restaurant food for take out, ordered basil fried rice spicy (chicken), Veg lo mein, and chicken fried rice
Good flavours, big portions, neatly packed, and in a budget too 👍👍, will definitely recommend others to try the food here.

I only have good things to say about Silk Road.

1) The owner Tony is the MAN! Nicest owner I've met during covid and more owners should strive to be like him.

2) Not only am I coming back for more but ALL of my coworkers are after recommending this chinese deliciousness to them.

3) Even if it says the restaurant is closed. Give them a ring per owner Tony, if he's there, he'll cook for you! Now THATS SERVICE!

Silk road has a personal feel and the owner who is the cook is passionate about his work. This is exuded throughout the whole environment including the waitresses.

Exceptional restaurant!!

First time order togo here, their basil fried rice is outstanding! They are very welcoming, punctual and the foods taste amazing. I would recommend them to use bigger paper container on small orders though. Overall, love it.

I have a hard time with MSG, and easy trigger for a 3 day migraine. I love Chinese food, but not worth losing 3 days of my life.
Enter SILK ROAD BISTRO, one call and a great conversation with chef/owner who happily explained to me what I could order that already has very little or no MSG and what dishes by default of MSG being in the ingredients, could never be MSG free. He promised me “ don’t worry, your family is safe in my hands”
I was honestly pleasantly surprised at the time he took to speak with me and the care he put into making my family’s dinner.
We ordered 2 dinners, Orange Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein, both with pork fried rice and appetizers. It tasted fantastic! It was hot and fresh and delicious!
I am happy to report we all felt fantastic the next day, no headache, no heartburn …and they gave us so much we had leftovers the next day!
I will be a regular here for sure!

I’ve probably tried every Chinese food place in the area and this is by far the best. I’ve never been disappointed with any of the food. It’s fresh and full of flavor. The owner is super nice. My kids have allergies and he was so patient and thorough going over ingredients. This is now a favorite in our rotation of take out.

My Daughter & I were lucky to find this restaurant. The owner was very fun and friendly. He made wonderful suggestions on our meal choices! We had crabmeat Rangoon, chicken fried rice with basil & orange beef. All great and even better later in evening!

The lady that took my order was so polite. Her customer service skill is top notch. The food tasted amazing and I was even surprised and impressed at the how the food was packaged( I ordered a takeout). I will be coming back. I highly recommend this spot to everyone. Amazing

Okay let me start by saying me and my husband drove 40 mins to try this restaurant based on the great reviews. We love asian food!!!. We were blown away by how delicious and fresh the food was. I ordered beef and broccoli with house special fried rice and spring roll. It was soooo GOOD, and Oh my goodness the BEST SPRING ROLL EVER!!!! Definitely worth the drive!!! I was also so impressed by how nice the owner was as well, he even established a conversation with us and made us feel so welcomed.. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back to try more from the menu 😁

We ordered using the app. Based on the reviews online we knew that the wait would be a little long, and that was correct. But the people who work there were very nice, and apologetic. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried multiple things; the cashew chicken, the beef and broccoli, and the garlic noodles. Everything was a hit. Even our toddler loved it. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend ordering from there. Just make sure to give yourself extra time for your order to be ready.

Once again we tried a place in Marlborough we have never been to before. Very small quaint setting and very clean. We only got takeout but would have no problem eating inside.

We used to get Chinese food at another restaurant up the street and got very disenchanted with them. We actually haven't had Chinese for a while because of this.

I would highly recommend everyone try this place for excellent Chinese cuisine in my opinion.

We didn't get appetizers this time but was persuaded by the chef explaining their process and will try them on our next visit.
We got several different items from the menu and they were all very good.

We will be going back and this will be our go to place for Chinese cuisine moving forward.

Great food and allergy safe! I have a severe sesame allergy which can be challenging considering sesame oil is used in a lot of Asian cooking. They were great and very accommodating, made me feel comfortable. On a Friday night at 6pm said our food would be ready in 10 minutes and it was, very impressed! Definitely will be back!

So I am craving Chinese food tonight. Everything is closed but Silk Bistro on Main Street. I didn’t know the menu, so the gentleman was so patient and kind, he helped me so much to figure out the right choice for my order. And helped me apply it in the least expensive way. Was very thorough with my special requests for sauce and chop sticks. I haven’t have customer service like this from a fast food restaurant in forever. Usually I am rushed by the employee. I heard great things about their food. I am confident it’s as great as their service. Thank you !!

Not from the area, ordered take out, was given a friendly greeting and the food was ready when I arrived. Everything looked fantastic, vibrant colors, a balance of well prepared ingredients and each and every bite was excellent. We ordered a wide range of items, apps, soups, noodles, rice, seafood, vegetables- all of it was excellent, fresh and flavorful, and we'll be back.
