Cousins’ Restaurant in The Dalles, Oregon, is an absolute gem! Those cinnamon rolls are massive, and the cookies? Simply out of this world! I dove into the coconut butterfly shrimp appetizer with chili dipping sauce, and let me tell you, it’s a flavor explosion in your mouth. The California chicken sandwich was my main dish, loaded with hickory smoked bacon, thick cheese, and a juicy chicken breast so tender, it falls apart with each bite. And don’t get me started on the fresh, non-greasy fries – perfection! Sipping on a local Freebridge Amber beer during happy hour was the cherry on top. Mixing the leftover shrimp sauce with mustard for my fries? Genius! Cousins’ isn’t just about eating; it’s an experience, a place to unwind and enjoy some seriously good food and vibes. Definitely a must-visit spot that serves up not just meals, but memories.

1st time to this place. Was intrigued by sign and decor outside. Inside is just as quaint, and they hosted a radio show from there, which was so entertaining to watch

Awesome food, my husband and I love this place. We drive 35 miles or so to eat here. We tried there cinnamon rolls this last time, it was amazing big enough for two people. Would recommend highly. Will be returning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the waitresses are the most helpful and sweet people. it's like family over there at cousins! drinking, telling stories, laughing with your friends. delightful place to stop if you're ever in the gorge. Hey Waitress, it's me Pauly D with the glasses 🕶🤓 you're cute.

Delicious!!! I had the 10 oz steak and eggs. Great flavor, and the hash browns that came with it were fully cooked and some of the top was nice and crunchy.

The biscuit was big and really soft and tasty with the butter and jam. Good amount of eggs. The steak was medium as requested and was still tender and juicy.

The only thing I did not get and I should have was the pastries. Coconut creme pie is my favorite. There are many classic things from the past to see. Pictures, tractors, trains and boxes from the products sold around area.

Food is always delicious. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. A lot of good homecooking.

Loved the food, the decor was very chrismassy, and the server was VERY welcoming. Had a great breakfast while passing through.

Everything about this place was awesome, food was super good and big portions for a great price, atmosphere and people are super friendly and even though it is right next to a busy road it still feels very homey, if you are driving by I would definitely recommend going

We were visiting from out of town and had an amazing time. The strawberry lemonade was delicious. I got the mac n cheese with bacon amazing *chef's kiss. They also bring out warm baked bread right when you sit down. We has Joel as are server and they were awesome. Hands down a must visit!

Portions are generous, service is great and our selections were very tasty! My only suggestion would be less country music, but you can't please em all 😉

The restaurant is right off the lobby for the motel portion of the site. It is a nice place with clean tables and floors. The waitress was friendly, but she did mess up one of my dishes we ordered, but everyone has an off day so we didn't take offense. I would highly recommend the chicken fried steak (either a breakfast combo, or dinner combo). It was absolutely amazing! If your in the area and are looking for a good home cooked meal feel this is the place for you!

My family and I stopped by here this evening for dinner , a little happy hour special and we were seated immediately! We had a really good experience and service was A1! The food was really good! Joel was our server and he took great care of us! Thank you for everything!

Good food and friendly staff. Nothing fancy, just good and filling.
The bread pudding is amazing.
Only issue is the parking lot. They need arrows to show people how to get out past the hotel so they aren't driving against the flow of parking.

What a gem! Great food at good prices. The staff were very attentive. Hints were clean. I ordered the steak and it was a nice cut of meat. Great decor too.

I love this place. The fried chicken salad I had was excellent. The dinner roll on the side was amazing.

My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy...he gave me a bite and that was amazing, too! I loved the paprika on it. That was interesting.

We always have to stop here if we're in The Dalles.

Stellar place! The food was great, the service was great, and it was very reasonably priced. You got a lot of food for less than most places. Our server was so nice. And it's a cool place.

I got the biscuits and gravy wit a side of amazing candy bacon. My wife got the meatloaf mashed potatoes and clam chowder.
The service was very quick and took great care of us.
The restaurant itself was also amazing, very comfortable family oriented.
If your in the area want some great food at a good price, then you need to stop by and try this place.

First of all the manager and our waitress, Carly R. were fantastic. The food was excellent and big portions. The manager let us use the banquet room cause we were a group of 22 people traveling. Even though the room was reserved for a party later in the day. Nobody left hungry and most took doggie bags. The cinnamon rolls and loaded tater tots were to die for. Overall 5+ stars. Our new favorite on I84. Visit them. You won't be disappointed.

I LOVE the country fried steak here! Thought I would try something different this time, so I went with the chicken pot pie. Deliciously homemade, great chunks of chicken, tasty vegetables and nice crust, was super good. Hubby loves the steak & eggs! The biscuits are one of my favorite things. The applebutter is divine. They also have honey if you like that. The dessert case is like a blast from the past with homemade pies and cakes. We stop here everything we go thru the Dalles, I highly recommend for a great sit down meal and friendly staff!

This place is amazing for kids! My four year old boy was mesmerized by the model train going around the restaurant, they had a decent selection of children’s food, and the children’s flapjack is big enough to feed an army of small children!!
Excellent fresh omelet and friendly service.
