Cinnamon Indian Cuisine

Better book online or by phone, always crowded. Place is very pleasant, service is amazing. We got lychee martini and mango Lassi. Calamari appetizer, with tons of veggies and spices, unusual but good. Lemon and coconut rice as side, radjastan mughi chicken🌶, Chichen korma and chicken Tikka massala, Tikka massala wasn't as nice for us, it tasted more like tomatoe sauce, it was plain. Golub jamun for desert, we call it Indian doughnut, with ice cream and pistachios, yummy. All tasteful except Tikka massala.

This is by far my favorite place to dine in and take out! The prices are just right and the food-Excellent! They get the flavors just right every time! The portions are generous to say the least. The service is extra attentive and the atmosphere is pleasing..including the background music. I get take out whenever I want to celebrate or treat the family.. otherwise dining in is nice since the smells of spices sets the mood…can’t go wrong here. Want a quick nutritious lunch with a price that is reasonable- stop by and give it a try!

What a great place! This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever tried in the United States. It highly recommended for any person seeking excellent Indian food with great coktails.

A phenomenal choice for dinner! Nice atmosphere, nice staff, amazing food, lots of gluten free and vegan options, and fast service! You won’t be disappointed.

One of the best meals I've had! Whenever I go with my family we order a bunch of stuff and share everything. Food has incredible flavors, service is top notch and the atmosphere is so cozy and cute! I'm not a big fan of lamb but you HAVE to try the Lamb Shank!!!! it melts in your mouth! Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Four of us all had excellent meals as usual. We got appetizers and Naan with goat cheese. Three chicken dishes and one shrimp. Cocktails were very good too. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and made recommendations per our request. Reservations highly recommended. On the weekends it is very noisy!!

Awesome place, loved it, Ambience was good. Staff were friendly and took care of us and checked on us how we were doing from time to time. Normally in an Indian Restuarant, it would take atleast an hour of wait time for the dishes to be prepared but it was quick here compared to other Indian Restaurants, I would recommend reserving the place before you go. Reception was very kind and let us come at 4:30 when we requested that we came from far place. We had Malai Kofta, Saag Paneer and Kodi Vepudu along with Naan and roti and all of them very good except that Kodi Vepudu is normally dry it was having gravy here. Prices were bit expensive compared to other Restaurants.

First time at Cinnamon and we were not disappointed. Our server Cyril (If I remember correctly). sat us down and warmly welcomed us. While we are not vegetarians, we decided to order only non-meat dishes. My wife started with masala chai. She said it was the best she had ever had. It was fragrant and creamy. Our food order was Palak Chaat-crispy spinach with spices, chutney and yogurt. This was the most unusual Indian cuisine offering we ever had, but so delicious. Next up was Bagara Baigan-baby whole eggplants with tamarind sauce, ginger, garlic and curry leaves. How could you go wrong with these flavors. It was exquisite! We also ordered both coconut and lemon rice. I could have made a meal just from these two dishes.
Cinnamon is a step above most Indian cuisine we've ever had. The service was attentive, but not intrusive and very relaxing. We will return to Cinnamon again when we return to Rhinebeck.

Passing through and stopped on a whim. Immediately struck by the flavors. The place was busy, but the staff remained attentive. Solid atmosphere, but it's really about the food. Some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. Will return if I find myself in the neighborhood again.

The food is phenomenal. I loved everything I had. I have a gluten and dairy allergy so was so excited to be able to have fried calamari & it was so yum.
They don’t allow dogs because they don’t have outdoor seating but they allowed us to sit on the end where the restaurant was open to the outside so she could sit with us.
The drinks were really delicious.
The service was a bit slow but very pleasant so no major complaint.

Will be back!!

The best Indian food, I've ever had! The Bagara Baigan, (Indian eggplant), with fantastic gravy sauce, had a spicy sour note. Malai Kofta ( dumplings with a filling of cheese & ground veg.), in a delicious cashew, almond cream sauce. Our 3rd entre, Sabzi Bhaji, (large bowl of steamed veg. in a delicate vegan curry sauce. Vegan mango salad, veg samosa (2) with tamarind sauce, & hot pickle for appetizers. Sides of goat cheese naan bread, chapati bread (vegan), with 3 kinds of rice. Enjoyed the hot Chai tea, & cucumber Raita (mild thin yogurt sauce) to top entrees. Excellent friendly service by All.

Excellent restaurant center of Rhinebeck, NY !! Loved the staff, owner, the surroundings, the delicious calamari, garlic naan bread, and my grilled boneless chicken with almonds, cashews, peas etc cream sauce - perfection ❤ We shall return !

Amazing and complex flavors. Each dish offers a different blend of spices for a truly delicious experience. We had the salad dosa and mixed grill for appetizers. Our entrees were outstanding as well. We went with the recommended house special lamb dish and the Kerala lamb specialty. Highly recommended if you can handle the spiciness.

Best Indian food I've ever had. The lamb chops are to die for. So tender and flavorful its a mystery how they make them so amazing. And very interesting and tasty desserts. Only criticism was an extremely long wait to get the food during lunchtime on a weekday(45min).

What can I say about Cinnamon that hasn't been said about the Sistine Chapel, the compositions of Bach, the moon landing and the other famous wonders? Cinnamon is more than just food, it's a palatable experience of delights and joys that leaves one forever changed and awestruck, marvelling at the awesome powers of flavor. The service was excellent and the decorum is tasteful and comfortable. The food/drinks were fairly priced, traditional and just damn perfect. 10/10

Delicious unexpected gem/stop on our drive down to NYC. Gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent experience, we look forward to coming back.

Their Saag Paneer has now become my traditional dish for Thanksgiving dinners. It has always been well appreciated over the years, and as I have little talent with cooking - I feel no shame in it - but I always give them credit for such comfort food!

We were continuing the celebration of a lovely 17yr old. We had delicious food. They also have nice outdoor seating as well. A must to go there if you are visiting the area.

Loved the food here! We got a lamb dish and it was very lean meat and the tenderness was just right. However, the star was this vegetarian dish with mushroom! I plan to travel all the way back from the city just to try that again. I will say though, I wasn't happy that the chutneys were upsold for the prices they were. I miss the days when condiments like these were included with your meal.

Wonderful place for a true Indian dinner! Our great server Albert made some recommendations and he didn’t lead us astray! Enjoyed the mixed grill of shrimp, chicken and lamb. Some vegetable sides, garlic naan of course and a delicious pastry dessert w vanilla ice cream and cinnamon. Really enjoyed everything we ate and Albert’s hospitality!
