Our family has been enjoying Plaza Pizza since they opened. It has always been our go to pizza place.
I recently reached out to see if they would be interested in doing a dine to donate night for Lakewood Intermediate School's playground fund. They quickly & without hesitation agreed! They were wonderful to work with from start to finish! We are very greatful for their support & look forward to working with them again (& enjoying their pizza!).

THE PEOPLE THERE ARE KIND, ALWAYS SHOW US GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NEVER DISAPPOINT!!! IF YOU HAVENT TRIED IT, YOU MUST! Already started digging into this one on the way home! Couldn't wait!

Plaza Pizza isn't just my favorite pizza: it's my absolute favorite food. My three-year-old learned my phone number by heart from hearing me order so much. It's that good! 10000/10

The best pizza I’ve found in Newark! I love a good crispy thin crust and have a preference to cauliflower crust. This one is so good! Great cheese, sauce, spices, and toppings! (Pepperoni and mushroom…classic :D) I will order again for sure! My husband got a large regular crust with pepperoni and pineapple and he loves it too!

It takes a long time on Friday but it's because the pizza is amazing and all us locals want some. I've been eating this pizza since I can remember. So delicious!

Glad to see the new owners have kept the recipe and great taste while modernizing the operation with online ordering. If you know you know when it comes to Plaza. Git ya some.

This is our new favorite pizza place! My husband loved the pepperoni pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza is like none I have had before... simply delicious!

This is the best pizza in Newark, possibly the best pizza anywhere. Thin, flakey crust, perfectly spiced sauce, lots of fresh toppings... If you have never tried Plaza Pizza you need to try one today. Your life will not be complete until you do.

Plaza pizza is delicious and worth the drive from where we live which is about 20 minutes away. We loved the first one so much we ordered it again the very next night!

This pizza is constantly on my mind. It could be breakfast, lunch, & dinner in my opinion. Incredible establishment.

They have modernized some things, cauliflower crust, online ordering, and delivery through door dash.

Back in the day you had to call in and you would have to keep dialing until you didn't get a busy signal, lol. So online ordering is a very nice update for this old school pizza shop.

I have always loved Plaza Pizza and I am so excited that there’s another location now! The pizza is great, always fresh and hands down my absolute favorite thin crust pizza ever. The toppings are the best quality in my experience. I almost always get the pepperoni with mushrooms and black and green olives. Thank you for being my favorite pizza place! I can’t wait to make Plaza Pizza once again a part of my pizza Friday nights :)

We've wanted for so long to try Plaza Pizza but haven't lived locally for a while and it's not very close. After trying it for the first time I'm asking myself how the heck I've lived in Licking County for most of my life and not had it lol.
A bit of a wait because they're so busy and the only reason I mention that is I promise it's more than worth the wait.
I highly recommend you give it a try. Definitely our new favorite Pizza place.

Where do I even begin...one of the greatest pizza joints of our generation. My whole life I’ve been supporting small businesses because frankly, they rock and corporate pizza joints don’t care as much about the customer. The smell that comes out that take out window instantly has your mouth watering. I rate their cheese pizza an easy 9.5 out of 10. Family owned and managed. The owner Brian is an incredible individual and truly knows how to tend to the customers needs and wants. He also has a heart forged of solid gold. As well as his sister and brother. This establishment doesn’t just make pizza, they make an impact on people’s hearts. Get over to Plaza Pizza. You won’t regret it. And Make sure you tell them Caleb sent ya.

In roughly 40 years of eating Plaza, the pizza and torpedo that we had Friday night were second to none. The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the torpedo cheese was melted to where it is crispy on the edges. Mouthwatering... it just doesn't get any better. Whenever an establishment changes hands, there is always the concern of it not being up to the standards set by the previous owners. Not only have I been blown away by the quality of both product and service from the new ownership, but the consistency has been incredible. So excited knowing I hopefully have a couple more decades of enjoying Plaza with my family.

First time ordering from this place, and I must say, the family absolutely loved it! It was made quickly considering our order size, and is definitely one of, if not the best, pizza I've had around where I live! Will definitely be checking this place back out again! Staff was nice and professional, and when we arrived early even offered to bring the food out to us at the car when it was finished!

Where ever I travel I like to try good local food. Let's just say I love to travel and eat 🙂 I recently visited my family in Ohio and as they know I am a big lover of thin crust pizza, they recommended their local mom and pop pizza place, Plaza Pizza. They would get their pizza from Plaza a couple of times a month. I said, sure let's go and find out what's all the hype about.
My my my were they right! First of all I have to praise the staff that were super nice. I bet the owners keep the friendly and almost family like atmosphere. Everyone was smiling and actually enjoyed their work. We did wait for our tasty piece of goodness for about 25 min but that just shows you how good they actually are. As we waited, the queue just kept getting bigger and bigger. We were there during the week but I bet during the weekends folks just swarm the place. The 2 of us ordered „All the Meats“ pizza and the „Italian Salad“ without the banana peppers. The salad was super tasty and complemented the meaty rich pizza perfectly. The thin crust in combo with the meats made the pizza melt in our mouths. They are super gracious and not stingy at all with their fresh ingredients. Loved it!
While we were still in the area, we went there one more time and ordered a pepperoni pizza and an apple pie they call Shirley Lou. Tasted similar to the one my grandmother used to make. You can bet that made me reminisce.
I highly recommend Plaza Pizza and wish I could order it right now in my country! When I come back to the US, that place will see me again 😊 In the meantime I keep enjoying the photos my family sends me eating Plaza Pizza.
