Westchester Diner

Glad I stopped in today. Great breakfast and professional service. They passed my toast test. Perfect toast! One small change that would make this diner better would be switching to Heinz. Cheap ketchup makes everything taste a bit different. Thank you and I hope to see you again soon.

We are from Kentucky and were looking for a place to eat after checking into the hotel. The Diner was clean, bright and comfortable; the host was warm, friendly and very welcoming; the service was very very good and the food was enjoyable. However, I want to focus on the desserts because they offer a delicious pound cake and a marble cake that are moist and flavorful. I also tried their oatmeal raisin cookie which may be one of the best I have ever had. Frequently, oatmeal raisin cookies are too sweet, soft and thin. The flavor of these cookies was just right--not too sweet and the texture was a perfect blend of thickness, crispiness with some chewiness. I wish I could get them mailed to me in Kentucky because they were the best.

I loved the diner decor, music, and, of course, the food. We had a Black Jack burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The steak fries were perfect along with the coleslaw. We also ordered the half-moon chicken. It was extremely moist with the sides of creamy mash potatoes and vegetables that were cooked to perfection. The staff was so attentive and friendly, especially the manager! Thank you!!

We had lunch here today on the way to our kid’s baseball games. The portions were generous. The menu diverse. The atmosphere busy diner crowd. I would also like to point out the quality of the food items. Had a chance to speak with a manager and he confirmed our suspicion that most of the ingredients used are made in house. No frozen ingredients that most diner’s and restaurants use.
I would recommend the tuna salad sandwich, Belgian waffle and the burgers. The burger patty is like none I have tasted, and I can’t wait to go back and try the other specialty burgers on the menu

The owners have changed and the food is fresh, tasty and absolutely worth coming back for! The amazing staff is still friendly and kind! So happy to see new life if this diner!

Everything was awesome!! We used to come here when the under the previous owner, and we can honestly say that with the new owner everything was so much better! The food is amazing, the staff seems so much happier, and the place was bustling! We will be coming here again! Thank you for wonderful food and service!

What a nice surprise. The menu is different with wonderful choices. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was exceptional. I took a picture of my breakfast and sent it to everyone. I will definitely be back.

This is your standard diner fare but honestly, what else do you expect. It’s actually great ambience inside. Wait staff was attentive. Food came out quick, hot, and well made. Menu was simple with a few highlights. Parking was outside. If you want just a diner experience without frills, this is the place. Would come again.

was there twice this week, Wednesday for dinner and Saturday for lunch food was fantastic, I had the breakfast quesadilla on Saturday and it was exceptional. The place is so clean you can eat off the floor. The service is fantastic and so is the menu

Been here several times now. It's a nice local dinner. The staff was nice. The food came out quickly. There is a new owner who just took it over in 2024 or will be taken over shortly. Looking forward to eating there again shortly.

The restaurant is a winner! Very nice atmosphere, the service was timely and very friendly, the food is excellent and the price is right. What more can you ask for. We will be back often.

New owners, new menu, great food and service. Happily our server Edgar who has been here for several years is still here and is the best!

I was here three times previously for breakfast while my father was visiting, and it was good. Never tried lunch/dinner under previous ownership, but reviews were mediocre and after breakfast the parking lot was usually empty.

I saw on Facebook in the Peekskill Foodie group that there is new ownership and people were saying very positive things so we decided to have dinner here tonight. We shared mozzarella sticks appetizer, I had the mushroom swiss cheeseburger and my girlfriend had the Godfather panini.

Everything was excellent and my girlfriend was equally impressed. The cheeseburger was as good as a cheeseburger could be and her panini was equally delicious. There are three different hot pepper sauces on the table, which is great because my girlfriend puts hot sauce on everything. Wait staff was very pleasant and attentive as well.

A nice addition for breakfast.. Food was delish.. a bit pricy but very good. Crowded but service was fast and friendly!! Will definitely be back!!

Classic New York diner! I love it. Breakfast all day, milkshakes, burgers, gyros, open-faced (I know that's implicit) Reuben sandwiches, homemade pies and baked goods.. open till late. Nice and casual. Perfect place fo an impromptu bite.. enjoy!

I got the Thanksgiving wrap and added a side of cranberry sauce and wow it was amazing! The turkey tasted great, texture was on point even with mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing inside a wrap! (Could have gotten real mushy) The portion was perfect! Thanks to whoever made that wonderful meal!
