Depew Park

Depew Park-Peekskill, NY, is a great park to visit. Has easy to intermediate hiking trails, and very nice picnic areas with beautiful lakes, and playgrounds for kids. Park is maintained very well. In Peekskill there are nice residential areas, and by the RR Station nice restaurants and a nice park on the Hudson.

91 degrees in the shade. Its too hot. The cool breeze from the Hudson river helps to enjoy this park. Bring water and snacks. This place is good for reading books.

Great park. Excellent to bring the kids fishing, play sports, or just sit down on a bench!!!

This is really an outstanding park that has been well thought out . It offers many experiences oasis' that caters to a wide ranging public interest. It is certainly one of the absolute best parks in Westchester County.

Great place, I walk my dog there everyday!

We walked the trial behind this lake/pound. Saw a deer there.
It is allowed to fish in the pound. No license needed (did ask at the office at the lake). Catch and release only!
There should be Bass, Pike, trout and carp in there.
Did see one Bass only.

This park is great. There are diffirent activity areas in this park. U can play tennis or basket ball, bring ur own equipment, jog,skate,ride bikes,bbq, swim at pool there is a fee at pool.

Great park with a very nice playground. Parking is good too. I think that you should bring your own water. I saw a few H.S and Middle school students hanging out.. I guess there's only a few more days left for classes so why not.

A nice little local park swimming pool, tracks, baseball/football field, a little lake, and plenty of tails, including some that connect to other local parks. It is well maintained over all, there is some litter but not much, only the kind jerks throw around despite the plentiful garbage cans. It's prefect for my post-work, clear my head walks

Our daughter loves seeing the turtles and playing on the swings. Soon she will be running on the track.

Born and raised in Peekskill, NY although had been living "down south" for 8 years; I am compelled to write WOW! Fantastic job in some of the upgrades and additions, including top notch maintenance of the grounds! Even watched 3 kids fishing and pulling up 2-3lb large mouth bass!

Amazing space. Los of open area to run and play. Riding bikes and taking trails is easy and convenient. Having some of the road shut down to allow safer access is brilliant and should be permanent.

The park has alot of Renovated spaces. Lots of improvement. I go there to walk the tracks.

As town parks go, without equal on the open space side of things anyway. The structural part is minimal AND LET'S KEEP IT THAT WAY. 3 season bathrooms near the office and playground, two tracks, a soccer field (some of these facilities are reserved, or even dedicated to school use. Town pool in park and basket ball courts both within and directly adjacent. Easily accessible and once there, you can walk, run, or ride on your choice on paved road, dirt paths, or full on trail. Small but stocked pond with catch and release. Skating in winter (call ahead).

I fell in love in this park. Spent many a day walking the track and the trails, sitting beneath the gazebo and listening to stories. Many lunches and long gazes beside the pond, watching the birds and the bees and all sorts of wild creatures make this a favorite memory. And a fond place to revisit.

2 great walking or running tracks and football field that has the other track around it. Great to go for a walk around the park in the morning. Also has soccer field and I think it has 2 baseball fields and public swimming pool and kids pool.

Great park. Nice walking trails and convenient parking. Wonderful place to take kids and pets.

Nice park with plenty of parking, a public pool--which is open this year!--and plenty of walking trails, a nice picnic area and lake which can be fished.
