Was only in and out to grab one thing. As far as Safeways go it seemed just as nice as the best of them. One of the patrons was nice enough to let me a head in line with my one item, unfortunately the fellow in front of her, who had like 50 items, was not so generous hahahaha

It’s a Safeway. Great food great selection easy to find everything. Staff is friendly. The checkout lines do seem to be a bit crowded at times.

I especially love the stay in my vehicle shopping. Prices are great. Wonderful selection too. Mae Anne store is one of the better stores in Reno. You get great gas points too.

The store is always clean. They have a wide variety of foods. Great deals for $5 Fridays in every department.

The prices can be a bit high on some items but if you ask you can often get a discount of some sort. Using the member discount and rewards items is a must, you can save 10 to 30% depending on your total. The flower shop is amazing in price, service, and selection. Also, the service is phenomenal, employees in the store and pharmacy go above and beyond in their service especially if you ask or kindly complain about something... they are very accommodating, kind, and helpful. They are the reason I go back and sometimes pay more for some items. Good RX at the pharmacy took some scripts from 300+ to $40 on one and $14 and $5 on others. Amazing. Best GoodRx prices in town on many items. Must check it out. It's my go-to store for many needs. I'm a regular.

You never have to stand in line too long, if at all. They carry everything that I need every time, just about. But if you shop here often, you can let them know and they’ll accommodate you and stock up on your preferences for products if you need them to

I always get my immunizations at the Safeway Pharmacy on Mae Ann because they have this wonderful waiting room. You don't have to wait in a noisy and freezing cold supermarket but in a quiet and private environment. Today was particularly easy-breezy because of the pharmacy manager Nazanin. She was warm and professional and those shots were over quick!

Terrific place to grocery shop! Just before Valentine's day the flower area floor was covered in a vibrantly colorful sea of wonderful fragrance! Always fresh and fun!

Friendly people. Super nice store manager spent time helping us look for my 2 year old granddaughters hair bow. Introduced her to almost all of the staff. Girl in flower department gave my granddaughter a few flowers 💐 that weren't sellable because the stems were broken. She was thrilled.

They pretty much have everything! Organic and regular veggies and fruits of all kinds! Every kind of cheese u could ever want! Fresh roses, orchids, and other flowers. It is more expensive then say Wal-Mart or Save Mart. But you are getting fresh food!!!

Love this store it's convenient and there meat selection is wonderful. The butcher is very helpful is you have question on any of the things they offer. Or on how to prep or cook something.

Give Levi a raise! Lol. We went to this store in the middle of the night and they were so sweet and fun to talk to and made sure we knew all the good deals before we left. We’re usually not super talkative with strangers unless we have to be but they were just genuinely pleasant to talk to and conversation wasn’t awkward.

I will say this rating is 100% for the pharmacy. Over the summer we had to switch pharmacies and it was a giant mess getting everything transferred. The staff was very patient and kind in this whole process and making sure that we had all the meds we needed.

We have plenty of grocery shopping opportunities around us in Northwest Reno. We usually go to another one in our neighborhood but this Safeway seems to have some really great value items from awesome bread to good prices on cheese. It's nice that Safeway still has a gas plan when you spend money at their stores you actually get a rebate that you can use at the gas pumps.

They're open 24/7 and I never have to wait long in lines! I love their produce and large selection of meats and pantry items. Download their app, get a rewards account, and save more!

It was my first time ever shopping at Safeway. I just moved to Reno from Las Vegas & I’m still adjusting to stores closings lol. Initially I had planned to go to Walmart as it stated online it’s 24hrs but it’s definitely not! It was a little past midnight so I just googled what’s open at that time & Safeway was really my only option. I was amazed at how well organized & clean the store was! The produce is definitely great quality & pricing was surprisingly low for the amazing quality of products! I went into the store with 3 items on my list, by check out I had a cart full! Unfortunately, I just opened a new bank account with Chase & hadn’t received my debit card yet so I could only use Apple Pay & chase kept denying my transactions attempts for security reasons & it being past “business hours” I was unable to purchase my entire cart’s full which I felt absolutely terrible about!! The cashier, Levi, was so sweet & definitely helped a lot & made me feel a little better about the situation by the time I narrowed down a mountain of items into a small pile I could purchase with my chime account. So definitely 10/10 was super impressed & shout out to LEVI! You really made my experience 😊

Great store super clean sparkles, easy to find things ,friendly cashier very helpful, for me saving money.have not had a need to bother a butcher yet but I will. Produce was very fresh and Full. The meat cases were full. As well as dairy, Very nice grocery store.

Safeway in Truckee is one of the best grocery stores. It has a lot of food options and fresh made meals from the deli. It’s always kept very clean!! The staff is really really kind also! Just this week I bought a cake and the cashier wanted it to look nicer before I left, so she helped take off the price sticker and make it look nice. In the peak seasons this store will get very very busy. If you’re a tourist and you’re coming in summer or winter, expect to wait in line for about an hour. I typically come early in the morning or late at night to avoid that rush.
