We have lived in the area for 30 years, and do not know why we have never been here before! Everything was excellent!. The sangria was on point, the service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I shared the hot appetizer sampler and the portion size was extremely generous. He had the seafood paella and I had jumbo stuffed shrimp--let's just say --we have enough left to have another whole meal even after overeating! The finale of the meal was limoncello tartufo--recommended by the server--so yummy! Needless to stay we will be back!

Great food and fun at this gem of a Portugese Rodizio restaurant. And if never ending meat is not your jam then look no further because they have a full menu with lots of fish and paella options. The bar is fully stocked and they make the smoothest dirty martini. Loved their pistachio coquito martini. And their sangrias are yummy too. Staff are amazing. Definitely going back.

Oh my God, what an amazing experience we just had lunch with friends at the Atlantic matter in Ogdensburg, New Jersey and boy what an amazing experience the food was great the service was great. The atmosphere was great, and the lunch portions were pretty much like the meal portion and most restaurants great value, this is a gem of a place and if you were a little out-of-the-way, it’s worth the trip

Fantastic. My friend got the Tomahawk and that was impressive. My little Filet was very good too. This is not our first visit, and it will not be our last!

Great food and atmosphere. Our party had the beef tenderloin tips with mashed potatoes, Bbq split chicken breast, Portuguese stew with mixed meats and poultry, as well as the salmon. All of our meals were delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly.

So we came here with a few friends that recommended trying it out, the food was absolutely delicious. The roasted duck was so moist and tender, beautifully done and so full of flavor, my boyfriend had the surf and turf and he was very impressed and said it was cooked perfectly and was amazing, the food and service is well worth the price, we will definitely return many times to come!

Paella is excellent! We dined with our 6 year old granddaughter. We ordered pasta for her, which our server forgot. It is hard to enjoy a meal with a child who has to wait so long for her meal.

Found this place while traveling for work. Up to that point, I had not tried Portuguese food. Omg.

This restaurant was recommended by my daughter. My husband and I went for our Anniversary. We had the Rodizo and it was fantastic! So many meats and the taste was delicious. Lots of food and a good price. Great staff! We will go again for the Paella. Highly recommend!

I worked Newark for 18 years in ambulance. And tried every Portuguese place around. This place is as good as down in newark. Staff awesome. Food great. Portions huge. U may wait a like but it’s tough hiring people. But they still get it done

The food is amazing and the service is the best. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. I’ve never had a bad meal here. It’s great for special occasions or just a regular date night! You won’t leave hungry. The rodizio and the dinner entrees are amazing.

The Rodizio was as good as it gets and I’ve been at all the top places in Jersey and Nyc.
The sangria was amazing and the traditional Portuguese foods and soups were excellent.
The customer service was above and beyond which always says something because it’s so rare today. A true traditional Portuguese dining experience. The owner Carlos went above and beyond. You won’t regret it.

People who work there are so kind. Flavorful food. Decent prices which is a rare find these days. Nice ambiance. A Good try.

Our family of 6 had a great dinner! Fantastic Rodizio!! The waiters were so accommodating. For years we went to Newark, the iron bound section for rodizio. We moved up to Sussex county a year ago and decided to try this place. We will definitely return!! And they're building an outside area which will be great!
