We were having trouble with our floor drain overflowing in the basement. They came out and cleared the line back to the outlet in the alley. Now we're able to do laundry again without flooding the basement. Great rates too. My wife and I were very pleased with the service we received.

Great service! Called for what I thought was a clogged toilet drain due to gurgling sound when flushed. He checked all the outside cleanouts before checking the inside drains. Once inside he quickly determined that the problem was not the toilet but a dry trap under the tub that was right next to the toilet in the same bathroom. We never use that tub so he figured the trap either dried out or, as the toilet repeatedly flushed, it pulled the water from the trap as it flowed by in the same drain line. He ran water in the tub for a few seconds, flushed the toilet, and the problem was gone. Fixed the problem and refused to take any payment because, according to him, he didn't have to fix anything. Highly recommend. If we need a plumber in the future we will definitely call him again.

Riley's came out to solve my problem, an unflushable toilet, which had fixed itself overnight. He was so kind and very reasonable in his charge (wouldn't take anything). I'm a disabled senior and it really helped me I will only use him and highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

This guy has come to our rescue twice now when we had a clog down the line and took care of it. Super nice, gets the job done quickly, and local from the area. The price was so fair. Just to be clear, both times were spread apart like 2 years so, it was our issue. He offered to come back if it didn't work but they (his son joined him the second time) did such a good job each time that we never had to. They were super respectful of me as a woman who likes to learn and has a lot of questions. I would 1 million percent recommend them for any clog you may have. You would not be disappointed. I'm so glad we found them!

Called on a holiday weekend with a drain issue. Everything was backing up in the house. Arrived quickly and got the drains opened up. Very courteous and professional.

I called Dave as a referral from a contractor after I had another company at my house to fix whatever was causing a sewage backup into my main bathtub. The other company removed a toilet, ran a camera into the line and said it stopped at about 6' in due to a "severe compaction." They charged me $350 for the camera, broke my toilet flange and charged me $150 to fix that and my toilet now sits 5/8" off the floor and rocks, and they told me they'd have to bring the hydro jet out and charge me $1100 minimum, with no guarantee that they could "drill through" the compaction. So $500 later, I still had a clog causing my sewage backup. Oh, and did I mention they removed the cap on the main waste line, put a bucket under it and didn't tell me that, so it ran all over my crawl space floor? That's another couple thousand dollars to have removed. Be VERY careful who you call.

Dave came out and went directly to the crawl space to assess the plumbing setup, determined he'd have to pull the other toilet because that's how you get directly to the line (previous owner built a bedroom addition over the cleanout), cleaned the main waste line, didn't break my toilet when he put it back, and I haven't had a problem since. There was no compaction, just an old line that needed cleaned. Go figure!

I just got off the phone with Dave to see if he could fix the toilet flange problem the other plumber caused, but he doesn't do flange work. I'll tell you that I'd hire Dave for anything that needed done around my house if I could talk him into doing it. He's just as honest, friendly, and professional as anyone you'll ever meet. We were chatting about the first plumber's incompetence today and he joked that, "All this time, I thought I was just a drain cleaner. Turns out I'm a Super Genius." He may have been joking, but what I know is I have someone I trust to help out next time I have a problem and that he saved me at least $1,100 on a totally useless hydro jet and who knows what else from that other plumber. He's a Super Genius by my standards! Call him. You won't regret it.

Left a message for Dave Sunday afternoon he returned my call early Monday morning. Came out first thing got my drains cleaned. Very professional neat clean work at affordable rate. Would definitely use his services again if needed.

Had roots in the main drain that runs out to the street causing a pretty serious back up. I called in the morning and they came out the same day in a terrible storm. They got me squared away in no time. Highly recommend couldn't be more satisfied. Will definitely use in the future. Cash or check only FYI

Used Dave twice on our historic home. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else over him! He does his job well, prices you efficiently/honestly and will come back out of a similar issue arises to troubleshoot and fix it completely. 5 stars deserved!

I had 3 separate roto rooter employees try and clear my main line over two day. They told me it would cost thousands to fix and they would have to dig up my yard. Dave and his son cleared the line in about an hour. Very fun to talk to and just great guys.

Hired Dave to clean out a drain at my Fathers house that was causing water to a back up into the basement every time the water purification system completed a cleaning cycle. Dave spent considerable time cleaning that drain as well as two outside drains servicing the gutters. He went above and beyond our expectations and solved the issue. He also completed the extra step to call me afterwards to walk through all the details. When I received the bill I was shocked, as I expected it to be two to three time more. It was a true pleasure to work with Dave and I will recommend him to everyone. He is excellent at what he does and has integrity in how he runs his business.

Dave brings a level of professionalism, honesty, class and expertise that just doesn’t exist much anymore. His name is the business, he’s the one who answers the phone or will call you back, he’s the one who will show up at your door, he’s the one who will fix the issue. It’s refreshingly old school service, done the right way. He was recommended from a neighbor when I bought my home 5 years ago and I’m thankful for this. He is the only person I call or will call for clogged drain related issues. You call, you leave a message and he calls you back early the next morning if he doesn’t answer, because he is on other jobs. It’s like this every time. I even called and left a message requesting who he recommended for a plumber to redo the piping in my basement, because he only does clogged pipes. He called me back at 7:45am the next morning with his recommendations.

It was a rough day. Water all over my basement laundry room. My neighbor referred my to Dave Riley and I cannot even express how grateful I am for their quick turnaround. I called after 11AM and by 3:30 they had loaded their gear into my basement after doing a check on a few things and getting a sense of the issue. Great price and they were very helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Awesome Service. Who WANTS to have sewage issues? No one, that's who. but if you ARE having problems with backup or a slowed system Dave is your guy to call. VERY HONEST, works quickly, and VERY reasonably priced. I also appreciate the fact that he cleans up after himself. That hasn't been the case with other local plumbers that we have had. Also, unlike other locals he tells you up front what the cost is going to be with no hidden fees or extras.
