Clark County Public Library

This library is very nice, and it's big! Besides a large selection of books, they offer a lot here for free, including a sound booth, a seating area, a play area in the children's section, and different events and programs. There are some interesting characters at times inside and outside the building, but I've never had any problems there and there are security personnel in the building. It's a really beautiful library and it's worth a visit!

The Clark County Public Library is a wonderful library. I'm addition to have a wide variety of books for young readers to adults, it also has board have, music, puzzles, and video games that can be checked out. I will frequently check out a newer video game to see if it is worth buying. What really awesome is that they will auto-renew your checkout for you and if you are late returning an item- no late fees!

Another cool thing is that there are various groups that meet up at the various branches- D&D, anime club, Lego club, book reading clubs (ok that one's kinda obvious), board games, etc. so if you wanted to form a club and host in a branch, it can happen. 😉

This library was very close to my hotel, in walking distance actually, so my toddler and I took a small adventure while dad was at his weightlifting competition. We had lots of fun. She met a nice little boy there who was teaching her how to flip and he taught her how to play with the felt pieces on the walls. The library looked very pretty, it was clean and quiet. Plenty of unique and colorful lighting, even the artwork on the walls impressed me and my baby. The searing in the children's area was just right for kids. It was strong, sturdy and totally clean.

We get movies from the Clark County Library and if they don't have what we are looking for they will go out of their way to get it for us. The staff has always been kind and very informative about any questions we may have. It's so nice to have this library close. It's a terrific place to go because I will always find something different I haven't seen before. I would recommend going to just check it out. I really don't think they will disappoint. It's a beautiful place and very relaxing.

So much to offer here! The kiddos love the learning games on the computers in the children’s area. I personally love the free genealogy sources. So many free apps and online resources with the access of your library card Hoopla, Fold 3, Kanopy, and many others.

Always had a good time at the library. I brought my child now 44yr, my grandkids now 23 and 17 and now my great grand child now 3yr. A lovely place!

I really love this library and all of the librarians are very helpful. If you need help searching for a particular book they will even check other branches to see what is available.

This is one of the best places that Clark county has. My family has so many great memories at the Library. The summer reading program is super awesome for kids. Now that my kids are a lot older and I am taking classes for myself I'm their every day the staff is still and has always been AMAZING!!!!

It's always a pleasure to come visit this library! Staff is always courteous, kind and professional. I never have any issues finding interesting things.

The library almost always has what I need. The few times it didnt, the librarians were always so helpful in ordering it. The kids section is great and my toddler daughter loves getting books.
Its always clean and well taken care of.

Stopped at Reference desk for directions to Micro film. Gentleman helped me get started. Sorry I failed to get his name. Found what I needed.
First time inside since remodeled. Looks fabulous.

The employees are great I'm sure, but this place can sometimes have an unfavorable male presence. Otherwise it's fine. I'm glad that they have child rearing books. I would be so lost without this place

This is a good place to keep up your education. Sure, you can use the internet there, but there is so much more that appeals to those of us who are more hands-on. Personally, I read Young Adult fiction, particularly Sci-Fi, and the selection is fantastic. Staff is very helpful and, the few times I have owed over-due book fines, no one got ugly about it. A major bonus: check out the new meeting rooms!

Springfield has a wonderful library with wide variety of programs and resources for the entire community. Its a great local resource to have for our community. Employees are friendly and helpful in assisting your needs.Good job to the staff and to our local library. 😁👌👍

There's a water fountain, copier, cellphone charger, restroom, and plenty of tables/chairs to sit & read books here.
