Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers

Had a great experience at Monro. I ordered a set of tires and wheels online from another retailer which came pre-mounted and balanced. After installing them onto my car, I experienced significant vibrations at higher speeds. I dropped my car off at Monro first thing in the morning, and they took the car right in. They performed a road force balance on my wheels/tires and diagnosed the issue quickly. I took my car for a short test drive and the vibrations were gone! Quick, friendly, and efficient service at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.

Great service. Dropped my car off at night and had my car inspected and brake fluid changed the next day. (They do need a night drop box though)

This company makes a difference, since if you only go for an oil change! They make sure to fix every loose screw and possible failure in your vehicle, they offer you the service and they do it in the best way.

Monroe automotive is an excellent place to deal with, Brian the manager is very knowledgeable and a good mechanic, Jim is an excellent mechanic, and Justin went out of his way to see to it that I had my part that day by calling numerous suppliers. The serviceman was prompt, courteous, and quick. He took only minutes to repair my tire and return my car.

I sent Mom to you guys because she had a nail in her tire. She was happy with the quick and courteous service, and that the technician inflated all her tires to the right psi.

This mechanic saved our trip to NYC, we had a flat and they could not have been better, super useful and polite and got us back on the road as fast as they could!

I needed a tire repaired. I actually had thought I needed a new tire, but rather than go for the sale, Monro did the right thing and did a swift, friendly repair.

Since I originally posted this two years ago, I have absolutely counted on the crew at Monro to keep our older car in decent shape and they have proven to be helpful, friendly, skilled and honest.

Had some minor car issues the day before Thanksgiving. Made a reservation and they promptly/professionally had us on our way.

My alternator died during a long drive and I ended up in Kingston. Brian was kind enough to take me in right after opening on a Sunday. He confirmed the issue quickly, and gave me an accurate price and time estimate for the work to be done. Everything was all good and I made it back home fine with the help of the team at the Monro in Kingston.

Great service, good people that work hard to keep you on the road.

While I did see some old negative reviews. I had exactly the opposite experience . Had brake work and shocks and struts done. Service managers and staff were great .. Efficient and honest about what expected costs would be . Truck was worked on in the time specified ...

I am happy that truck now drives and brakes safely. Because things were in poor shape making me cautious about driving it.

Truck is now safe and drives 100% better .

Another great experience here today. I have places closer but this place is always worth the drive. They replaced the whole exhaust after the front cats on a 2002 truck within 1.30hrs. Was expecting to wait weeks on it being ordered as older model.

We have two vehicles that have all maintenance work done at Monroe in Kingston. The team at Monroe in Kingston always provides excellent service. Brian does a great job managing the front desk and making sure all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. Jim is an excellent mechanic and in the 8 years we have been going there, we have never had to have re-work done. The man is an expert in his field. You can trust him when he recommends service.
Not only do these gentlemen provide excellent service, they are friendly and hospitable.
Highly recommend this shop for all your auto needs.

I have gone to the Monro center in Kingston for a number of years and I have always been satisfied with their service, professionalism, and cordial way of doing business. These are my "Go-To" guys for everything from regular oil changes to "uh oh, what's that noise?" and "uh oh, what does that light on the dashboard mean?". I trust that when they tell me this or that needs fixing on my car, the car really does need it. I feel safe in my car because of them.

I had an amazing experience with Monroe, I am use to going to the Hyde park and Rhinebeck one. I have never dealt with such a amazing customer service like the one in Kingston. Employee by the name of Steve was the best! He was so kind and very helpful and squeezed me in quickly for an oil change.
Definitely giving this place 5 stars thanks to Steve
