My family and I were there this afternoon, the tacos were yummy as always. We have been coming here for years and never disappointed. It gets a little crowded but is all worth it.

Been coming here for years and they've always been excellent. Best taco shop in my opinion and way better than that overpriced nonsense at Tacos El Gordo. I would recommend coming right when they open because the wait can be brutal at rush hour or just call ahead of time. My personal favorite is the tacos con cabeza which are juicy and always fresh. Plus they have a great selection of salsas to go with it as well. I don't have any photos because I always destroy the tacos before I think to take a picture. It's a very hole in the wall type of restaurant and I haven't been disappointed by any of the stuff they've they've put out.

Carne asada. Them mini tacos were excellent with the pinto beans inside, I need more. The tacos didn’t have any fat in the meat NONE.

Very good tacos and burritos. Large variety of meat choices and excellent salsa bar. Great and friendly staff

Great little hole in the wall! We drove right by it because we thought it was someone's house. There's a cute little outdoor area behind the tiny restaurant with a matching house next to that, and a small parking lot in front of the house. I loved the chicken burrito and my son loved the carne asada tacos. Delicious verde salsa (the lighter colored creamy one)!

Great little hole in the wall! I had their carne asada burrito and it was delicious and huge! They have a great salsa bar. Finally a LA good taco spot in San Marcos.

These are probably the best tacos I have ever had. They come with beans, which are also delicious. The carnitas are magical

First tried it a couple months ago and have been back at least once a week since then. Although I've only ever had the tacos, they're more than good enough to have me coming back again and again.

Phenomenal. The outside has plenty of room for sitting especially when it's a beautiful 80° out. Highly recommend the pastor, carne asada and I think the tripa. Unfortunately, the last few times that I've gone they didn't have any for some reason.

Tacos with a smile. Nice assortment of salsas. Happy folks enjoying happy tacos. Best name in the taco business. Can’t go wrong. Good price also. Whoop score was in the green the next morning.

Small taco shack with some amazing food. They put white beans in their tacos, which I guess saves me from scooping them up separately 😆. Their red salsa is bomb, and they have cucumbers in salsa that resembles kimchi.

Also, very little parking. 7 narrow spots including a handicapped stall.

Mr. Taco has managed to stay in business for many years because of their delicious authentic Mexican dishes. They trim their meat so you get less fat and more beef. Their prices are very reasonable, not to mention exceptionally delicious. I recommend Mr Taco for their scrumptious Mexican food, located in the city of beautiful San Marcos.

I’ve always been a burrito person. I ate 6 grande tacos here a year ago. Now I’m a taco person looking for a better taco. Haven’t found one yet.

Amazing street tacos with a great variety. Have to come eat to experince Mexican street tacos.

Amazing food here, the Adobada is off the charts, it's crispy, savory, spicy, and filling. Get it in a quesadilla and you'll have a wonderful, simple meal that makes you want more. I used to come here back in college and would grab some Adobada tacos or quesadillas before heading to Astronomy class. Great memories, and the staff here are so nice.

Really good tacos- the Adobada is absolutely amazing! Reasonably priced, fun wall decor, highly recommend it. I always ask for no beans on my tacos, so I can't say anything about them. The salsa bar is also nice
