The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center

The store is clean and it has a lot of good items for sale. I like shopping here because they help the homeless community with the money I give them.

A good selection of brand new items at good prices. I like the used stuff as well which is placed in bins. Staff is friendly.

This is by far my favorite place to find brand new home goods and clothes. The entire store is essentially Target’s overstock, scratch and dent, and sales samples. Always tons of new furniture.

Extremely easy process if you are going to donate.
Next to the store is the drop off center, you can see a huge sign. Just pull over in front of the big gate and automatically the gate will open, you just go inside a little bit and three men will receive your donation. They can you can donate pretty much everything. If you need a receipt they will provide one, if not you are good to go! I learned something new today :)

The location receives or purchases Target overstock, staging items and samples along with buy in bulk donation thrift items (basement level (now). The majority of the items on (now) level 1, are brand new to include light fixtures, lamps, new AC’s, patio furniture, phone cases and accessories, seasonal decor, artwork, frames and last years target clothing item overstock. You never know what you’ll find. Great deals and great cause! Just some of the items I’ve picked up (driftwood candelabra, glass lamp and shade, everything in the ladder photo+).

I love this store it like family! My family an I use to live in the area, went there regularly! The store mgr has always gone above and beyond for my mom, she is older and they would cart things home for her and just all around friendly and yes great finds there! Love this place!

Attention users and Google management : this review applies to the Salvation Army Family Store and Donation Center at 3740 Nicollet Avenue, an address that Google has repeatedly memoryholed for some reason.

I donate more often than I shop, but when I have shopped here, I have found it bright and clean and well organized. And it's in a walkable neighborhood. So I feel my donations have a good chance of being put to use.

Best Cheeseburgers ever. I found one in a coat pocket as I was thrifting. A few pieces of lint on it but it was still warm.

Great deals on designer clothing and nice appliances (10 bucks for a 60 buck crock pot!) Walked out with tons for less than 50 bucks! Stop by and save.

Their basement is amazing! Target and sometimes other stores donate brand new clothing that is often half price or less!

For a small store, they have a large selection. A lot of Name brand and specialty items.. Friendly staff and new items everyday..
