Kona Grill - Minnetonka

The food, drinks & service are always good. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I think they could update some of their booths. The fabric is very worn.

Very, VERY good! This is a great location to pop into for lunch or dinner if you’re out and about at Ridgedale Center. The bartender was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The hand-crafted cocktails were delicious and the food was fresh and fantastic. My only criticism would be the price- it’s a bit expensive compared to similar food offerings nearby.

Our waitress, Jenna, was fantastic. She is very pleasant and sure seemed to enjoy her job working with her customers.

The food was fantastic and large portions. The combination of different flavors peaked my tastebuds and made me want to return again. I'd highly recommend the Macadamia Nut Chicken. The blend of the chicken, mashed potatoes and asparagus was unique to this restaurant and will make you want to come back for more, too.

Sorry, it's not a review for food. The service staff is efficient and attentive. Pitcher for water and Bullitt for a good cocktail.

I loved the drinks and the overall atmosphere here. Jeffrey our bartender was the sweetest and made sure we were taken care off all night!

Excellent food and excellent service. Our steaks were perfect. I would highly recommend the Ribeye meatballs as an appetizer. My husband had the lobster roll and he said it was top notch!
I am not good with names but I believe our waiters name was Matt.( He told me more than once and I should remember) . He was amazing. Very helpful explaining menu. He was attentive and very welcoming. This was our first time to Kona.
We are from the south and we're satisfied to find such amazing flavor in the food!

Our server, Jenna, was wonderful. She had a number of good food suggestions, was cheerful, prompt, and wonderful overall.

I had the french dip that I was craving all day, and the table had the avacado eggrolls. Unfortunately, someone got to the last buttercake before us, so we will have to come back again.

Great service, environment, and food!

We ordered the pot stickers, Checkerboard, pad Thai and spicy tuna roll. It was all phenomenal. My husband ordered an old fashioned and said it was the best he has ever had. Hong made our experience extra special. I can’t say enough wonderful things. Can’t wait to go back!

I had an incredible dining experience at Kona Grill. Our server, Hong, was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our meal memorable. The food was delicious, but Hong's exceptional service truly made the evening special. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're lucky enough to be served by Hong!

Sake flight wasn't bad, but I personally only liked the awa Yuki sparkling. For starters we tried the ribeye meatballs and sea bass sliders, which both were delicious. For entrees, enjoyed the Korean 5 spice ribs (would 100% recommend) & the Las Vegas roll. For dessert, ordered the butter cake, not exactly what I was expecting but was okay, it was much denser then expected but the vanilla bean ice cream and raspberry sauce was delicious.

Hong was the best server i’ve had at a restaurant in many years. He was very patient with our table of 10 and accommodated to all of our needs. I will be coming back for his service alone.

What a wonderful experience. Service was quick and the food was delicious. We drank several of their top shelf drinks so our bill was high but worth it. What made it better was that we walked from the hotel across the street.

I will go out of my to come back. One of the first places I visited when moving to Minnesota. First thing I noticed was the atmosphere - you can bring the kids, your first date, or a group of friends after work. Next is the variety of food - two separate kitchens - American - Latin - Sushi. Another great thing is the ability to sit near these garage like doors that make you feel like your outside but you are still in the restaurant allowing to escape the parking lot vibe. You can sit by the bar or sit inside and really enjoy the atmosphere. Service has always been great. One night it was busy and there was a mix up and I waited for 20 minutes before asking for service. Manager immediately came over and comped our first round of drinks. Loyalty program seems broken - I give them my number and yet one one of many visits showed. I just gave up but it has not deterred me.

I came in last Thursday night for happy hour. Jeremy, the bartender was amazing!! He was super helpful, made us our drinks deliciously, and tended to us quickly. The food also came out super quickly. Didn’t have to wait for a single thing. Definitely recommend!

Hong was an amazing server! So kind, and diligent. We sat and chatted for hours after we finished eating and he kept refilling our waters. Will definitely ask for him again :)

This is a must go to! The menu has a vast selection and for everyone in the family. This was our first time and it was AMAZING. We had the bbq chicken flat bread. The flavor was outstanding and nice sized pieces of chicken. The Tomato Basil soup was the best I have ever had. It was creamy and bursting with flavor. The Sushi was of very good size and high quality sushi. The picture I took was after we had a few pieces. The oriental side salad was very good as well. You can tell everything is made from scratch.

The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. The patio has fireplaces and shade from the sun.

The staff is very polite and they stay on top of making sure you are satisfied.

Hong provides amazing, kind and friendly service! The food is really good and highly recommend the chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps and Brussel sprouts! We appreciated a night out with friends!!

Great food with attentive service! Visited with a group for happy hour and ate/drank off the happy hour menu. Sushi rolls, sliders, flatbread pizza were all very good! Our server was great, always checked in on us and brought everything back quickly. The flavors of the food were delicious and difficult to describe (a good thing to not have the right words!). Easy to get to with restaurant entrance at the mall entrance and tons of parking.

Jenna was our waitress and she was super friendly and helped make our experience a great one. We’ve been going to the EP location and had not so great experiences the last 4 times at that location. We decided to try the Minnetonka location today and everything about our experience was SO much better! I will definitely be back to Mtka soon!! Thank you Kona Grill and Jenna for a wonderful lunch!
