An amazing selection of fresh vegetables, slices, beans and all sorts of items including soaps and incense. Save 4% when you spend $100. I paid cash, I don't know if that applies to credit card transactions. The clerk was very friendly and it was a great experience, prices were fair. I'll shop there again!

Checked out the restaurant attached to it. The food looked good and business was good but we'd just had lunch. The only disappointment was the condition of the bathrooms. The women's room was filthy. And I don't mean a few paper towels strewn around. It needed a serious scrubbing.

Update :- earlier I had mentioned about issues , I experienced, returning an unopened item, a day after I purchased it.

Here is the update.

Due to miscommunication and misunderstanding, the manager is more than willing to refund the item and will be updating their return policies.

I am glad it all worked out well.

It was hard decision to make to stop buying groceries from them ( convenience and varieties they have) and to stop dining at their deli( they serve really good food ). I guess I am a person of principles and I wanted them to be aware of their return policies they stated versus denying me my refund .

Almost always I get what I want from the store. We are fish lovers so a must go on all weekends for us. We get fresh goat meat from here and also chicken breasts. Huge difference in taste from the frozen ones.

My friend brought me here for take out. The food is delicious!!! I would go back again!!! We bought extra "bread" in the market next door! Yum!!!

Very good shop with lot of branded indian groceries. Has its own, live chapatti making machine and we can by fresh , hot chapattis. All Indian green vegetables available. Also has an attached Indian restaurant with all spicy delicious cooked foods love counter.

One of the Best restaurants in the town. Their bakery items are so delicious. Can't wait for their special plum cake that they make for every Christmas.

I’ve been visiting this place since the past 1 year and I must say I have no regrets.
My go to choice would be the Boneless chicken biryani. It is very flavourful and is always cooked to perfection. The quantity is soo filling, as well as delicious!
For breakfast, I always prefer Idli. Soft, hot and delicious when devoured with hot sambar and the chutney. Doesn’t matter what time of the day - you cannot go wrong with this.
The live chat counter is a fantastic idea by this place. I love how it comes close to the indian street food taste.

10/10 would recommend anyone to visit this place.

Good place for shopping Indian groceries and Their Food court is very clean and have wide variety of south Indian food

This is Greta place for all Indian groceries, Indian food, Halal meat.
You can find almost all Indian/Asian groceries.
Meat in here is really fresh and tender. I was looking for lamb and couldn’t find it anywhere, I found it here and was really good.
You can get wide varieties of fish as well. Clean, cut but frozen.
Still the taste is really good. You can try.

Also they have restaurant with good varieties. Lunch combos are really good.
You can get fresh roti’s here. They have a machine and it’s quick and soft. You can try this.

Excellent ambiance. Best indochinese food in Minneapolis and also with 50+ items.
But the place is bit busy takes times to sit but worth a wait😆

This is my favorite, fast, Indian food in the area. Be prepared for the spice level, which can be pretty aggressive... Like if you are afraid of Minnesota hot, you might have a hard time here... But the food is absolutely delicious.

We frequently visit here whenever we have our work here in Minneapolis, my favorite is chicken biryani or lamb biryani. Apart from that we usually order lassi, samosa chat, chicken and lamb cuisine, mango lassi is very delicious and they have many more dishes to taste.
On the grocery side, they make fresh tortillas and have everything from drinks to meats. The price is also reasonable.
Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

This store is such a gem to have in proximity to us. I love to pick up spices and gourds that I do not find other places. The staff are so friendly and this store always has many customers. I think that is a sign of a great business!

Great collection of both North and South Indian groceries. Recently they expanded it and added a big namkeen (snacks) section and extended their fresh Chapati (Roti, Indian Bread) section.

If you are not from India: You should try their fresh chapatis (Indian staple Bread) to taste what Indians eat on daily basis as naan is not our staple food.

Great spot to buy groceries. I'm a big fan of the poah Sev quick lunches.

Also their prices on herbs and spices are difficult to beat! I bought a 7oz bag of turmric for $3-$4. Cub sells it for twice the price (and half as much)!

Food is good almost all the time. This place has a curry point, groceries, kitchen, bakery etc. Prices are also reasonable. They change the curry point menu every day. So many chicken varieties. People working here are nice to me all the time.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing breakfast and lunch catered from India Bazaar by Desi bites for my housewarming party, and I must say it was a perfect choice, especially for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts. From start to finish, the entire culinary journey was exceptional.

Firstly, I want to commend the chef and his team for their outstanding service. They went above and beyond to accommodate our request for breakfast delivery on a weekday, which was quite a challenge as no other caterers in the twin cities were willing to offer such a service. Their willingness to work with us and their helpfulness with delivery timings truly made a positive impression.

Let's start with the breakfast spread. It was a delightful combination of traditional South Indian delicacies. The Idli, a steamed rice cake, was soft and fluffy, with a mild tanginess that complemented the accompanying chutneys perfectly. The Vada, a savory lentil donut, was crispy on the outside and had a moist, flavorful center. But the real star of the breakfast was the Chef's special Sweet Pongal. This dish was a revelation, with its aromatic blend of jaggery, ghee, and perfectly cooked rice and lentils. It was a heavenly treat that left everyone craving for more. The sambar, a lentil-based vegetable stew, was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying chutneys provided a delightful contrast of spicy and tangy flavors.

Moving on to lunch, the spread continued to impress. The sambar, with its depth of flavor and well-balanced spices, was a true comfort food. The Rasam, a tangy and spicy tomato soup, was a refreshing addition to the meal. Vathakolumbu, a tamarind-based curry, offered a unique blend of sourness and spice that tantalized the taste buds. The Potato fry was perfectly seasoned and had a crispy exterior, adding a satisfying crunch to the meal. The Avial, a medley of mixed vegetables cooked in a coconut-based sauce, was a harmonious combination of textures and flavors. The Appalam, a crispy lentil wafer, added a delightful crunch to the meal. Finally, the Payasam, a creamy and sweet rice pudding, provided a delightful conclusion to the lunch, leaving us with a lingering sweetness.

Overall, India Bazaar's breakfast and lunch catering exceeded all expectations. Chef Ram and his team's dedication and expertise shone through in every dish. The authentic flavors, the attention to detail, and the exceptional service truly made the housewarming party a memorable event. If you're looking for an unforgettable South Indian culinary experience, I highly recommend India Bazaar for their outstanding food and impeccable service and affordable price.
