I had the pleasure of dining at Black Barn River, and the experience was exceptional, especially with their NY strip steak. The steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and incredibly tender. The attention to quality and taste was evident, making it a delightful culinary delight. Best Burger Ever! This place is amazing. All the food is delicious and is a nice place for the family. The view is just fantastic!

To the managers Brian & Tim, our head server Gary, and all the staff at BRB; thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us have our 100+ person wedding on the lake. From the food to the service and a full wedding ceremony in between, we could not have asked for a better day. Throwing a whole wedding is not an easy feat yet Gary had every guest served, smiling, and never having to ask for something because he was already there with it. I absolutely recommend an event here! THANK YOU!

I was there today for Mother's Day Brunch around 10 am and what a delicious Brunch it was! The assortment of food was so bountiful,from every kind of breakfast to lunch to dinner and all the assorted desserts! The wait staff couldn't have been kinder! This quaint beautiful place is filled with surprising decorated country pieces and paintings. Adorable! It's also huge inside. Tables set up for families from 2 to 20. A huge square bar with much seating around it. A beautiful wide river outside the windows to admire and when the weather is good they have a lot of outside seating by the River. A huge parking lot. I'm telling you this restaurant is a Real Treat! A must visit Place. I give it 10 Stars!!!!!

Stopped by today and glad we did! Food was amazing.. had the tuna and not only was it perfectly cooked, the vegetables were delicious! My son had the salmon and loved it. My 4 legged son had grilled chicken. Great atmosphere, amazing food and dog friendly patio.

We held a party at The Barn for our granddaughter's baptism. Chris was my contact. He was very professional and patient with all my questions. He was very responsive and I felt I could really trust him with our event.

On the day of the party, Wilmer was my point man. He provided such fantastic and attentive service. I felt like he really cared about the party and my guests. He was great!

I can't leave Jake and Orelio out. They were fantastic too. They were friendly and attentive. If we needed anything, they were on it. I am very thankful to all the staff for making our party a delicious success. Great job guys!

Attended a baby shower at this restaurant recently (so catered food experience). The atmosphere was very rustic and cozy (I LOVED the outdoor fire pit), and the food was diverse and so delicious! I'm looking forward to returning for a burger soon, as I got a peek at their menu while I was there. I passed this place every day on my way home from work for years and had no idea how welcoming it was!

Always a great experience at the Black River Barn. Come around sunset time for beautiful view off the back deck.

Fun place with good food and our server was exceptional. I wish I could remember his name but I believe he was the only African-American server in there so that should narrow it down. If you’re lucky you will get him as your server. Drinks were great and it’s a fun place.

Very nice atmosphere. Large menu with seasonal specials. Big portions, my wife and I got enough in our doggy bag for a second meal. No surcharge for credit card. I won't go to places anymore that have credit card surcharges. Will definitely go to Black River Barn again.

A very rare 5 star rating on my first visit. I've driven past this place for 20 years and never went in until today. Our server Nicole was an absolute delight!!! The food was amazing from start to finish. Everyone at our table was raving about their dish and none of us ordered the same thing. This was an absolute find and we will definitely be back. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this place. My second visit was not as good. The service was impeccable, the young lady who took care of us was great. However, the food was not up to par. I know they recently changed ownership and I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Really cool place. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The ribs and street corn were really good. The best surprise is the cornbread. It's light, fluffy, and delicious.

Came for a really late midnight dinner. The bar was playing amazing music and the service was great dining in. The food was good definitely want to try other things next time! Dont sleep on the caesar salad!!

This is a kewel find for us as it is on a curve just past a bridge you pass under but that's not important right now. They have seating inside as well as outside next to a beautiful lake.
This is a great drinking bar which has a big menu. We only had drinks and tasty tots but we will return to try the ribs and clams, steamers I believe. I've got to eat some turkey first. My wife ordered a Coke and Makers Mark but they only had Pepsi! Let's protest and get a can of Coke for the bar! "Have fun without me!"

Always a great experience here. Every server I've ever encountered has been beyond helpful, offering their opinions on dishes and recommendations. Every staff member has also always been extremely welcoming! The food is delicious and the portions are generous. There is a bar area that is separated from the main dining area- as a diner, even when the bar is crowded, it's almost unnoticeable if that's something you want to avoid. The outside area is THE BEST part as it's on a small lake that can easily be romantic or just a cool hang out spot. Love it here!
