They used to be great. Ever since changes papers are misplaced or I'm told to resend information I have already given to them during my Recertification process. In fact, I come in with the originals and copies, so they don't have to make copies. I'm still dealing with issues and it's almost April and my Recert was back in December. I don't know what this office is doing, but it has been very concerning why they don't seem to have paperwork I have already given. It worries me tremendously especially due to the fact this is confidential information. I've always paid my rent and always had a larger portion than Section 8, but the way they have been doing things recently and changing my Gross income to be more than it is, is very alarming they could do this to someone. Probably should give fewer stars, but I'm hoping it will turn around. They changed to have walk in hours and that's great, but the ability to reach someone now has been also incredibly hard to do. Emails, phone calls to and call backs are seldom. I wish I could use a rent income based instead, but where I'm at, it can't because I already use this program. I work for an office, and keep my papers in order, deal with money, and reports. So, imagine my surprise and concern with the issues I am having and haven't ever had before this past Recert. Hopefully, and this is the optimism speaking, they get it together.

They never answer their phone and they are horrible at even trying to get back to you if you leave a message so I would not recommend Peekskill section 8 to anyone.
