Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain Inn

I stayed at the stone lodge this passed weekend and omg it was so adorable and accommodating. Outside of our room in the stone lodge was a kitchenette area with a fire place, dining room table, and a microwave. Due to Covid the dining hall is closed but we brought food from home so we were able to reheat it there but the front desk also provided restaurants near by that deliver.
The day we left we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast at the inn lodge and than we walked to the zoo. The Bear Mountain zoo was a must with really interesting animals and facts. The front desk was also very helpful with directions and questions involving the area.
We stayed in a queen room which was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was really nice as well. After hiking all day it was the perfect place to shower and relax. I would 100% come back during one of the warmer months and enjoy the front deck of the cabin facing the mountain or the row boats in the lake.
I can't say enough about how much I really enjoyed this place but the views are 100% worth it and breathtaking!

I highly recommend for any couples or groups to consider Bear Mountain for a short vacation or weekend getaway. It's refreshing to get away once in a while from the hustle and bustle of the city and indulge in nature. Bear Mountain has deals where you can rent the entire cottage which would be awesome for a group. Remember it is more convenient to bring a car if you are staying the Overlook Inn or Stone Cottage

The room was so cozy, such a rustic feel to the cabins. There is a living room area for all the guests to sit and enjoy the fireplace with one log that is provided free of charge to each room.

What is there to not like this place, you are in the middle of nowhere in the nature. Rooms are a little outdated but that’s okay for a night. We liked it, and we’ll come again.

The best was to describe the stone cottage is "glamping". It was exactly what I expected. It was a warm room and warm bed for the night. It suited our needs.

We rented out all 6 of the rooms in one cottage, so we have our own little home in the mountains. Very cozy!

This place is just beautiful ! I stayed here last year during the Foliage season ! You feel like you are the only One's and you are in the wilderness !
