Super China

My family and I have been frequenting here since it first opened. I have always been treated so kindly, and the food has always been wonderful. I know the ownership has recently changed, and it is not the same. This doesn't mean better. This doesn't mean worse. For now, it does not mean anything other than just different. For a comparison, I ordered some of our regular stuff with a different meal as well. My sesame chicken and Singapore chow mei fun were not as good. They were good, but not as tasty. The Sesame chicken had less flavor, and my noodles had much less bite to them and much less meat in it than previous. With our wonton soup, the broth was tasty, but the dumplings did not chew right and kind of stuck to my teeth in a weird manner.

Our spring rolls and egg roll were the BEST. They were perfect. I also got a meal purposely I had never had before so as not to compare to a different cook. We got the four seasons. This may be my new favorite, especially if my noodles aren't going to have a kick anymore. We are absolutely going to go back. This places tenure and how they've served us and our community for so long gives this place a standing 5 star to me. If they are going to keep it from us though, I do think there is some figuring to do in the kitchen yet.

I been eating here for 12 years. This 5 star is for the previous owners. I haven't tried it since it changed owners but I was saddened when I heard they sold it to new owners and I feel I must speak out for the previous owners and thank them for 12 wonderful years of delicious food for myself and family and for everything always prepared so nicely. Again I want to be clear this is based on my 12 years eating here under the previous owners and not the new owners because I haven't tried it yet under the new owners.

Hot sour soup was vegetable packed and delicious. Hunan chicken and bourbon chicken were great! New owners doing it right! Give them a try!

Super China is easily the best place for Chinese carry out in the greater Akron area. They have a variety of different dinners to choose from. I personally like the Pepper Steak and Onion but I also like their shrimp and crab fried rice which comes with plenty of meat. Plus they have shrimp egg rolls which I have found a lot of places don't carry. They're definitely my top choice for Chinese food.

Good food, and extremely fair prices for the portion size. Woman on the phone was very pleasant (as well as in person) and my food was hot and ready when I came to pick it up. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was exactly what I wanted and expected from a quick Chinese takeout. An all around easy, satisfying experience. Thanks for the comfort food! I'll be back.

I was born and raised in Barberton and have gone to many Chinese restaurants around the country, but I always miss and want Super China. Whenever I come into town, it’s the food I crave and always get. Love the owners…have known them since I was little. So kind and they know my favorite order haha. You guys are great and thank you!

My family has been eating at Super China forever! My family has become friends with the family that owns this place and they are the nicest people. The food is always hot and made to order. Portion sizes are good. The only thing I don’t like is their new plastic containers. Other than that, everything here is great!

The restraunt is absolutely my favorite Chinese place. The staff is friendly and the chefs take pride in their work. It is a small family owned business, which is one of the reasons for my 5 star , they don't deliver BUT .... the prices are budget friendly, you get a good amount of food, and take out orders come in a nifty plastic container that you can reuse (if that's your thing). Clean, family friendly. No dine in but you can pick up.

Portions have become smaller, but the quality is excellent! If you want tasty Asian cuisine, don't miss out! And even though portions are smaller than before, you still get plenty! Prices are very good in comparison to other comparable restaurants.

In complete honesty, a great place. The food is excellent. I never really liked Chinese food, but after having it here I must say I am a fan now. Seeing the food cooked by people who obviously know what they are doing is great. In no way is the credit card issue a problem. Paying with cash is totally fine when I am getting good food. Definitely will be going back in the future. Not to mention they recently remodeled and it looks modern! A great place!

Honestly one of the best Chinese places I've been to, from the Covid measures they put in place to overall quality of the food, they wait until you arrive to even bag up your food so its guaranteed fresh! The portions are huge which is great especially for the price, only literally the only bad thing I could say is that I had to stop at an atm before going there because they don't accept debit card or credit card payments, cash only, still that shouldn't deter you from tasting this amazing food!

This place was really good. There prices were pretty much the normal amount that you would pay at a chinese restraunt. The over all taste of there food was very delicious and the man that took my order was very helpful and friendly. So I would definitely recommend this place to others and eat there many more times here on out.

I love this place. Recently moved to Barberton and so glad to be closer to this place. I absolutely love their orange chicken. They have the best egg rolls. Portions are big. Way more than enough for 2 meals. Service is good and fast and employees are friendly.

All of you complaining about the customer service have obviously never worked in a kitchen before. Why dont you work in a tiny kitchen where it can reach almost 200 degrees for 8 plus hours and let me know how happy you are about it. The owners and employees are chinese and dont speak good english. Guess what? Its a chinese restuarant. If you want american food go to an american food joint. Ive been a regular to this location for many years and to me they have the best chinese food around. Their prices are good and you get a lot of food for your buck. Ive never had to wait for than 20 minutes even on weekends. I also like that they dont have a buffet so the food is fresh. All of you negative Nancy's need to find better things to do than give negative reviews on family owned businesses who work 7 days a week to feed people who dont want cook for themselves. Super china in barberton rocks.

Food is pretty good. Average pricing and decent portions. Delivery is cash only and slow. But they warn you it is going to be slow and they are always accurate with their estimate's. Never had a single mistake from the either.

My husband and I order f here regularly. I've never had bad food or service ever f here. We just placed our order and will be eating it with in 20 min. I love the staff and the owners of Super China !!! T.Y. for the wonderful food and great service !!! ❤

Honestly this place is my favorite for Chinese food. Yeah you could go to pfchangs and break your bank, just to get some fancy food, or..... You could come here for some food that is truly amazing ♥ everybody here is friendly, and they are very hard workers. Communicate clearly and don't be rude, and you will have a great time. 😃 My favorite is the sesame chicken the orange chicken and the general tso, and of course the amazing crab meat cheese rangoon's 😁😁😁😁 also, they have some truly unique bottled drinks in here, if you are a foodie you will most definitely appreciate that! I'm talking about the glass marble pop bottles. It's okay if you don't know what I'm talking about, when you get there look in the drink cooler. Then you never turn back 😎😎
