We had a great stay here! The room was great. Nice and clean location. Very close to the Mall of America. Like a 5 minute drive. They do not have a shuttle service but it was no problem

Stayed here for 3 nights with my kids. Felt safe. Clean room. Great pool hours..my only complaints were I wish breakfast had more options and was until 10 instead of 9. Late checkout also was no an option and they held a preauthorization on my credit card for over a week after I left.. mini fridge would have been helpful too... overall nice hotel, friendly staff.

The No pets policy made us very happy!! Non-Pet, people friendly hotels are becoming rare it seems, but this Baymont has been a good find, and a much appreciated treasure. No pet odors and noises to scowl at when the fan/ AC is off, and no scary dog breeds strutting near your little ones.❤

This is a nice clean place, well maintained, and the shower pressure/temp has never disappointed.

The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable. We even booked the room late at night. I slept very well. I didn’t feel uneasy or uncomfortable at all. I would absolutely stay again!

My husband and I were travelling to Minneapolis to see a comedy show and decided to make a long weekend out of it. We were looking for a cheap hotel in the south end since most of the things we wanted to do were more south. This hotel is right near the highway and less than a 15 minute drive to the science centre, Minnesota zoo, and even downtown Minneapolis. It was also about a 4 minute drive to the Mall of America.

I always review the crime map details of a location before I book it, and this neighbourhood is statistically safe (very low gun and violent crimes). I would describe the neighbourhood around it as middle class, or maybe upper middle class (lots of single storey, well taken care of homes, there's an Audi dealership and a Land Rover place.)

The hotel itself was better than we expected (especially for being a 2 star and only costing us $277USD for 3 nights).

There seem to be a lot of reviews of displeasure regarding the breakfast. When we booked it clearly stated continental breakfast. Continental is not a standard American or European breakfast. Don't expect hot food. That's not continental. Their breakfast was exactly what we expected from every other hotel we've stayed at that has a continental breakfast - bagels, toast, oatmeal, 2 types of cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, a waffle maker (this is not always common so it was a nice treat!), and 1 type of fruit (apples in their case). If you want a eggs, potatoes, and bacon and stuff, then book somewhere that offers an American breakfast.

The pool was lovely, the hot tub was the perfect temperature (just remember to turn on the jets). The hot tub is also quite large especially compared to other hotels I've stayed at (even fancier hotels).

The bedroom was clean, our king size bed was comfortable, the pillows were amazing. It had an AC/Heater that you had complete control over, which I liked. I also like that you can open the windows (we were on the second floor, it was nice out while we were there so it was a great option to get some fresh air). The cleaner/sanitizer they use is quite strong smelling but the smell went away after having the window open for about 10 minutes, but if you have scent-based allergies and go in the winter, that's something to take note of.

The bathroom shower was a bit outdated, but the tiling in the bathroom seemed newer. The bathroom is quite small (Shower/toilet) which some people might not like but we had no issues with. I like that the sink is separate so I could get ready while my husband showered.

All of the staff we talked to were friendly.

You definitely should have a car if you're staying here. It's not really walking distance to anything other than a gas station (it's more in a suburban type area), but it's a super short drive to a lot of things including restaurants. We also used Postmates and got delivery from some places around Minneapolis and never had any issues with them finding the hotel or the room.

I've stayed at everything from 2 to 5 star hotels, and this was a lot better than a lot of 3 star hotels I've been at. We really enjoyed our trip and plan on staying here again when we come back to Minneapolis.

My sister and I stayed here. We ran into some issues and needed to stay an extra night. The management was VERY accommodating and helpful. He allowed us to move from one room to another (the one we were in was already booked) with absolutely no issues. I will definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, courteous staff, close to the airport, cheap. Don't plan on using Wi-Fi for work, though. Even the computer in the lounge area had a poor signal.

Wow, after staying at the same brand in one place I must admit I was a bit gunshy. But this location was a 180 degree difference. Clean rooms, nothing broken, and a real breakfast in the morning. And the hot tub worked!

When going to the Mall of America we will likely stay there again.

Service was excellent. Rooms were pretty basic but big. Pool and hot tub were pretty basic but this hotel was great for a couples getaway. Reasonably priced and staff was very friendly. I will stay here again. Thank you!

We were completely surprised by this hotel; in a good way. For the low price and rating we expected a bit of a dive, however it was well decorated from the front desk to our room and the staff was nice and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again. Unfortunately, during our very short stay, this was the only picture taken.

By far the best hotel in the area. Fair price, clean, effortless check in, but most of all the staff is PHENOMENAL. Their kindness and accommodation is unmatched. I highly recommend you book with the wonderful people here at Baymont! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. We will be back.

Loved the hotel, they made sure your rooms were top notch. If you plan on going to mall of America this actually the perfect spot to stay. You avoid all highways and there is a Walmart around the corner!! How can you beat that? Thank you for the great experience ❤

Nice place after a late flight. Bed was comfortable and reasonably close to the airport. Easy access and everyone was friendly!

The room was nice and clean and quiet. I checked in late and the overnight staff was very helpful and arranged for a taxi to meet me first thing in the morning

For a suburban, chain hotel, this place is great. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast and super-close and convenient to the airport at any time of day. Also, the windows in the bedrooms are allowed to crack open, which rates a gold star in my opinion. Fresh air is the best.

Perfect for a hotel and fly option. Staff was extremely fast and courteous. Room is spacious and clean. Lots of amenities. Very quiet. I would stay here again.

My first visit to MN. I had flown in late before Memorial Day weekend and needed a place to crash before continuing on. I met night manager Robert, who took care of me when I was tired, hungry and wanting a my room expeditiously. He not only gave me the room I was hoping for, he said he would make sure to have breakfast set up a little earlier so I could eat before heading back to the airport. Because of Robert my impression of the Inn and of the great state of MN got off to an excellent start. Baymont will be my first pick if I'm ever in the area again. Rick - YouCanJet
