June Cemetery

The cemetery is still in use. I went in the snow, a lot of the headstones are really old but some of them are more recent, I saw some from the 1990s. There's a bench with a view of the water which is nice but not much else to see here.

I was born there 1960, the family moved out shortly after, I have visited the site during family reunions haven't been there for about 10 years now.

There's really not much left of Doodletown besides this cemetery. It was kind of disappointing to be honest. I was hoping to see ruins of buildings but all I saw was maybe a couple stone steps/stairs and a couple overgrown foundations. It seems like much of the remaining ruins are completely covered by trees, plants, and weeds. The historic streets are quite narrow compared to modern roads but some of them are paved at least.
