Great store! Fantastic selection of all things comics and more. My favorite comic shop in the Columbus area. I always find Pokemon cards, comics, toys, something fun to bring home to my kiddo! Worth a stop anytime. Plus, hit the mall while you're here - Indian Mound Mall is the best!

This place has been my go-to comic shop for years.  They have a vast array of comic books both new and old that you could spend hours browsing, and I have.  They even offer subscription services so that you never miss out on a new issue of your favorite comic series.

The staff and owner are friendly and knowledgeable.  First and foremost, they're fans themselves.  They're up to date on the goings-on of the comic universes.  They can even give you a heads-up on comics coming out or provide recommendations based on your preferences.  All you have to do is ask!

And don't forget game nights!  Feel free to join them for Friday night Magic tournaments, or sit down and play a game of Pokémon, or even HeroClix.  If you play it, chances are they've got a night for it.  They also participate in Free Comic Book Day the first Saturday in May every year!

From comics, to card games like Pokémon and Magic the Gathering, to tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Catan, this place has everything you're looking for and more.

Whether you're trying to get back into comics or are just starting out, or even just in the mood for a wave of nostalgia, if you're ever in the neighborhood, feel free to stop in and check them out.  In my opinion, nobody does what they do better.  I'm a customer for life.

Awesome place to find a comic book story line that you’re following or just wanting to look around and try. They have old and new comic books. Collectible and hardcover comics. Owner is super friendly and down to earth. Not once have a felt stupid for asking basic comic questions. Maybe this could be a new hobby for someone, this would be the best place to start. They also have several different table top board game packs and add ons. Very solid place.

The owner is such a nice guy! He worked with my husband and I for about an hour on some new board games and gave us some really great options! Walked out with lots of fun games and some leftover cash. Prices are great, can’t complain about this place at all!

I visited my first time a about 6 months ago and have been back almost monthly since. They have a great selection of comics and games. As someone newly getting into comic collecting, the owner was patient and took time to answer all of my questions while explaining things to look for. Jeremy is the best. Since he bought out the prior owner (even though he’d basically be running it anyway) the store has gotten better. Always has plenty of product, a clean, organized store and a variety for everyone from comics, figured, RPG accessories, TCG product and accessories. I love that he tries new things and tries to encourage people to leverage the gaming area in his shop to bring people together. One of my favorite locations ever.

I am diggin the new location. Seems like a better layout and a little more play area. I am mostly a magic the gathering player but they obviously carry the comics and in addition, board games and accessories. I like the card wall by the counter. It allows for quick browsing to see if they have a card you are looking for specifically. Worth checking out.

they are super friendly always willing to help and never condescending. if they don't have it immediately, they can get it for you with no problems! even when i was a new customer they were always super friendly. they run their card games well and always have a great stock of other types of games that are fun to play with friends. easily one of my favorite places on earth. even if i moved out of newark id still come back just for the comic shop plus!

Great place to shop for comic books, trading card games, table top games, and more. In addition to merchandise they also have space to play, and a "library" of board games you can check out to play there. The owner, Jeremy, is a great guy and always friendly to his customers.

Great comic shop, has huge selection of old and new comics, collectibles, Pokemon cards and Magic! If you are looking for a hard to find piece to add to your collection they are bound to have it. The owner is a great guy who has built up a amazing atmosphere and community around his shop.

This place has been around for as long as I can remember, and it deserves all the good fortune in the world. The owner will remember you, care about your needs, and make sure you feel welcomed at all times.

This store has a little bit of everything for everyone. If you don't see it be sure to ask. It may be in the back waiting to be stocked. I found several key books for my collections.

It seems a bit odd for me to leave a review as I was the owner for 30 years but I have to voice my appreciation for what the new owner Jeremy has done since purchasing the store. He has moved it to a better location and improved the operation. Through his love of the customers and industry Jeremy has saved the home for new and old customers for years to come. I could not be prouder of the work they have done with continuing the legacy of a place that everyone is welcome and they deal fairly and ethically with all customers.

I suggest you stop in and meet the amazing staff and see why an old owner could not be prouder.

The owner is absolutely great. Very helpful and friendly. I know nothing about comics or any of that stuff and he was very willing to help.

Great selection in-stock of some hard to find board games. Friendly staff with an extrordinary knowledge base (given the sheer volume of odd, one-off gaming companies out there). Willing to order anything you need that isn't on their shelves.

Awesome little place where I could spend hours just looking through the books and games and cards they have. I've always left there with something that makes me and my kids happy. Highly recommend.

The Comic Shop Plus is the best game in town when you're looking to nerd out in real space. They actively support multiple hobbies and do their best to keep the place organized including a dedicated play space (though you should probably update those tables and chairs!).

The manager, Jeremy, is a long time friend to all customers. I don't even live in the city anymore, rarely seeing the place for sometimes even a year or two at a time but I'm always greeted by name and a smile. He's held product for me several times, often for months and always offered fair prices and competitive trades.
