Dish Cafe and Catering

I love the food and the people working here. Homey feel. Definitely one of the places in Reno that I am going to keep going back to. I tried their catering too and absolutely loved it! Awesome food.

The food is always fresh and they use high quality ingredients. The homey feel of the mismatched decor make me feel like I'm going to Grandma's to eat - in a really good way! My husband and I eat here almost weekly. Yummy food and excellent service! The art is really cool too!

Are you looking for extraordinary food for your Baby or Bridal Shower or “Sprinkle”? DISH Cafe in Reno, NV is your answer! The boxed brunch menu that they created for our daughter’s shower had everyone raving! The lavender vanilla scones and chocolate espresso scones were heavenly, the curried chicken salad sandwiches were scrumptious and the chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting melted in your mouth! They even provided an option for our gluten sensitive guests for dessert (chocolate oat haystacks) and vegetarian boxed lunch options!!

We were particularly grateful that the food came boxed and individually packaged. This put our guests at ease during COVID season.

To our surprise, it was quite a challenge to find a restaurant that was willing to do boxes but DISH was not only happy to, they had a variety of menu options for us to choose from!! Thanks again to the staff at DISH!

Oh my gosh, probably the best place for lunch in Reno/Sparks. The food is locally sourced for many of the menu items and the Taste is exquisite.

Salads are huge and delicious. One of my favorite is to get the quiche of the day and salad together. Their specialty sandwiches are out of this world , especially anything with tri-tip or chicken.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It appears that everyone who works at the Dish Cafe loves their job.

And for a special treat, don't forget to get one of their cupcakes! If they have not run out of the white wine cupcake, it will literally melt in your mouth! And the attached picture, my friend Christine is featuring one of their red velvet cupcakes.

Sandwiches are very large portion which you'll probably need to take home to enjoy tomorrow! Same with the salads. Easy to split or take home to enjoy the Dish Cafe again later. Eclectic Cafe, which is a great place to bring out of town guests who are looking for a wonderful place to eat and have a taste of Reno. I recommend arriving before 11:45 a.m. so they are not too busy.

Always amazing. Their salads are crisp and fresh. Their food all together is great and the staff is wonderful. I had the Caesar salad and the Sicilian chicken sandwich which complimented each other very well. I do recommend that you go over there before 12. That's when it is lunch time at Renown and many of the staff head over for lunch. Or call ahead and order.

Yum!! One of my absolute favorite lunch places. Unique twists and awesome ingredients make this a for sure winner every time!

Leave room for dessert or plan to take one to go - they are scrumptious!

I've had their food at catered events too and it's wonderful. If I ever need to have something catered, this will be the place to do it!

Dish is and has always been an awesome little cafe. It's obvious that they put a great deal of thought and energy into making great food using fresh, organic, locally sourced ingredients. They are creative in their menu and everything is delicious and healthy.

It can get quite busy during the lunch hour so if you can get there a little early it could be helpful!

Small friendly place. Great place to stop for a good breakfast or coffee. Their scones are the best

Absolutely wonderful food, and incredibly kind staff! They were very quick to help me out, because there's no menu posted, but there are small ones on the counter to look at. It was rainy today, so there was a pretty small line. I ordered the Can Can, it was FANTASTIC. I also got a cup of creamy parmesan vegetable soup, and holy smokes, I want the recipe. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I will definitely be going again.

The first time I had dish cafe was at work. Some drug rep catered from them. They catered their famous salad. That was one of the delicious salads I had. The lettuce, strawberries, and onion are fresh. they are famous for their organic locally raised delicious beef. Their honey based dressing added a sweet amazing flavor.

Coo little spot. Smelled awesome but I only stopped in for coffee. Always looking for little spots as an alternative to SBucks or the typical chains. I drink black coffee. There Dish Cafe blend was smooth and perfect for a nice cold morning. Definitely going to have to come back to try the food!

Dish Cafe does sandwiches right! I found you through a Google search and man am I glad! Your Sicilian Panini was so good! I also enjoyed the Mamacita. I see why you are Food Network famous! I'll eat here when I come back to Reno!

Came here for breakfast with clients: small, sort of low key place near Renown hospital. No interior bathroom.

That being said, breakfast was great. Wonderful food. Cooked exactly as it was requested, the bacon was amazing.

Dined in for only the second time in a year. I mainly use the Dish for catering my monthly events and other special occasions.
I was craving a Reuben. The dish has one of thee best “Megan’s Famous Reubens” I have ever had!! The use High Quality pastrami, instead of the fatty beef brisket, the marble Rye swirl bread, is delis, kraut, Swiss and their secret sauce. So delicious!!!! If you never had a Reuben you must try this one!

Did you know March is national Reuben sandwich month. In Omaha Nebraska March 14th is national Reuben sandwich day😛

This is a wonderful place for great food. Very eclectic menus, locally sourced with ambience. Pricing is fair, selection is great and also has daily specials. Located near Renown Hospital so it is very busy at lunchtime. Often sells out of the special and the daily desserts. Come early.

I loved the food and the friendly staff. They seem really relaxed and laid back. I recommend the meatloaf but only Monday through Wednesday was recommended by the staff. Last trip I had the funky tri tip salad and it was all goodness.

Amazing, organic meals. Great selection. Gluten free options. Attentive waitpeople. Fresh ingredients prepared from local suppliers. Come early for lunch to get your pick of seat in in retro style tables and chairs.

Hands down the best quiche in Reno! The people are pretty friendly, even amongst all the hullabaloo of preparing for the day's catering orders. Excellent coffee too!

When ever there is a teacher training, the best part of the day is the lunch break that is shared with teacher friends at Dish. It is close to the building where our trainings are held and has something for everyone. The Cowgirl sandwich is my favorite, yummy tri-tip and goat cheese, caramelized onions. So good, and I can have half a sandwich and a salad or soup and be so happy.

Holy cow I have falling in love with this place. The customer service is amazing just like the food. Oh and the coffee is great too! It's my families new favorite place
