The Pasta Villa

Found my favorite Italian restaurant in Rochester New York. One of the best Italian food I have had in western New York. Portions are big, prices are very affordable. 10/10 would recommend.

During my first visit here I had the pleasure of dining in this evening, my server Laurie R. was outstanding, couldn’t ask for better service. The food was prepared perfectly, hot and delicious. a very comfortable atmosphere and kept very clean. The entire team of staff was pleasant, highly recommend. Can’t wait to return and try something else!!! Happy Holidays.

We were visiting Rochester just for the night and picked Pasta villa as our restaurant of choice. I must say that we were exceptionally happy by the great service, Carrie was our waitress and offered amazing recommendations and she was very friendly. The food was delicious, we tried gnocchi with vodka sauce and stuffed Portobello mushrooms. The wine was stellar too! The ambience is perfect for date nights or for fun outings with your buddies. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Great spot for delicious Italian! We were visiting family from out of town and were recommended to try this place.

We were seated quickly although the dining room is a bit on the smaller side. There is a bar and high top tables if you are asked to wait for a table.

Everything was delicious and our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. We loved the calamari fritta, and highly recommend this app! I ordered the Pasta Anthony, pictured below. Two more in my group ordered the veal Piccata and Saltimbocca. Both enjoyed their dishes as well.

I've been here many times. Probably the best Italian food anywhere around Rochester. Food is always amazing, I'd recommend the chicken French. Service is fast and always very friendly. It can get busy during the dinner rush but if you get an early dinner you can avoid that

I am working in the Rochester area for a few months . I decided to treat myself to a nice Italian dinner. I found this restaurant and I have to say the owner treated me like she knew me for years. So friendly and welcoming. I had a take out order and the food I ordered was simply amazing !
I will definitely return to and do dine in. Highly recommended

I had the cheese and they were excellent. The sauce was great, the service was fast, the waitress knew the menu. Excellent experience, will definitely come back when I'm in the area again. My father had the Tripe and he loved it, personally I'm not a fan of Tripe, but he really loves it.

Well, last night was a birthday bash, 10 people, 3 kids, 1 teen, and 6 adults.
Not a word was said about my 3-year-old, who at her whim went to & fro around or under the table for the dinner.

First, we tried 3 appetizers that stood out by miles. The portobello mushroom it was fantastic. The artichokes came out very well, and the broccoli French wish,i had Celtic salt to add, at least for me

The drinks were stiff !
The lemon grouper ( me ) is absolutely killer
Chicken Marsella is delicious, steaks perfect
Pastas are all good & bread and butter.

The staff was great diligent and friendly!

We were greeted by the wonderful lady of another birthday party who was having a double party, and apparently 2 other birthday parties congratulations to all.

Add always.. the food was delicious with generous portions. My sons steak wasn't cooked as ordered but he ate it anyway because it was delicious. The owner found out and took the steak off the check! It wasn't necessary but they really go above and beyond to please over there! For the first time I didn't care for our server tho...
She snapped at my mom who is 78 and can't here anyway.... but i will go Again and again. This remains one of my favorite places to eat and drink!

I drive 2 hours to get their greens and sausage. My first stop back in Rochester is ALWAYS Pasta Villa. We've been going since they first opened. And once again today, they hooked it up! Not only have they won the best Italian food in Rochester for 14 years in a row, THE VALUE for money cannot be beat!! It's the best Italian around and the prices are FANTASTIC! If you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor. This bag of food was $21.54. Soup, pasta, an entree, a side of sausage and FRESHLY BAKED LOAF of bread!

We stopped in Rochester for the night and decided to grab some dinner close to our hotel. We are so glad we did! The food was phenomenal! The shrimp scampi was hot, delicious, and a generous portion. My husband got the pork loin dinner and says it’s the best meal he’s ever had from a restaurant. It is a small, family owned operation, and when we left there was a line out the door to get in.

We were here as a party of eight, which is a big number for this family-dining-room style establishment, and our experience could not have been better. The food was so good and very generous. I ordered chicken saltimbocca and got three meals out of it. Every bite was delicious. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Every time I come here I’m always impressed by the food and service. The staff here are so welcoming do you feel like you’re eating with your family. The food is priced so well and the servings are huge, always leave with a to go. We had the shrimp scampi and lasagna special

One of my favorite places to eat. I always love the consistency of the quality of food and service you enjoy while dining.
It is a small place, but well worth the wait if they are busy. I WASN'T too pleased with the quantity of French fries on my son's plate, but I just mentioned it and she immediately brought more at no charge.

Took my kids here for a nice pre Christmas dinner and we all loved our meals. Good old fashioned American Italian food with a small family feel. I've never had a bad experience here and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and services.

This was my first time here. My boyfriend and I went there last night for a dinner date, we were both craving Italian food and he had been to this place a handful of times in the past and enjoyed it each time.

I'm glad this is where we ended up going, the food was fantastic. The bolognese was absolutely amazing and hit the spot for my pasta craving.
My boyfriend also got the bolognese and also agreed that it was fantastic.
The bread was also delicious, just so soft and warm.

I don't remember the server's name but she was wonderful, and at one point I'm assuming either the owner or maybe a manager came up to the table and asked us how our food was, which I did like.

We also had another person come up and ask how everything was, so I'm glad that the staff really do care if their patrons are enjoying themselves and the meals they ordered.
I still have leftovers today, it was a lot of food for both of us and we each got a meal. And it still tastes great the next day.

We will definitely be back to try all of the other things on the menu.

Service was excellent. Chicken French is in the top I have ever had. The halibut special phenomenal!!! Can't wait to go back!!

I haven't been back in a number of years and again it did not disappoint and now I'm kicking myself as to why it's taken so long to go back. Was able to walk in at 8pm and be immediately seated. Had the chicken parm and the penne with bolognese and both were exceptional and huge! With inflation running rampant they still managed to keep each order under $20/person when every restaurant now would charge close to if not more than $30 for the same. I promise to be back sooner than later! Thank you for the wonderful service and dining experience!

The Pasta Villa is easily one of the most premier Italian restaurants in Rochester! The atmosphere is always welcoming and cozy, and the food is out of this world delicious!

As a word of warning, this is not the place to get a quick bite to eat. They don't take reservations for parties of less than 5 people, and if you come on prime night be prepared to wait. The food is absolutely worth it, however! Pictured is the Calamari Fritta appetizer, along with the entrees Veal Parmigiana and Cacciuco (clams, crab, shrimp and scallops over a delicious garlic butter pasta). I whole heatedly give The Pasta Villa 5/5 stars!
