If you want a burger…. GO HERE! They have won best burger in the state the last 3 years and 4 other times in the last 10. The burgers are big and good meat. There are some very interesting ones. I had one with strips of steak on top and horse radish. Delicious. The pretzel appetizer was big and super soft. Get the cheese with it. The sweet potato fries were excellent. The tots were a disappointment. Service was very good. The place is nothing special. My one disappointment was my burger was medium rare instead of rare

We were really excited to try this. Highly recommended burger joint, and our experience did not disappoint! All the food was really delicious. Atmosphere is fun and cozy. Especially loved our waitress Karen I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. We love everything about it!

All I can say is wow , the fries were good and the sandwich is amazing. Soft, the bread is perfect crisp to softness ratio , the book on the chicken is perfect . I’m beyond satisfied.

We just had their wings at the 2024 Battle of the Wings and holy crap they were amazeballs! The Peach with Love Dust ones, the Dr. Pepper BBQ ones, the Smoky Gorgonzola, and Chipotle Soy Ginger, all were out of this world! I lived in Buffalo for years and these were my favorite wings EVER! 10/10 recommend!

Not a French onion soup fan. But, my boyfriend got it and I decided to try it. The BEST French onion soup I’ve ever had. The broth is so flavorful, the fresh onions, cheese… will definitely be coming back to get my own bowl!

My husband and I stopped here before going to a concert at landmark theater for dinner. Our food was really good. I have never been impressed by a chicken tender before. Their French onion soup was to die for. The service was really amazing and super charismatic. They check on our table frequently and had no issues assisting us with any questions we came had.

I was in from out of town and decided to try Ale N Angus due to the great reviews. My wife was having a procedurey done at an area clinic and so I decided to take my 1 yo on a daddy daughter date. When I arrived with my hands full and my little one they sprung into action immediately grabbing me a high chair and offering her crayons and paper. I didn’t get his name but my waiter was beyond awesome he was so attentive and understanding that I had my hands full(literally and figuratively) and was very nice and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay great.

My wife and I have been doing keto so I had to stick to a salad. It was such a hard decision as I am huge burger fan and have been dying to try their burger since they won best burger last year but I promised my wife I would stick to my diet…. I decided on a hot chicken ceaser that they had as a special and it was AMAZING. My daughter was content with her snacks (too young for one of there excellent burgers) however my wife had to fast for 12 hours for procedure so I knew she would be starving so I figured she could break her keto for the day and I ordered her the Power play burger. As I scarfed down my salad my daughter enjoyed her crayons and we had a wonderful lunch. Once i was done, my wife’s burger arrived at perfect time. I bundled my daughter up with my hands full again with her diaper bag and baby in tote I left to go back to pick up my wife. I parked down the block so it was a little trek. When I got to my car I heard someone shouting sir. It was my waiter running after me to bring me my daughter’s coloring book I forgot.

When I picked up my wife she was still receiving from the anesthesia but was very hungy. When she open the container she couldn’t believe her eyes. The burger looked amazing. She was so happy and scarfed it down so quickly. She even let me get a little bite and it was by far the best burger I’ve ever had. So juicy and flavorful. I pray I will be able to get back to cuse soon so I can maybe cheat on my keto and try one of these burgers.

Ale n Angus gets 5+ stars not only for delicious food but service that was well over the top. I wish I got my waiters name to give him a proper shout out but I thank him so much for helping a slightly overwhelmed dad’s day a bit easier and providing excellent service.

Ale 'n' Angus Pub does live up to the hype! It's a chill space, packed wall to wall with people enjoying their meals. I was impressed with how relatively quiet it still was even with a packed house and I attribute this to not having loud music playing for everyone to compete with.

We were seated promptly and met our server shortly after. The server asked if we wanted wings out first and we did! They came out quickly and shortly after finishing the wings it was only a few minutes and our meals followed.

The taste, I came for the burgers and loved my Hot and Smokey, but the Citrus Chipotle Wings won my heart. They were made to perfection and it was a sauce combination I've never tried and if I ever see it again I won't say no! I also added the onion rings to my meal and they were fantastic as well. My wife got a salad and it was fresh, large and satisfying, she was very happy with her meal as well.

The only disappointment came when we appeared to be abandoned at our table. Our server became or simply just is the bartender and another server who was walking by was taking our finished dishes. We waited for the check for awhile because it's a busy place but unfortunately it wasn't until we flagged down the lovely server who was cleaning up after us that we got our bill. She took payment immediately from us as we could tell she knew what was going on and we also saw her being a super hero out there so a huge shout out to that lovely woman!

In conclusion, great food, great setting, kind staff, and you may need to be assertive to get your bill. An easy recommendation and we look forward to trying so much more on their menu.

My food was INCREDIBLE! I got the steak frites with garlic parmesan fries. I literally could not stop eating because the food was so flavorful. I haven’t been so pleasantly surprised by a meal in a long time. My server was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Ale ‘n’ Angus Pub!!

Of ten-awarded the best burger in NY, and deservedly so! Try literally any of their burgers that have won this award, and you won't be disappointed. My favorites are Number 7, Hot & Smokey Candied Bacon Burger, & The Power Play. If you want chicken instead, the Scott B is delicious. No matter what you get, get the sweet potato fries as a side because they come with a delicious dipping sauce. It's a great spot to stop before a Syracuse Crunch game, but make reservations in advance to get a table on game nights!

The food is excellent, and the service is amazing. Matt and Kadie are great bartenders, so we stayed for another drink after we finished our meal. I highly recommend stopping by whenever you’re in Syracuse. Best burgers that either of us have ever had!

Been on a kick to find the Best burger in CNY and these guys are it. Best burger I've ever had. 15/10 amazing and I can't wait to try their others.

Tough decisions... all the burgers are great! Had their take on the old Clark's roast beef sandwich. Although not the same, very good! Brought back some fond memories.

This place is incredible! What a total gem, from the delicious food to the absolute top-notch service and great atmosphere. We visited from out of town and Katie and Matt immediately made us feel like locals. I couldn’t be more impressed with the owner and his ethical approach to making sure to take true care of his customers. This place is a MUST GO!

We do road trips all over the country in search of awesome burgers and this is one of the best. We drove all the way from Ohio and it didn’t disappoint. Limited hours though.

Always a great meal! This is the Birria Burger, it's entered in the 2024 best burger in NYS competition. I opted for tots instead of the house chips. As the waiter recommended, take the first bite without the dip, then dip the next bite, a whole new world!

Eat here! One of the best burgers I have ever had! Super juicy and the candied bacon was to die for! Great beer selection. The food all have great names too. Yum!
