Bella Luna Restaurant

I had a great evening at Bella Luna. The candle lit atmosphere was perfect and cozy for date night. The staff was helpful, but not too overbearing and most importantly the food was so good!! We got the shrimp pesto and lamb chops. We made same day reservations over the phone because it was showing they were booked online. When we arrived the restaurant was about half empty.

Bella Luna is a cute little spot for Italian fare, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The vibes are cozy + the staff are so kind and accommodating. My partner & I recently stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer at the bar - we had a great experience!! Their bruschetta is delicious (get it topped with mozzarella). It pairs nicely with their Bella Luna Spritz, which is garnished with some rosemary (so refreshing & light). This is a great place - highly recommend!

Will return? Absolutely... food was delicious... nice wine selection 👌 for the kids they have good food choices too.

Amazing place, we did made a reservation, much recommended if you don’t want to wait. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. He gave a nice description of the dish and it exactly what we ordered. Even though We sat by the bar, we got great service. The dishes are a good size and could be shareable if you like small portions. Will definitely come back

Excellent Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side. The Calamari appetizer was tasty and delicious. Salad appetizers fresh. A large number of main courses including brick oven pizza to choose from.
Linguine in white clam sauce absolutely delicious. And, with "real and large clams in the shell". Shrimp scampi and Lobster Ravioli were outstanding.
The Tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had.
Nice atmosphere and very good service.

I had burrata and fettuccine Alfredo which tasted like I was in Italy. My friend had lamb chops which she said were done to perfection and delicious. Prices were reasonable.

Neighborhood staple with great staff, wonderful atmosphere and tasty foods. Would recommend if in area. Portions are very well sized.

Side note my partner left a personal item behind when leaving and the staff held it for us safely until we picked it up.

I've been coming here for a few years now and just went there for my birthday. The food is great, you can tell that they use quality ingredients. The service is excellent as the are always attentive and kind. Also, the atmosphere is like an oasis. It's a great place to pause from your busy schedule.

I really enjoy this place. They have a vegan pizza. The linguini with clam has bit of broth on the bottom so it was refreshing.

Love that they still have outdoor seating and indoor still has dividers. Now that things are opening up other places have been quick to take them down. I really appreciate this place kept it up cause some people are high risk still.

Delicious food - not over seasoned. Rigatoni alla norma is my favorite. The prices for this neighborhood are very, very reasonable, too. I wish I had taken a picture because the food was beautifully presented, but now my plate is almost empty!

The food is very good and made with fresh ingredients. The prices are reasonable. Their staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the pizza here, it was delicious!

All the plates we ordered were excellent. Highly recommend the penne alla vodka, penne alla fresco, and tri color tortellini. The ice cream was also amazing! The prices were reasonable as well.

My wife and I usually eat dinner there. I had penne a la vodka, tomato and cream sauce, my wife had the Bronzini and a nice bottle of wine. Bill was about $150. ( Hay, it's Manhattan on the upper west side)

With a good meal, at a reasonable price, and nice environment. I had the bronzino with capers, my friend had the lamb shank, and our other friend had two appetizers, the portobello mushroom salad and the mussels. All good

The food was AMAZING! I ordered the pesto pasta w shrimp and the shrimp was so fresh.
But the star of the show was the calamari!! It was BOMB! Not over battered, perfectly seasoned!

Very friendly staff restaurant was clean menu was good. Food was quick and fresh and yummy! I tried a Red Wine 🍷 this time called, Lambrusco, and it was sweet and sparkly. Good place to eat.

Food was amazing and very tasty, the staff is the nicest, and the place is so nice! Great environment and also great location. I would 100% recommend this place if you are looking for a nice Italian restaurant in the upper west side. Their lamb is the best 10/10 btw!

I was delighted to stumble upon Bella Luna. Just a few blocks north of Central Park, Bella Luna is nestled on a quiet street corner that gave THE coziest, most romantic vibes.

Their table bread? CHEF'S KISS. Pasta portions? GINORMOUS. Wine? GREAT SELECTION. Is it the best Italian spot in New York? Probably not, but the prices are excellent for what you get.
