Taqueria El Paisa Mexican Restaurant

The most authentic food we have found by far in the state of michigan. Where mexican restaurants usually only have salsa with chips as an appetizer at El Paisa they also serve full pinto beans (delicious) cooked with onion, bell pepper and hot dog! Food came out quickly. Restaurant was clean. Food was delicious!

very happy to finally stop in and try this place. Young host/waitress seemed a bit slow but she was thorough and got everything correct and checked up a few times. Mexican Pizza, combo plate, and taco's were all very good. Rice and beans were decent. Chips and salsa very tasty as well. Good Horchata. I will definitely be going back.

The food is delicious, though all I ever get are their rice, beans, & tostadas-they're all amazing! I always order a serving of the rice & beans, only to order more midway through my meal, lol. My lady really likes their taco salad (you get A LOT) & their enchiladas. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant with low prices, plentiful servings, and great service all at the same time. We enjoy ourselves with every visit.

Very fast service, great soft corn tacos, big and tasty botanas, quality sauce and a bit of authenticity; rather than the normal Americanized fare. Decent pricing as well. It's kind of a hidden gem to many in Lincoln Park.

I'm in love with this place. I've been going here for years. I always get the chicken tacos or the Mexican pizza. The staff is very friendly. I always feel welcomed.

A burrito the size of your arm!! If you rated this place bad that's because you have no idea what authentic Mexican food tastes like. Go back to taco Bell. This place is A Ok.

Excellent street style tacos. Carnitas, chicken, al pastor...all $1.00 on Tuesdays. Corn tortillas, onions, cilantro. Bring you chips & salsa to your table; pot of beans that is too due for. Call it charros, has beans, bacon, hotdog pieces.... Sounds weird but it is excellent. Grilled onions, jalapenos and radishes too.

The food here is packed with tons of flavor!! The sauce is wonderful!!! Great portions that leave you full!! This is a must try if you want good authentic Mexican food!!!

Great food! The Pozole was fresh, with big chunks of pork. The carne asada and carnitas had tons of flavor. Great value - we left full and satisfied!!

Food is authentic and amazing and the service is outstanding! It's a must go if you are in the Lincoln Park area and rivals some of the best mexican spots in Mexicantown.

Come here all the time. $1 Tacos on tuesday. Tacos are phenomenal and always ready fast, service is great.
