Beautiful place to visit, nice city, friendly people, great pizza 😋👍, nice local coffee shop, great view river, nice park to relaxing and meditating 🙏😊

I walked from Peekskill train station to the entral city about 15 minutes. Having lunch at the city and relaxing at the coffee shop. It was a great escape from the busy NYC. it takes 1hr 20min from Grand Central and costs only $13 one way off peak.

The City have many potential for tourist attractions. I should try hiking, trekking, or camping near Peekskill City. There's a mountain and park surrounding, hope the city has tourist information and more tourist attractions to visit 😊🙏. You have this potential, Peekskill 🙏🙏🙏

We went there in the afternoon, The temperature was a little bit high. So we did not get enough enthusiasm to explore all the area, sat under the tree and enjoyed the spectacular view from there.

I enjoy this park more with each and every visit. It’s one of my favorites in a 20 mile radius. Park a diner and watch the sunset, then walk to the creamery for nostalgic feel while eating ice cream.
Love the sculptures.
Keep an eye out for summer events.

Beautiful spot to view the river and the mountains. There’s a large playground and a paved wall to view the sculptures. Each has a little background about the artist, too.

The most beautiful waterfront in Westchester County. The paved walking path is perfect for a 1, 2, or 3 mile walk. And when you're done, stop in at The Central for coffee.

The River Front Park in Peekskill is one of the nicest places to visit in the area.

Interesting Art installations, a beautiful Riverwalk, and of course the River itself, make this a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

One of the best parks along the Hudson River. Ideal to spend the time with our loved ones, either doing an activity, or just sitting on the grass to watch an incredible sunset.

Great place to be at for families, children, retired... Go fishing or leisurely walk, play etc.

This park is very beautiful , it is a very small park to relax and sit or you can walk around ♡ I found the beauty in the water . I took some great photos here .

Interesting park running along the Hudson with a long trail for walking. There's a playground and restrooms in Peekskill, and several places to eat. Fantastic views of the river and the hills to the west.

Great spot to sit, have lunch, and enjoy the view.

We were able to get free parking and walk along the magnificent Hudson River in all its glory. The plantings and flowers were beautiful.

Delicious places to eat or grab a bite. There’s a fabulous ice cream shop (can’t remember the name now), on the road leading to the park entrance.

Lovely walk along the Hudson. Plenty of paid parking.

perfect place for morning workout or meditation... 4 legged friends allowed and they love it! have a coffee and treat at the Brewery or Bakery..right next door

I live in peekskill for at last 20 years, move between towns around but come back to live here. Not only I love it here because it is close to all you need, also
I enjiy Peekskill have the water front park where I can bring my 6 years old son to run free on the grass field and enjoy playing with new friends at the playground; we also an e joy the water view, enjoy as a Dad and Son to view the nature, goose and have fun building our own version of wood, leaves boats and play with the water.
The sunsets are amazing, and just to be there, make you feel relaxed until you hear the horn from the train who pass every 15 minutes, but it is ok.
In the summer they have many events from concerts to ferias and more so you can enjoy the warm weather.
They have paths to walk for miles from peekskill to Buchanan town.
Either way by yourself for a walk or with your kids, you will enjoy the peace amd a beautiful views.
