Paramount Hudson Valley Theater

Very nice theater...
We had front row baby!
The audio for this show was a little distorted.
We couldn't really understand him speaking nor many of the lyrics. Loud and distorted.
The bar is beer and wine only, but that didn't really diminish our good time.
I recommend this venue!

I went to see Herman's Hermits.
Very entertaining and so much fun. We were in the upper mezzanine and had a great view.
Bar also sold water, and at least, NY Pretzels. The theater might even be an historic place, well kept.

A unique, charming old-style theater experience in the heart of Peekskill!

This was my first experience at this venue, and it is a beautiful building. The only issue for the entire night is that the seating is so small it's definitely not made for tall people or just big people in general. The entire theater is absolutely beautiful and it's like taking a step back in time.It's really a wonderful place.

We went to see Mandy Patinkin, and he was amazing! What a performer! So well done, the time went by so fast. 2 hours felt like 30 minutes, I would see this again. The seats in this theater are wide and comfortable with plenty of room for people to pass.

We had a great experience at our first time at this venue attending Bill Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters. Nice Art Deco theater venue. Mixing was off, and the amazing lead guitar player went mostly unheard but an amazing show nonetheless. Plus, we spent some time with Billy Bob!

Municipal lot free parking after 6 pm. Don't walk..run to your next show! And don't forget to sign up for the newsletter to be in the know for upcoming events and shows!!

Very nice venue. Looked amazing with all the decor and elegant walls. Saw the Plain White Ts, not my favorite band but the audio quality was superb. Each instrument was mixed perfectly. The lead singer was just a tad quiet, but not much. The bathroom was clean. The snack service was quick and friendly. I got a $2 bag of popcorn and a $3 can of Coke.

Historically comfortable! Attended another well managed and well attended show. Old style theater with enough seats to make it feel like a good crowd is on hand, and small enough to generate a sense of intimacy between the performers and audience. Clean and bright. Also, enough food establishments nearby to make it an easy transition.

What an amazing experience at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater. My family and I came to see Tommy Emmanuel, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams perform. Awesome Venue and Hospitality.

Love the paramount! Small venue but big on music. Also ate out at Reubens which is a short walk away. All in all an awesome night out!

Love this place. Have seen some great shows including one years ago when I saw George Carlin in what turned out to be one of his last live shows. Saw Paula Poundstone last summer. It is a great old theater and we are lucky to have it right here in Peekskill

I absolutely love this theater. It is very comfortable, nicely restored and just a wonderful old theater to see a live performance of any kind. Plenty of parking nearby, food and drink inside, clean and very well kept. I go to this theater quite often and always enjoy the evening. I've seen many great bands play in the intimate, warm theater. You can't go wrong here.

2nd time at the Paramount ..very nice cozy place ...General admission for seats is kinda weird otherwise its very nice venue that could probably use an Audio renovation but nevertheless the area and the venue are very nice ...The show was all so very good Queensryche never disappoints

I've been to the Paramount several times. It is owned by a non-profit organization, hoping to add greatly to the revitalization of the city. Originally opened in 1930, it has been restored during the last several years, still a work in progress. But the lights and sound system are great for music, and it seems that more and more artists are being booked. The offerings are generally music and comedians, with the occasional movie. Find something you like on the calendar. It's spacious and well worth the time and money put into restoration -- it brings back to Peekskill a vibe that the city needs. There are several restaurants nearby, and you can make a great evening out on the town. In the theater, you can buy snacks and drinks (including alcohol). Tickets can be purchased online using the seating chart, which I would recommend. Parking is available and free after 6pm.

Very nice theater/ entertainment venue. Seats are arranged nicely so that you can get a good view of the stage. Parking is free in the city garage on Friday nights which is a short walk to the theater. I was asked for proof of covid vaccination - though I was not wearing a mask. You may want to check with them beforehand if you can get in without being vaccinated providing you wear a mask. This review is being written 2 days after NY dropped its indoor mask mandate.

Nice venue, on the older side. Acoustics were ok but not fabulous.

Absolutely beautiful theater! Saw Rocky Horror there with the live cast and it was perfect. Fair prices for drinks. Popcorn, snacks. Bathrooms are clean. Sound was awesome. Great view from all seats. Couldnt recommend more.
